"What?" asked Eloise, startled.

From the direction of her eyes, she saw Lewis' body begin to glow a golden color. When Eloise walked up to him, her lithe and graceful hands could not touch him at all, as if he was a hologram.

"The Dark Ruler entity cannot be imitated with a similar form. I have to go back," Lewis replied.

On the 99th floor, Cassia felt a strong magical turmoil that was felt throughout the entire floor of the Dark Pillar Tower.

The trees seemed to bow their branches, the wind stopped blowing, the wild monsters stopped acting aggressively.

"Welcome. This is the first time in hundreds of years that I've seen you come together to this place," Cassia replied.

"What's going on? We sense a familiar magical turmoil throughout the Dark Pillar Tower area," asked the Great Lady Kitsune.

"I had expected that you would notice it."

"The Dark Ruler will be reborn soon. There is a mage who managed to reach the 100th floor," Cassia explained.

The five officials from each race gasped in shock, looking at each other with puzzled faces.

"Does that mean he's going to lead us?" asked Grand Knight Valkyrie.

"Unfortunately so. His appearance will change the Dark Pillar Tower system. I suspect that will be the case," Cassia replied.

Elder Nymph tried to fly close to the sky island, but she failed after crashing into the barrier field created naturally by the island. Only those authorized by Cassia as the ruler of the 99th floor could enter.

"Then what can we do?" asked Elder Nymph.

Cassia was still waiting. She raised her beautiful garden on the sky island while waiting for the Dark Ruler's ascension procession to end. Occasionally, she busied herself with drinking tea and feeding the fish in the pond.
