Aquarina and Justicio ran across the village, greeting the people as they went, everyone quickly noticed Justicio was different now, stronger, taller, and with a mighty, beastly aura. He was no longer that gloomy anymore, and his presence alone generated a strong pressure. It could be said that he had even surpassed many of the other kids that made fun of him, and they didn't even dare talk to him now.

"What's wrong with everyone? They're looking at me too much," Justicio felt embarrassed.

"Well yeah! You got really strong so they're going to notice," said Aquarina. "SILVIAAAA!"

After reaching Silvia's house, Aquarina called the girl with a loud scream, and after waiting a few seconds, her voice echoed back.

"Comin'!"

They heard her running inside her house and then walking out from the door, her parents calling her name, telling her to stop being so loud.

"Silvia stop running around!"

"Why are you making such a ruckus again, girl?"

"Sorry, sorry! I'm going to hunt with my friends! See ya later!"

Silvia closed the door very loudly, making her parents even angrier, as she greeted her friends.

"Hey! How are you today- WOAH!"

Silvia gasped the moment she saw the new Justicio, taller, bigger, and even a bit more handsome out of nowhere!

"Hey!" Aquarina greeted her, patting Justicio's shoulders. "What do you think of this big boy? I made a man out of him with my alchemy, heh!"

"Amazing! Justicio you awakened your powers and…?!" Silvia asked.

"Ah yeah, we were able to do that, look I even got a spirit," said Justicio, showing Silvia the big worm.

"A worm?!" she gasped.

"I can't believe how disgusting that thing is! Who would ever make a worm spirit their companion? Hahaha!" Khepri laughed by Silvia's side.

"You're one to talk, you stinky bugger!" Aquarina said. "The little guy was just born, be nicer granny!"

"G-Granny?!" Khepri felt ashamed of being called like this, but fell silent.

Silvia instantly ran towards Justicio, touching his chest and arms and checking his muscles, she was also surprised he got so tall.

"You look so great Justicio! Amazing muscles!" Silvia nodded.

"A-Ahahah, thanks… Though you're touching me a bit too much, Silvia…" Justicio blushed a bit, embarrassed.

"A-Aaah! S-Sorry, sorry!" Silvia covered her face in embarrassment, running away from Justicio.

As Aquarina noticed the two lovebirds all embarrassed, she broke the ice.

"Anyways where's the big robot that Khepri had? No way you dragged it all the way inside your room, right?" Aquarina asked.

"Oh no, you don't have to worry about that!" Silvia said, sighing in relief Aquarina talked. "Khepri kind of stored the whole thing inside of her, I don't know how that worked."

"Despite being made of metal, the ornaments are part of me, so I can temporarily turn them into spiritual metals and combine them, reducing them within my body and compacting them into small pieces of my crown," said Khepri. "Hence why I call them ornaments!"

"So that's how it works…" Aquarina nodded. "Okay, now the big question, how does that even work anyways? And why do you have such a power to begin with? you're some sort of experiment of the gods, Khepri?"

"I… Uh, I don't know, I need to get more memories to figure out what I truly am, but I… think I was made by them, yes," nodded Khepri. "Let's go find the other ornaments already! I think we could find both of them today if we hurry."

"That would be nice, so we don't have to bother with this stupid quest anymore and concentrate on training for the inheritance trial," said Justicio, nodding. "Let's get this over with."

"Wow, rude much? How can you call it stupid quest?" sighed Silvia. "It's an adventure!"

"Whatever, whatever…" yawned Justicio. "Let's go or I'm going to fall asleep standing."

"Leviathan!"

Aquarina summoned Leviathan, making her friends sit over his large, draconic body, as the trio flew into the skies, following the radar within Khepri's red mirror.

They flew across the canyons and deserts for a good hour, before finally approaching their destination.

It was an area of the desert that seemed bleached, full of white sand, which was actually all ashes and salt.

"What's this place?" Aquarina wondered.

"Oh, I've heard about it!" said Silvia. "This is the… Um, the Salt Dunes! I think?"

"Yeah," nodded Justicio. "This is where we usually get our salt. See those huge crystals? They're all salt. They make a whole labyrinth around that area. Some call it the Salt Forest. We usually purify the salt with magic before using it though, it comes with too many things added to it. But it's good. I think."

"Interesting! What monsters are there?!" Aquarina seemed pumped up.

"I don't know, but people come here regularly so I doubt it's dangerous," said Justicio. "Let's go down and check it out then."

Leviathan descended slowly, arriving in front of the Salt Forest, and letting the trio step out from his back. And then, he quickly became smaller to move around more easily.

The trio of friends slowly began walking around, as Aquarian heard Pyuku's voice.

"Uwaah, it's all salt?! It's dangerous for me! I'll have to stay inside your Soulscape for now, Aquarina…"

Pyuku, as a slime, was very weak to salt, as it dried out his body even more than just strong sunlight, so he had to skip this day's adventure.

"That's fine Pyuku, don't worry."

After that, they resumed their travels, entering the Salt Forest and walking across a labyrinth of beautiful white crystals growing from the floor.

The crystals diverged into many patterns, resembling trees most of the time, with large branches that stretched upwards and divided into many smaller branches.

The air was also very dry here, and the smell of salt was very strong and slightly intoxicating…

"So where should we go to, Khepri?" Silvia asked.

"Eerr, over there!" Khepri led them around.

Yet, as they moved forwards and were halfway through…

RUMBLE!

Some of the crystals suddenly started moving, taking the form of huge humanoid statues made of salt crystals.
