Tess was honestly fascinated by the feats that the Vanguard Guild achieved. It was like straight out of a drama or movie about an underdog being capable of flipping the sky.

She even wanted to witness more of their feats—until she realized the next guild to offend them was none other than Vegan Life.

When she received the news, the situation had already gone out of hand. It was also the first time that she emphasized and expressed her desire to Sylvan to immediately remove the culprit.

Having learned about the outcome for Vanguard Guild's enemy, she wanted Sylvan to cut off the poisoned root before the problem festered.

Unfortunately, the treatment was too late, and they were now tied in a predicament.

Either they had to offend the Vanguard Guild or Maleficent Limited. If she was ignorant about the Divine World like Sylvan, then she would have immediately chosen to offend the Vanguard Guild.

However, it was precisely because that wasn't the case that made her hesitant and leaning toward offending Maleficent Limited.

"Do you have a strong intuition that Maleficent Limited is inferior to the Vanguard Guild?" Sylvan suddenly raised his eyebrow and questioned.

Tess flashed a bittersweet smile and nodded.

"I know the Vanguard Guild appears to be the weaker party, but every enemy that their guild went against was always strong. Yet the outcome was a complete defeat for their enemy." She explained softly.

And she continued, "Also, the Vanguard Guild's official channel had uploaded a video. The video itself made me even more worried about them than Maleficent Limited."

"A video huh? Care to show it to me?"

"Of course, President."

This content is taken from fгeewebnovёl.com.

Sometime later, Tess controlled the main projection screen and showed the video that was uploaded by the Vanguard Guild's official channel. The video was titled: Slaughter Path, and was uploaded 1 day ago, which highlighted a lot of things.

Sylvan's eyes were glued onto the screen when the scene shifted to the Vanguard Guild posting news about their Guild Commander's death.

The outcry and commotion caused by it was equivalent to an army being informed their general was ambushed and killed.

Their emotion was vividly expressed and their strong desire for revenge could be sense. As the Vanguard Guild were quickly gathering its members and arriving at Windermere City, the scene was abruptly cut off and changed to a masked-player.

"Who is this masked-player?" Unaware of the players, Sylvan had to ask Tess for an explanation. The previous scenes were all large-scale as opposed to the current scene which focused on one individual.

However, the individual was masked and had their face covered completely.

"The masked player is Cool Wind, the Honorary Elder of Vanguard Guild," Tess explained softly.

"Cool Wind?" Baffled, Sylvan was confused why the name sounded familiar. He never played the Divine World nor cared about the news, so it shouldn't make sense why he felt familiar about it.

Tess noticed his baffled look and cleared her throat. "Cool Wind happened to be Xu Feng from earlier."

To be fair, it was also the first time she had seen the Vanguard Guild Honorary Elder in the real world. She was truly stunned initially which caused her rigid and tense reaction.

"Ah, right." Nodding, Sylvan returned his focus to the video, his thoughts unknown.

By the time the video ended, he still found himself drawn into the scene. The editing and the framework of the video were decent. It wasn't amazing, but it still captured his attention because of the content.

'So this is the Divine World. People actually control their body to perform those acts and not through keyboard and mouse.' He imagined himself trying to perform those actions and wondered if he could do the same.

Nevertheless, the point was that he came to realize why Tess was so cautious.

Despite being surrounded, Cool Wind was able to come up unscathed and practically slaughtered his opponents mercilessly.

"Tess, do you mind getting me a gaming capsule?" Sylvan suddenly asked.

Startled, Tess tilted her head to him. She was stunned briefly by the sudden request.

"A gaming capsule?" She asked in disbelief. "Does the President want to create a character and enter the Divine World?"

"Mhmm, I should at least use the time given to us to learn a bit more about the Divine World personally. Would you be my guide?"

"Of course!"

Tess was beyond ecstatic and never imagined that Xu Feng could have been the fuse to trigger Sylvan to join the Divine World. Although she wasn't sure what decision Sylvan would choose, she was still somewhat appreciative of Xu Feng and hoped they wouldn't be enemies.

While Tess was excited about getting a gaming capsule to deliver to the President's office, Xu Feng himself was roaming around Lumora City.

"Did you make it to the city safe and sound?"

"Yes, thanks to your vouch, I was able to bypass security." Amused, Xu Feng was surely taken aback by Carmen's ability. Right now, he was video calling her and was asking what type of souvenirs she wanted him to buy. It could be considered his repayment for the help, albeit not enough.

"Hehe, just consider it my Void Portal but in the real world." Carmen giggled and reminded him, "Anyway, the hunting in the Divine World had turned up a notch. And many guilds were asked to cooperate with us."

Ever since the Vanguard Guild made headlines of being the one capable of stopping the widespread hunt mission, many guilds started to express their interest in cooperation.

Of course, most of them also wished to invest into the guild, hoping to get some of the guild's shares.

However, they would all be dreaming, given Xu Feng was stern and adamant about keeping all the guild's shares from outsiders. Not even Carmen or Zhao Kai had any shares in the guild. The Vanguard Guild was wholly owned by Xu Feng.

"I'll say… don't you think I deserve some of the guild's shares? I did after all died and got my reputation slightly stained." Carmen grinned wickedly.

Xu Feng paused his steps and gazed at her silently.

Being stared silently all of a sudden, Carmen realized her joke had gone out of hand and tried to change the topic. But before she could do so, Xu Feng smiled briefly.

"Then do you want 5% of the shares as compensation?"
