Revenge Deal With The Devil-Chapter 147: TIME TO FIGHT
After spending sometime with Adara, Damon finally decided to leave and head back to his study.

Asis went deep into the forest and climbed a tree with an expressionless face, he tried to look around to find out the best angle in which the arrow could have been shot from.
His eyes suddenly went to the direction of a tree with claw marks on them, without any hestitation, Asis jumped on the tree and examined the mark, it was a demon alright and his scent was quite distinct.
Even though he is a Demon, Asis has been trained to use all his senses quite effectively even his sense of smell.
Following the demon’s trace, Asis ended up in a clearing in the in the middle of the forest where he and Adara met 8 years ago.
Asis stood at the middle with furrowed brows a little bit confused at the thought that the scent ended there which meant that the demon stopped moving at that spot.
"Could he have teleported?" Asis wondered muttering to himself as he looked around, he felt like the demon could not have just teleported like that, if he did then why go through the hassle of running all the way here, it was absurd if one thought of it deeply.
"Something is definitely fishy." Asis said out loud as he knelt down and placed his palm on the ground, he felt a great surge of energy coming from underneath, then his eyes widened, in realization, something big was definitely coming and he had no idea what it is, he better go warn his family, Asis thought standing up abruptly and started running but with time his footsteps slowed down and then he came to a halt as he wondered what has gotten into him.
Why was he bothered about people that were not so much enthusiastic to see him at his birth and only accepted him now and slandered the man who had taken them in.
The instructions that Silva had given him rang his head again, yes he was doing it just to gain their trust and lure them to Silva so that he can triumph over his tyrant father.
With that thought, Asis decided not to run and instead teleported himself immediately to Damon’s study.
Damon who was busy staring at the pregnancy scans was shocked that someone had entered all of a sudden and quickly hid them inside his drawers, he was the devil and in the eyes of people he was meant to be this cold emotionless shut of being but he too had feelings, feelings he discovered after meeting his mate but it was best if he hid that side from people. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
"What do you want?" Damon asked coldly raising his head to stare at whosoever entered his study in such a disrespectful manner but instead was shocked to see Asis standing there before him looking panicked.
Damon did not know how manage that worry crept into his heart seeing the boy like that but he was still worried and abruptly stood up to approach him.
Standing in front of Asis, Damon held his shoulders looking him in the eyes, "What’s wrong? Just take in a deep breath and let it all out." Damon advised him while staring at him, Asis pretended to do as it said after all he was just acting.
"When Adara and I were practicing just now, an arrow came out from nowhere and was about to hit me but she pushed me out of harm’s way and got scratched in the cheeks instead, when you and m...om." Asis forced himself to call Amelia his mother after all it was for the sake of Silva, "When you and mom went to drop Adara off, I decided to go into the woods and check out who dared to do that, in the ended I discovered quite a heavy amount of demon scents down there, it seems their heading towards this direction through a tunnel, we need to leave here quick." Asis explained what he has felt, at least this should get Damon to trust him a little even if it’s not too much.
"Asis are you sure of what you are saying?" Amelia voice sounded from behind, she had come to get some things from Damon’s study with the thought he would not be there but hearing all what Asis said got her confused, there was a tunnel under the castle?
"Yes mother, I’m pretty sure." Asis said, he felt like the pair of beings were wasting a lot of time and they should get out of here quick, he knew Damon was strong but compared to what seemed to be hundreds he was no match and as for his mother she seemed useless in her own right.
Amelia was stupified that Asis addressed her as mother, she had heard him telling Damon of course but it felt so sweet hearing it come out from his mouth.
"Shit." Asis and Damon cursed almost at the same time and turned to look at each other again confusing Amelia, the demon has arrived but since Amelia did not have any sensing spells activated at the moment she had no idea.
"Amelia you have to go hide." Damon said simply, there was no way he was going to let harm come her way, Amelia could pretty much guess that the demons had arrived, "Damon I’m not that weak human I used to be, I’m your mate Ophelia Alora, and in other words, we are in this together." Amelia said in a determined voice, Damon was first taken aback at the fact that she had accepted that she was Ophelia and not only that, she seemed to have forgotten about their fight, it seems that the demon attacking was worth it after all.
Asis rolled his eyes, thinking that Damon would be dumb enough to let the weak woman battle with them, but to his surprise after a lot of persuasion, Damon finally agreed and that was when the door burst open with hundreds of demons baring their fangs out fully transformed, it seems they have brought in their a game, now it was time to fight.
