Ruler's Awakening: Inheritor of the SSS-Rank Dimensional Talent-Chapter 150: The Beginning of Devastation
The black spear shot through the sky directed downwards, precisely in front of Luke, who lay dying on the ground.
With the black spear’s power, a magic wall was created and could hold back the barrage of power from Aaron’s purple orb.
To Aaron’s surprise, there seemed to be a weapon capable of withstanding the power of his SSS-R talent.
Aaron looked down, watching as cracks appeared on the black spear shaft made of iron, a sign the spear would not be able to withstand Aaron’s purple orb attack for long.
A man in black robes and the Night Liberators’ typical red-black uniform emerged in the sky. Everyone was glued to him; he had a magic aura stronger than Luke and was almost equal to Aaron.
’That suit, is he a member of the Night Liberators? Why is he stronger than Luke?’ Aaron asked.
"Did you come to help him? Too bad, his life can’t be saved."
"Stop all this chaos, Aaron. You’re making the Chief of the 25th Night Liberators furious!" said the man, middle-aged with a sturdy and authoritative look, the area within his surroundings filled with a strong flame element aura.
"25th Night Liberators? Did you come all the way from upstairs simply to help him?"
The man introduced as Gunther, a confidant of the 25th Night Liberators who was assigned to guard the group’s branch on the 10th floor solely to ensure the Night Liberators group’s existence wasn’t ruined.
Aaron’s arrival and the message Mason had relayed to him about the city’s situation were more than enough for Gunther to use the fairly valuable Inter-Floor Instant Teleportation Slip.
The slip made it easy for someone to go to the intended floor as long as it was still in their privileged floor access range.
Using it, they didn’t need to wait for the travel across floors cooldown like a regular adventurer. Simply activate it and choose the floor to go to, and they will arrive at the light stone on it within seconds.
"Tell me, what do you want? I’ll grant it," Gunther explained.
"No, Mr. Gunther. Don’t grant his wish. He can do worse than you can imagine!" said Mason, standing next to Luke, who was treated by the medical team.
Gunther glanced to the side, looking intimidatingly at Mason. It was true the man had told him, but Gunther’s arrival was to save Luke and preserve the existence of the 10th Night Liberators.
"Are you ready to endure the loss of the Night Liberators from the 10th floor?!" snapped Gunther.
"I’m not prepared for that, Mr. Gunther."
Mason admitted his guilt for provoking him to attack Aaron. The damage the 10th Night Liberators had taken was already beyond severe; if Gunther and Aaron fought again, then the possibility of the city’s destruction would be inevitable.
Gunther returned his gaze to the front, fixing his attention on the two people with the dark element. He didn’t expect Aaron to be able to destroy the Night Liberators with his abilities. He thought Aaron was a lowly maniac who didn’t even know how to control his talents and powers.
"How is it? What is your wish? EXP Elixir Lv. 5? Mythological Race Blood Vial? Or an heirloom weapon?" asked Gunther, offering something that could interest Aaron.
"I’ve come to take Isabella back!" said Aaron.
"Isabella?"
The middle-aged man glanced sideways down, his eyes fixed on Mason. Mason began to explain to Gunther who Isabella was and what Isabella’s relationship with Aaron was like. Gunther listened intently.
"So, this place was destroyed because of a woman?!" said Gunther.
"It’s not about the woman; it’s about the group’s integrity! We can’t keep letting Aaron and his gang of criminals keep scorning the Night Liberators," Mason replied, firmly telling Gunther.
"If you arrest Aaron, will that restore all the wounded? Will it restore the ruined buildings?!"
"Look at him! He tried to arrest Aaron with his force. But what happened? He’s dying and crippled, showing the weakness of the Night Liberators!" asserted Gunther, again staring intently at Aaron.
Gunther flew over to Aaron with the help of his magic sword. He said he would free and hand her over to Aaron, but he had to promise not to open a new page of hostilities with the Night Liberators.
Aaron looked down; a considerable number of people had been killed by his attack. Among the living and wounded, there were cries of sorrow for the loss of their friends or lovers, as well as a possibly unforgivable grudge against Aaron.
It was easy for him not to seek trouble with the Night Liberators. However, grudges don’t fade like grief. Revenge can only be relieved if it’s avenged.
The chain of hostility would still exist, and Aaron couldn’t deny it.
"I’ll give it a try if you don’t start first!" said Aaron. Gunther smiled with satisfaction at Aaron’s words.
