"Arghhhhh!!!!" Mia yelled out in anger swiping all the things on her desk to the ground, "Why?! Why?! Why?!" She yelled angrily ruffling her hands through her hair.
Everything was perfectly fine till moonlight agency popped out of nowhere and started stealing deals of starlight agency.
It was out right wrong, Mia was frustrated and decided to arrange a meeting with the boss of Moonlight to see if they could reach a consensus or something, before this,Starlight was just an entertainment company riding on its former glory.
It was the perfect example of beautiful on the outside and ugly on the inside and since Marcus and Amelia were gone, no able hands to manage it, Mia and her so called lover were totally useless when it came to managing business so that area was blocked.
Mia heard a ding notification sound coming from her phone and what she saw next caused her to throw it on the ground smashing it to bits.
It was a picture of her lover kissing another woman so passionately in the park, currently she was fuming with anger when the secretary came in to remind Mia that her meeting with Moonlight entertainment.
Mia stomped all the way to her car making sure she looked very well dressed and by that, dressed seductively enough to lure the CEO of Moonlight entertainment in her bed so she could trash starlight.
Reaching the meeting venue, Mia was asked to wait in the conference room, after waiting for about an hour, Mia called on the receptionist as she was unable to hold it in any longer.
"Where is your boss? The meeting wws supposed to start an hour ago?" Mia questioned putting on a sweet smile on her face constantly reminding herself that she wasn’t in her territory so she should try to keep her anger in check.
"He’s busy with something else, and would be down in a moment." The receptionist said politely while, Mia went back to sit down, that moment turned to one hour and then ti two hours and then Mia finally lost it.
"Who the hell do you think you people are?! You’ve kept me waiting for three hours!!" Mia yelled out with angry eyes, she felt drained and tired and thought that she could hardly hold on any longer.
"What’s all this ruckus?" Mia heard a familiar yet unfamiliar voice behind her, it felt familiar because she had heard this same voice whisper sweet nothings to her at night and at the same time, it felt unfamiliar because now it was coated with maturity of one that had gone through hell.
Slowly, Mia turned around to see Marcus standing behind her with his hands tucked his pockets, and his long overall coat actuating his suit, in order words he screamed rich all over him.
Before Mia could open her mouth to speak, The receptionist hurried out and bowed down Infront of Marcus, "I’m so sorry boss for allowing such a thing to happen." She pleaded then it struck in Mia, this was no longer the Marcus she knew but the boss of Moonlight entertainment.
