RISE OF EROS-Chapter 666 - 565
While all these high-level meetings and constant battles across the continent against Purgatory were taking place, in the least expected place something was happening.
In the kingdom of Tripia, the neighboring country of Cannaris, the young king Dustas Tripia walked through the wide hallway of his castle on his way to his private office. No one accompanied him, but along the way, many guards could be seen stationed watching.
This private office was somewhat special, as no one could enter without Dustas’ permission, not even the maids could enter to clean it. Everyone found this situation strange, but no one said anything.
Everyone knew after Dustas took the throne, that this man despite his youth was not someone simple. He was intelligent, patient, and quite dangerous, so no one interfered in his personal affairs.
It’s not that they weren’t curious about this office, in fact, it was quite the opposite, as no one was allowed there. Even the king himself cleaned that office, which made it even stranger.
The thing was, everyone was afraid of how Dustas might react if they interfered. They had witnessed him eliminate his father and brother to take over the throne, so eliminating a few employees for meddling in his life wouldn’t be difficult.
Soon after, Dustas arrived at the office where two guards were stationed at the door and after greeting them, he opened the door and immediately closed it upon entering, not allowing anyone to see what was inside.

The office was completely dark, but it wasn’t like you couldn’t see inside it. Although Dustas was the one who cleaned it and didn’t have skills as good as those of the cleaning maids, no speck of dust could be seen in it.
Although this office was off-limits to everyone, it wasn’t empty. Aside from the luxurious furniture and large bookshelves full of books on its walls, there was a person there.
From his posture, it could be guessed that he was an older person, but a cloak covered him completely, so it was impossible to tell who he was. The only evident thing was that the person there was a man.
Although the cloak covered him completely and because of the darkness it seemed to be black, it was actually blue. The man was sitting calmly drinking what looked like tea.
Upon seeing the man, Dustas immediately approached and with a respect he had never shown anyone before, knelt on one knee and greeted, "Master." The man who was drinking tea, placed the cup on the table in front of him and looked at Dustas.
"It seems that things are developing properly," the man said in a calm tone, but his voice was deep and had a trace of magnificence. Dustas remained bowed and said, "Everything is going according to master’s instructions."
"That is good to hear, but I am afraid we will have to speed up the plan," the man said as if disturbing thoughts had come to him. Dustas knew this man very well, for it was thanks to him that he had reached his position and so he understood why his master seemed upset.
"Is it because of the demigod meeting?" Dustas asked cautiously. He knew his master too well and knew that he could anger him even more, so he was cautious when trying to get information.
This man whom Dustas addresses as, "Master", is none other than one of the leaders of Purgatory. This man had taken Dustas as his student since he was a child and had molded him into what he is today.
He had a plan in mind to be able to carry out the organization’s goals and so far, his decades-long plans were bearing fruit. Dustas was smart and that was why he was able to meet expectations.
The problem was that Dustas was very smart. He knew the identity of his master, so obviously, he knew about the Purgatory organization. In fact, this organization made it much easier for him to rise to power.
He had no problem with that, as he didn’t care who it was as long as it benefited him and so far everything had benefited him. The problem was that Dustas now knew the goal of the organization called Purgatory and its master.
Dustas was not afraid to associate with them, but saying that he agreed with their goals would be incorrect. He wanted to be king and have power over everyone, however, if the fallen god was revived, he would not have it.
Although on the surface he followed his master’s instructions and helped the organization, in reality, he was looking for ways to separate himself from them and even help eliminate them.
He had certainly received many benefits from this master, the selfishness of humans went beyond what one can think and Dustas was no exception, in fact, he is even more selfish than most.
Why would he want to revive a god who would take away his power?, was Dustas’s thought, that was why he wanted to get rid of his master and his organization, but it was easier said than done.
Purgatory was not weak. Even his so-called master could destroy his kingdom effortlessly, so Dustas had to be cautious in his plans. Unfortunately, no matter how intelligent he was, he was no match for them.
When this man dressed in blue took Dustas as a student, it was not only because of his position as prince of Tripia. Any prince in any country would do, only Tripia suited his plans.
He also did it because Dustas was ambitious and intelligent so all the requirements were met, but it was because of these same characteristics that they did not trust him completely. They needed those traits for their plans to work, but now that they had been exposed, those same traits made Dustas a possible enemy, so they kept a close eye on him.
Although subtle, Dustas’ movements did not go unnoticed. They already knew that Dustas was planning to betray them, but since they still needed him, they could not eliminate him, so they maintained the status quo.
"That is correct. The organization’s exposure is not good, so we must speed up," said the man dressed in blue, looking at Dustas with a dangerous glint that Dustas did not notice.
Dutas had kept his head down as he always did when talking to his master, so he could not see that the man dressed in blue was already plotting how to eliminate him when he was no longer useful to him. Your next chapter is on novelbuddy
"I will speed up the plan," said Dustas, unaware of the calamity that awaits him. The man dressed in blue did not say anything, he just stood up, and with a slight assist, he disappeared from the place without a trace.
Sensing the man leaving, Dustas stood up and let out a sigh. Being in the presence of such a man is always stressful, as the pressure he exerts is not something common.
"I must speed things up," Dustas muttered, but this was not in reference to the plans he had just discussed with the man in blue, but to his own plans to betray Purgatory without coming to harm.
