Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?-Chapter 1557: The Oasis Village
-----
The Oasis Village was full of special people greatly and closely attuned with the Element of Water. The Sleeping Volcano Oasis wasn't just water, but also contained a great concentration of elemental spirit energy and mana.
This caused these people to slowly change over time, and as their children were born and new generations arrived, their changes became more and more notorious.
They had become one with the Oasis essence, becoming a village of water and protectors and guardians of this sacred oasis and spring.
Therefore, the moment they saw someone with a divine protection that emanated the purest essence of water itself, they naturally froze and were flabbergasted.
"She is a Hero herself, right? Her blessing, I can sense it."
"Yeah you got her," Justicio nodded.
"What wonderful news, the Hero of Water is here…!"
"We must tell the entire village and welcome her properly…!"
The moment they noticed who she was, the two people that greeted them suddenly ran away back to the village, leaving the trio almost completely speechless, looking at one another in surprise.
"Uh, what the hell happened?" Aquarina wondered, she was still trying to figure it out.
"I don't know! This has never happened before," said Silvia. "I guess they're amazed of your existence…? Maybe there's some relation with it."
"They might throw a party or something now," said Justicio, glancing at them from afar. "So don't be too surprised if they do and just accept it, enjoy it even."
"D-Dammit…" Aquarina groaned. "Okay, I guess… I'll have to just take it?"
She didn't really like the idea though, but if that was the way to enter the oasis and be allowed to take the last of Khepri's ornaments, Aquarina was willing to do some sacrifices!
As she had said that the entire village approached, rushing towards the two and celebrating, bringing food, mostly fruits and roasted fish, boiled mollusks, and also insects.
They brought a whole feast for them to enjoy! It seemed that their serious expressions changed into carefree smiles of pure bliss.
"The Heroine of Waters has come to bless us today! Hurray!"
"The wielder of the blessing of water! The Divinity of Water!"
"Oh, the greatest divinity! The one that has contracted Water Spirits themselves!"
"W-What the hell is wrong with these people? Okay this is not normal!" Aquarina cried as she saw them. They were a bit crazier than Aquarina had imagined, they grabbed her, lifted her up, and celebrated, moving her around the village.
The people started asking for her blessings, lowering their heads before her and she had to just touch their foreheads and sometimes they would kiss her feet too, kneeling before her.
And this made her feel really weird, this was strange!
"W-What the hell is going on?!"
Aquarina ended breaking out of the entire celebration party after around an hour, she could no longer take it anymore! The people of the Oasis Village gasped in surprise for a bit, glancing at her angered face.
"Enough! Let me go already! I don't want to spend the entire damn day doing your celebrations or rituals or whatever!" She said angrily. "I've had enough! An hour is all I'm going to give to you guys! Now let us go to the damn Oasis or I'm going to personally beat the shit out of all of you!"
Unlike Sylphy, she wasn't gentle with her words! A total contrast from Sylphy in fact, she threatened that she would just beat the shit out of them.
"S-Sylphy would've tried something gentler…" Aquarina thought, feeling a bit ashamed of what she said before, but not backing down. "Whatever! I'm already deep in this, so might as well just use my fists if necessary!"
Aquarina was growing to be a bit more delicate and think things through if possible, but at the end of the day it was within her nature to be a bit brute around the edges.
If talking didn't work, then she was an ardent believer that some knuckle sandwiches always made people agree, especially when they're left with swollen eyes here and there as parting gifts.
Of course that only applied to shitty people that were overly rude, not her friends, and that she didn't like.
Her friends though, received benefits and she would try to resolve things peacefully… talking, sometimes… well, sparring, maybe.
Or other times through competition.
This is how her rivalry with Zack went for a while though, but the boy was tough enough that taking a little karate chop in the head wasn't much of an issue for him.
He also loved fighting so he never minded getting a bit rough!
Nonetheless…
None of this mattered at all.
Surprisingly, the people of this village…
"I see, so that's the case."
"We apologize for scaring you, oh divine hero of waters."
"We were perhaps too emotionally invested."

"Long ago we received a prophecy that you would arrive one day, we didn't know when, but that it would just happen."
"We were too joyous perhaps, our apologies."
"If the Oasis is what you desire to see, feel free."
"A-Ah… Really?!" Aquarina gasped in surprise. "Hey guys, they let us in without problems!"
"Y-Yaay!" Silvia clapped, although smiling rather nervously. "F-Finally…"
"I thought a fight was going to break out for real…" said Justicio, almost trembling. "Aquarina, please don't test your luck like that again! They're super strong and also a dozen! DO you seriously think you could win?! There's someone there that's Tier 9, a bunch of Tier 8s too!"
"Nah, I'd win," Aquarina said confidently. "But it's nice they knew their place… Heh."
She was acting as if her intimidation worked, when it was just the people's devotion towards her and her title that worked!
"My name is Coralina, I am the chief of this village, I apologize for not introducing myself properly, hero," a very tall, slender woman stepped in, her dark brown skin, white tattoos, blue eyes and long clear blue hair was very distinct. "And this is my daughter, Agua."
She presented her daughter, which was very similar to her, with the slender and lanky build, eyes, and long hair.
"It is nice to meet you, heroine of waters," the girl said. "Please let me guide you to the Oasis! It's the least we could do."
