Reincarnation Of The Strongest Spirit Master-Chapter 1289: Taking Control Over The Entire Battlefield
William was sure that by using these formations as a base, no matter how many enemies would flood them, his friends would stand their ground firm and stop any incoming attack.
"Time to kill those guards," William dashed fast, flashing towards his new targets. Dealing with these guards wasn't a problem for him, but the Chimeras were.
The only option available was to kill these. But he knew it'd take long enough to kill all of them, and that would let more to pop out from the den.
"Let's first deal with the den," William didn't hesitate to use his new technique over the den, "I'll make you mine!"
This was something that made him hesitant about dealing with the Chimeras. Such flying and fierce monsters wouldn't be proven to be useful in this realm, but even in the higher realm they were a force to be reckoned with.
Yet he didn't have any clear idea of how he'd make the released Chimeras get back to the den except for controlling the den. But to do so, he needed to do lots of stuff first, and he shouldn't be interrupted while doing so.

"I'll get rid of those guards first, then see what I shall do with the den," William turned his gaze towards the entire battlefield, "I can still make best use of these Chimeras till they get done with the big boss…"
So far, Lingerie proved to be a real challenge to the top powerhouses on his side. She kept releasing tons of fierce attacks, giving lots of these high-end masters a tough time.
"I'm glad they got to deal with her, not me," William smirked before dashing. And this time he started to store the attacks on his tails. He intended to deal with these guards fast and swiftly, before taking the Chimeras back to deal with the big bulk of Lingerie's army.
Even after all these fights, the enemies were still having tons of masters on their side. Even if they weren't on par with Lingerie's top masters or guards, with these numbers it'd still put him and everyone at great risk if the portal gushed out a large number the next few times.
The portal didn't let lots of masters pass this time as it was exhausted and damaged after Lingerie's passage last time. But that didn't mean the portal wouldn't slowly return to let lots of enemies pass.
So, William had to make sure he'd get rid of the strongest masters here, then try his best to lower the number of his enemies in the area before the next batches would arrive.
"Don't blame me, you were all bad masters from the start," William scoffed when he saw the look of worry over the faces of Lingerie's guards. He knew they spotted him a long time ago, and yet they weren't in a spot to let them prepare for him.
They lost half of their numbers, and the remaining guards didn't look in better shape either. Most of them were burdened with gruesome looking wounds, making them easy targets for William.
The attack came swift and most of them lost their lives in William's first attack. The remaining ones tried to run, hoping the Chimeras would shift their attention to William, putting pressure on him.
"Not a chance!" William could already read what the remaining few guards had in mind. He'd never give them any moment of rest.
As these guards expected, the Chimeras turned their attention towards William. But who knew William would be ready for this. He evaded the deadly attacks of Chimeras, then dash forwards towards one guard.
"Stay away from me… Agh!"
"I did as you asked, why die with such a bad look towards me? Huh?!"
William shook his head, while watching this guard get incinerated by the attacks of the six Chimeras chasing him.
William moved to hunt down the remaining guards. In less than five minutes, the last guard breathed her dying breath under the deadly attacks from the Chimeras.
"Come on, keep chasing me…" William didn't take a moment of rest, threw a few attacks over the flying Chimeras, before dashing fast towards the densely packed masters at the far distance.
As the distance was far, he knew it'd be risky to leave the den alone. So, he made sure to hit the den a few times before he dashed away towards the masters.
"Let's kill a few then go back," he tested this for a few times, before realising this wasn't going to work, "it takes a long time to go back and forth, and I didn't kill enough to make it count…"
William pondered about this problem. He wanted to kill as much as many of the enemy masters here, best to kill everyone before the large batches of masters would cross over from the portal.
"This is the only way," he took the entire situation into his consideration before deciding on the right way to do it, "I want you to do this…"
He used spirit telepathy to let his friends know of his plan. After that, he focused on the portal while evading the Chimeras.
In the next hour, the same thing happened across the entire battlefield. Lots of his side masters started to head out from their enemies, heading towards William.
Their number wasn't that high, but they made sure to attack the enemies with everything they got. As their number was small, the enemies got lured to attack them. And yet for a reason the enemy couldn't get, they never managed to engage in a final battle against those masters.
The reason was simple, as William asked his friends to pick only the wind-based spirit masters to do this task for him. They were considered the fastest masters in his army, and that made sure they wouldn't get hit by the enemies before reaching the point William specified for them.
William didn't ask them to go all the way to the portal, or even close. He knew if his masters tried to drag the enemies far off their main army, they'd suspect something was wrong and would return.
