RISE OF EROS-Chapter 675 - 574
Lugia smiled as she heard Zaros’ words, for it was not the first time she had heard them and in fact, she fully agreed with them, but she still felt some dissatisfaction.
The dissatisfaction was not because she did not like Zaros’ words, but because she knew they were true. This meant that Andrew could become a hero in times of need, but she did not want it to come to that.
In her mind, Lugia wanted Andrew and his guardians to be strong enough now, so that they could take part in the battle they were about to face.
She knew that if things came to the worst, many bad things would happen before Andrew could rise as a hero. Heroes do not appear out of nowhere, they are created, and that only comes from misfortune.

She did not want Andrew to have to go through that. Not because she felt bad about the fact that he might have to suffer, but because of the fact that many would have to before he could take a step forward.
It was obvious that he had to be protected first, as he is now, and that many would die in that protection before Andrew was ready to fight, and that was what left her with a bitter taste.
Zaros was not ignorant of Lugia’s thoughts. He understood them very well, he had not lived so long and experienced so many things as to not know, but unlike her, he believed it was normal.
Expecting Andrew to grow and increase his strength overnight was illogical. Zaros as a high-level strategist, knew that everything had its times and phases, so Andrew had to be protected for now.
There would be sacrifices, but he understood and accepted it, something that Lugia did not seem to be very clear about. Obviously, this difference came from different feelings, but from the same part.
The war against the fallen god and his followers a thousand years ago on the lost continent was the cause. Lugia lost a lot in that war before they could achieve victory.
Until recently, she believed that she had lost Lilith, Arion’s wife, in that war, but she was not the only one who lost. The dragons lost many loved ones in that war and that is why she could not help but think that she would lose many again.
Everyone talks about what happened in the war a thousand years ago. Everyone says that it was a confrontation between the fallen god and his followers against the gods, spirits, and beings of this world, but that is not entirely true.
The war began with the inhabitants of this world facing an enemy much more powerful than them. It was because of this that the angels and light elves were almost exterminated.
It was not until later, when they were desperate, that the gods and spirits intervened. No one knows why their interference was so late and although they helped them overcome extinction, it did not change the fact that many died.
Lugia had the shadow of that massacre alive in her mind and believed that this time it would be the same, so she could not wait for Andrew to slowly gain power. Unfortunately, she also did not have a way to make him stronger.
Their only option was to destroy Carcom and the members of Purgatory before the fallen god appeared and they could prevent the tragedy, but they knew it wouldn’t be easy. They were hidden and difficult to locate.
Letting out a sigh, Lugia stopped watching the training and began to tell Zaros about the instructions given by Crhono for Andrew’s protection. Zaros listened attentively and raised his own ideas.
Although Crhono had come up with a plan, this is Zaros’ territory, and being a good strategist, he left many things at his disposal. Elidyr had also left several of his liquid spirit brothers in the city as reinforcements.
It was clear to them that Andrew’s location had been exposed, so being attacked was very likely, so they had to have the means to protect themselves. It is true that, within the Cannes Palace, Andrew is almost invincible, but the key is in the "Almost".
It was known that the members of Purgatory possessed one of the remnants of the fallen god and that with the help of that remnant, they could wreak havoc. They had already seen this when Lortad attacked, so they would not let their guard down.
Adding Lugia, Zaros, and Lucian, there were another 5 demigods that Elidyr had sent. Although it seemed like a great lineup, it was actually still a bit lacking. Fortunately, Crhono had sent a message that he would send some dragons to reinforce the defenses. Since Lugia and Vaelyra had left when Crhono arranged this, he could only notify by message.
Fortunately, dragons have many methods, so quickly notifying this incident was no trouble, but the dragons that would be sent would take a few days to arrive. Elidyr was also nearby, so in case of an emergency, he could quickly come to help. Zaros had also set up several protective barriers in different places around the city.
