Ruler's Awakening: Inheritor of the SSS-Rank Dimensional Talent-Chapter 304: Solid Decision
"Dark Empress? Is she the ruler of the Dark Pillar besides the Dark Ruler?" Aaron asked.
Aaron had suspected it from the start, because he couldn't feel the magic fluctuations typical of the mage tier of the witches on him.
When Aaron arrived, all he felt was the presence of a beautiful woman full of hospitality, not how strong she really was.
The man responded by stepping back, away from the gazebo. The attitude that Aaron showed made the Dark Empress smile slightly.
"Too late," said the woman.
"You already know about me, it's useless for you to run," replied the woman.
Even though she had threatened him, Aaron didn't just believe her. He flew away from the park at a fast pace, heading out of the park area.
The woman with the title Dark Empress stepped out of the park gazebo. Her head was looking up at the sky, watching the faint traces of flying magic that Aaron had released.
"Let's see how quickly you despair," replied the woman.
Elsewhere, Aaron could breathe a sigh of relief realizing that he had flown away from the woman. The woman was truly terrible, her speech and demeanor were enough to give Aaron goosebumps.
Surprisingly, Aaron stopped flying when he saw a beautiful garden full of flowers spread out in front of them.
Right in the middle of the gazebo, the woman in the beautiful dress was back and seemed to be smiling kindly at Aaron.

"Welcome to the 99th floor, Aaron," said the woman.
"Wait! Didn't I already leave...."
Curious about what was going on, Aaron flew again in a different direction away from the flower garden.
All the sudden and unexpected irregularities made Aaron have to think extra hard to find a loophole in this problem.
From the front, there was a vast desert that bordered directly on the tropical forest. Aaron smiled, the existence of the desert was enough to prove that the woman wouldn't chase him again.
As Aaron flew through the barren desert, he was again surprised by the appearance of a beautiful flower garden with a gazebo in the middle.
The Dark Empress woman was sitting in the gazebo enjoying a cup of tea.
"W-What exactly happened?" asked Aaron.
"You're trying to avoid me, but you can't. You don't know for sure how my powers are," the woman replied.
"Your powers?" Aaron asked.
"Sit down. Let's talk about it nicely, I don't want to waste my energy killing people like you either," she explained.
Aaron was still floating freely in the air, continuing to fix his attention on the gazebo. He realized that flying in a different direction would still result in the same thing: meeting the mysterious woman again.
In the end, Aaron gave up and landed from the sky. He stepped into the garden and met the woman.
The woman immediately served warm tea for Aaron, who accepted and tried to sip it, feeling warm in his mouth and stomach, with a slightly bitter taste.
"The rulers of the Dark Pillar Tower are divided between the Dark Empress and the Dark Ruler," replied the woman.
"We are not a couple, or a married couple. We work with different tasks," he replied.
"My name is Cassia. I have held the title of Dark Empress for 100 years," Cassia replied, surprising Aaron.
"What?! 100 years? But you don't look old," Aaron replied.
"Those who get the title of Dark Empress or Dark Ruler stop aging when they get that title. I got it when I turned 24 and since then, I have not aged anymore," Cassia said.
"It feels hotter here, let's change the atmosphere."
Cassia snapped her fingers, instantly changing the surface contours and the forest in that place.
The desert was overgrown with towering green trees, birds were present and chirping incessantly, the breeze blowing soothingly over the place.
Aaron witnessed the change in the surface contours of this place firsthand. Now, he knew the reason why he couldn't run away from Cassia.
"This whole floor is her domain. Wherever I go, I will keep running into her," Aaron replied.
"Unless I go down to the floor, she might not find me," Aaron explained.
Cassia smiled, the soothing atmosphere of the tropical forest was much better than the hot desert. Aaron turned around and asked directly why Cassia was holding him back.
"Among other mages, you are a potential candidate for the title of Dark Ruler," Cassia said.
"The Dark Pillar Tower needs a leader who can guard and control this place. I can't do it myself," Cassia replied.
"So, you actually agree that I should become a Dark Ruler?" Aaron asked.
"That depends on your decision. After all, you haven't told me your decision yet," Cassia said.
"I don't want you to ignore me. You have the most potential to become a mage with the title of Dark Ruler," Cassia replied.
Aaron was silent. It was true that he hadn't given his answer to Cassia, but that was because Cassia had given Aaron a dilemma.
According to Cassia, becoming a Dark Ruler means sacrificing many things. That's because rulers like the Dark Ruler can't interact normally with other mages.
"If you have made up your mind to become the ruler of this place, then I will open a bridge of light for you," Cassia replied.
"With that bridge, you can arrive at the Throne of Heaven easily and quickly," Cassia said.
Aaron was silent for a moment, then cleared his throat in agreement with what Cassia said. He stepped out of the gazebo, his attention drawn to the fish pond in the vicinity, full of fish of various colors.
"Hmm."
"Becoming Dark Ruler is my dream, because then I can get out of this place," said Aaron.
"But I don't know if being a ruler means having to limit my interactions with other mages," Aaron replied softly.
"So, what is your decision?" Cassia asked.
Aaron was silent for a moment, then thought about all the possibilities that could happen. He was silent for a long time, finally expressing what he wanted.
"I will stick with my decision," Aaron replied.
"What is it?" Cassia asked, stopping her drinking.
"To become a Dark Ruler."
