He worried Zhu Zishan wasn’t in the stranger’s hands, and if he did as told, he’d be the fool.

"She’s fine," the stranger said coldly.

"I want to confirm she’s still alive!" Luo Yang insisted.

Footsteps could be heard, suggesting the stranger was moving.

Half a minute later, it seemed like she entered a room.

Luo Yang then heard Zhu Zishan’s terrified voice over the phone.

"Niu Zai! Help me!" Zhu Zishan cried in a trembling voice.

"Sister Zhu, don’t be afraid. I’m here," Luo Yang comforted.

Then the stranger spoke again.

"You’ve heard her. You know what to do next. Come alone! If we find out you brought someone with you, she’s dead!" the stranger warned.

"Whatever you want, we can talk. But if you harm her, even if I have to chase you to the ends of the Earth, I’ll kill you!" Luo Yang said fiercely.

Ending the call, Luo Yang immediately phoned Gu Xue.

An Yuying and the other beauties might still be at the resort or maybe back at the hotel room.

If An Yuying and Tang Guihua saw Luo Yang and Qin Piao together, the two village beauties would certainly ask questions, forcing Luo Yang to explain much.

Therefore, taking Qin Piao to the three Gu sisters would save a lot of trouble.

Once on the call, Luo Yang started, "I’m taking Sister Piao to your place now. Where are you? Sister Piao is right beside me."

He said this as a prompt for Gu Xue not to say anything too private.

Bidding farewell to the three Gu sisters and Qin Piao, he drove straight to Century Center.

Parking the car, he got out to look for the Land Rover the stranger mentioned, finding it at the southernmost part.

But this woman wasn’t the stranger Luo Yang spoke with on the phone.