Gunther ordered Mason to bring the woman before him. With his heart full of anger, Mason was forced to do what Gunther ordered.
Aerith was still beside Aaron, having not returned to the Dark Dimension as the situation wasn’t completely safe, let alone the arrival of a strong man named Gunther from the 25th floor.

Andrew watched the situation above the Night Liberators HQ from afar, with Silviana by his side. Thankfully for Andrew, he had maintained a good relationship with Aaron. If not, he worried Sky Sword 10th’s HQ could be destroyed and razed to the ground like theirs.
"I see that Aaron’s strength is comparable to Gunther’s," Silviana explained.
"No, he’s not. Aaron is stronger. He has an ultimate ability that isn’t being used."
"What’s our next move? Only Sky Sword has a leader among the three major groups in the city. This could be an advantage for us," Silviana replied.
"We’ll think about that later. For now, we’d better keep our eyes forward," Andrew explained. Silviana nodded in agreement. Your next chapter awaits on novelbuddy
About 15 minutes into their wait, Mason arrived with Isabella by his side. They came riding Mason’s beast servant, able to arrive fast.
Isabella was shocked when she arrived at the Night Liberators HQ. Their magnificent building was shattered and crumbled; everything was flattened to the ground in that place.
Isabella also witnessed many humans dying horribly, their bodies torn apart, and most of them were members of the Night Liberators.
"Wh-What happened?" asked Isabella, scared.
"Isabella," called Aaron softly from above the sky.
Isabella turned her face and raised her head upwards. Her eyes were wide with dilated black pupils. Her legs and hands trembled as the man she loved appeared before her, to rescue her.
"A-Aaron?" asked Isabella, her voice hoarse and stammering.
Aaron smiled. An agreement had been made between Gunther and him. Aaron would not bother the Night Liberators again with Isabella by his side. He flew low from the sky to reach Isabella to confirm that she was okay.
"Did you do all this?" asked Isabella, speaking while looking at Aaron, who flew over her.
"I didn’t want you to get hurt. Now, you’re safe with me," Aaron replied, smiling broadly as he reached out, trying to reach Isabella.
Isabella nodded in delight, her eyes glazed over with a broad smile of joy written on her face. Her lithe hand lifted, welcoming Aaron’s presence near her for the first time in a few months.
"Thank you, Aaron."
STAB!
Aaron stopped flying with his eyes crossed. His hand, which was initially stretched out, was clenched tightly with sharp eyes gazing forward.
The sound was clearly heard by anyone near Isabella, a sound of treason!
Mason, filled with hatred and anger, drove Luke’s sword forward through Isabella’s body from behind. Isabella was shocked, seeing the tip of the blade pierce her stomach deeply.
"ISABELLA!" shouted Aaron.
"A... Aaron."
Aaron flew quickly near the woman, reaching out and using his body to become the woman’s backrest.
Her face turned deathly pale, vomiting blood out of her mouth with both legs limp and difficult to hold her body up.
Both of Isabella’s hands were shaking, trying to reach Aaron’s face, who was holding her at the moment. Blood stains were painted on Aaron’s cheeks when Isabella’s fingers managed to touch him. She was satisfied to be able to see Aaron near her for the last moment of her life.
"Hang in there, Isabella. I will heal you!" said Aaron, his eyes glazed over with tears.
"Thank ... thank you, Aaron."
The warmth of Isabella’s hand faded away in seconds, her hand falling limply while she was still in Aaron’s arms. Aaron checked the pulse on her neck and hand; the man was furious and grunted angrily.
"She’s dead!"
THUMP!
Aaron’s magic aura emanated so strongly that it pushed away anyone in the surroundings. Mason was bounced off, as was Luke’s body.
Gunther was annoyed and furious. Mason had foolishly killed Isabella without knowing what might happen to the 10th Night Liberators.
"You’re a fool, a jerk, and a filthy bastard, Mason!" shouted Gunther.
Aaron looked forward, seeing Mason as the main mastermind of Isabella’s death. He placed Isabella’s body sideways on the ground.
The man brought back the power of his purple magic; the resentment in his heart couldn’t be avenged by anyone. His mind was blinded in anger with a great ambition to destroy the Night Liberators for good.
"I withdraw my decision, Gunther!" declared Aaron.
"We will put Mason to death. You don’t have to—"
"I will destroy Night Liberators on every floor! That is my blood oath to Isabella."
