Chapter 126: ASIS

TEN YEARS LATER

It’s been ten years now, ten good years and slowly, Amelia had began to accept herself as Ophelia.

It turned out that Giselle’s guess at the hospital was correct, it turned out that the fusion stuff that Ophelia did was to hand over her memories and magic to Amelia and and that was it.

"Adara!!" Amelia yelled for the umpteenth time as she noticed that the girl has once again disappeared from her sight, she had decided to go for a stroll in the forest and the little girl bugged her that she wanted to come along and in the end she did.

After waking up from the hospital, Damon decided that Amelia would go back with him to the underworld which was his own domain and it would enable him to protect her well enough.

Amelia at first wanted to disagree but then thought that there was really nothing left for her in the human realm anymore, the need for revenge against Marcus was gone and watching him get betrayed by Mia was really satisfying it was good for him to get a taste of his own medicine and as for Mia, she had decided to leave her to fate.

Aside that, her life as Amalia was pretty much trash, the family of the girl has not even bothered to look for her after they chased her out of the house and as for Marcy, Amelia knew that her digging would get her to no where, and as for Mika, when Amelia came back she was forced to go live with the person that hated her the most, Duane but eventually loved bloomed between them, weird right?

"Have you seen her?" Amelia asked a maid that was assigned by Damon to guide and follow them, "No my lady." The lady announced worrying Amelia even more.

The past few years she has been training with different spells but was not yet a master at locating people she was worried that her daughter would have and encounter with one of those so called revolutionaries.

Ever since they came back from the human world, the underworld had been chaotic but Damon managed to surpress it to a large extent since his absence played a large part to the uprising.

"Still go and search, you must find her before sunset." Amelia said with her green eyes gleaming with worry.

"Mom is never going to find me here." A little girl with red hair tied in pig tails skipped away happily ignoring the continuous calls of her name. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

"Arghhh!!" The little girl suddenly let out a scream as she fell into a ditch, standing back up she hissed as she dusted her clothes, "damnit now my clothes are all messed up." She cursed aggressively looking down at her now muddy and soiled clothes.

"You know a little girl like you should not go about cursing like that." A cold looking boy about the same age about Adara stood at the edge of the ditch while looking at her with folded arms.

"Aiyoo, scold me later but get me out of her first, I don’t want the mud to get into my hair and I also want to get back before my mom lose it." Adara pouted pitifully making sure she looked as cute as ever.

The boy’s little face flushed red as this was probably the first time he had seen a girl that cute.

Without any words he stretched out his hands and Adara grabbed them and he directly pulled her out without much efforts.

"Woah, you are quite strong for your age." Adara marveled while poking his hands wondering how such a lanky figure managed to pull out her petite body from the ditch.

"Stop that." He ordered coldly pushing her hands off but Adara almost immediately grabbed his hands turning them to look at his elbows with bewilderment in her eyes.

"Why do you have this mark?" Adara asked confused, "I was born with it." The boy replied grumpily while snatching his hands away from the little girl hands wondering what got into her.

"I have the same mark here." Adara pointed behind her palm making the little boy grab hold of her hands scrunitizing it carefully, and after a while, he twisted her hands behind her back and pinned her to the ground, "Who sent you?" He asked aggressively as he was surprised to see an identical mark to his.

"Jeez, what got into you? No one sent me okay? I was trying to look for my mom’s trouble then I fell into the ditch." Adara explaained trying to control herself from wincing in pain, "oh." The little boy said feeling a bit awkward, "Can you let go of my hand now?" Adara asked unable to take it any longer.

"Oh sorry about that." The boy apologized with a flushed face feeling embarrassed, "Adara, if you don’t get over here this instant I’m telling your father everything." Amelia’s yelling voice was heard.

"Aish, seems this is my cue to bounce, I’ll see you later." Adara said running forward before suddenly turning her back with a huge and bright smile on her face, "What’s your name please?" She asked cheekily and the little boy looked taken aback for a bit before muttering something beneath his breath, "What did you say?" Adara said as she failed to read his lips.

"My name is Asis." The boy yelled at Adara making her smile even brighter, "See you tomorrow Asis." She said before continuing her run.

Tomorrow? What does she mean by tomorrow? Asis wondered as we watched the bright and sunny girl disappear into the woods, it then dawned on him that he did not even ask for her name, what’s the use, he sighed to himself as he looked one more time towards the direction the bright little girl had passed before heading towards the opposite direction, his lone lanky figure walking in the woods with the breeze blowing his green hair that had the trace of black in them about and his usually dim green eyes now gleaming with excitement.