He couldn’t put them up at the entrance, as it wouldn’t disrupt the movement of the city, but some at his mansion and in places near Cannes Palace weren’t impossible. While there was no safer place than Cannes Palace, an additional barrier wasn’t unwelcome. Although it might not seem like it, everyone was on high alert right now.
Zaros wasn’t stupid enough to believe that his enemies wouldn’t attack. As Lugia said, Andrew is weak, but in terms of threat, he is the greatest to Purgatory and Carcom’s goals. Therefore, he was certain that now that he had been revealed to the world, Purgatory and Carcom wouldn’t sit idly by. Unfortunately, no one knew how badly Carcom was hurt.
They already knew that Carcom tried to sneak into the dragon territory and was injured by the 5 dragon kings, but not even the warriors who caused the injuries knew how serious they were.
Although Carcom looked battered when he ran away, they couldn’t be sure if he was really in bad shape, so they couldn’t relax with him. Ironically, Carcom was really injured.
His life wasn’t in danger, but facing a legend-level demigod in his condition was suicide, so he wasn’t really a threat, but no one knew that, so Zaros planned everything taking that into account.
For his part, Andrew returned to Cannes Palace with his companions. His wives and guardians traveled quietly in his carriage, but there were 3 additional companions.
Vaelyra, Helga, and Layla accompanied them. Although none of them admitted it to Andrew, they had feelings for him. Even the three of them looked at each other and could see the same feeling in each other’s eyes.
Ironically, they didn’t feel jealousy, but a strange camaraderie. They themselves didn’t understand the reason for this feeling, but they had to admit that it was better than feeling annoyance towards the others.
Little did they know that it was Andrew’s divinity that gave them this feeling. The harems of the Eros gods were always harmonious and although there were many reasons, they weren’t necessary at the moment. Explore hidden tales at novelbuddy
The point is that, thanks to that, the three girls who felt affection towards Andrew, weren’t hostile towards each other, but instead felt a sense of camaraderie. Andrew looked at the three girls and could only smile bitterly.
His wives had already warned him about Helga and Layla’s feelings, so he wasn’t ignorant. He could now see the signs that he ignored before. On the other hand, Crhono had told him of his plan regarding Vaelyra.
Since Crhono had told him that he wouldn’t interfere with the feelings and that Vaelyra didn’t know about this plan, he thought it would be difficult for Vaelyra to fall in love with him, as long as he didn’t chase her.
However, now that she was here, Andrew noticed that the dragon girl already had feelings for him. It’s not that Andrew suddenly became perceptive, but that her expressions were similar to Helga and Layla’s.
This was giving him a headache. Make no mistake, it’s not that Andrew was upset about having three beautiful women in love with him, but about who they were and what they represented.
Two were the princesses of the duchy and granddaughters of Zaros, while the last one is one of the strongest geniuses of the dragon clan. Although he had received the blessing to be with them, Andrew felt pressured.
That’s right. Andrew had talked to Zaros about Helga and Layla because he didn’t want to do anything behind their backs, even though he knew that nothing escaped their eyes.
Telling him was more of a way of showing respect. To his dismay, Zaros didn’t mind, in fact, he encouraged him to do so. Obviously, there was one condition and that was that if he took them as wives, he had to tell Damon, Abigale, and Jasper everything about his identity.
Zaros could keep the secret, but Helga and Layla are daughters and sisters of those three, Zaros would not deprive them of knowing the true identity of who would be their son-in-law and brother-in-law.
Honestly, Andrew had no problem with that, because he trusted those three vampires. Since he met them, they have only shown him affection and respect, so it didn’t bother him, but, still, it was an awkward situation.
With these feelings, the carriages arrived at the Cannes Palace and entered without much ceremony. Although they had sweated a lot in training, they had showered at the Pixoy family mansion, so they went to the office immediately.
They weren’t going to discuss any important issues, just have something to drink and eat some snacks. In short, to spend a pleasant and leisure time with friends.
