Chapter 1198: Chapter 538: Magical Dharma Freedom Bodhisattva, How to Dodge Classes and Tests Tasks

[The White Elephant Demon presents you with the Scriptures for you to peruse their contents...]

[The Scriptures record the legend of the ’Magical Dharma Freedom Bodhisattva’ attaining enlightenment, and they also include an Invoking Mantra...]

[...]

[Long ago in Bingzhou, there lived a virtuous woman, Ma Lang’s wife, who possessed extraordinary beauty and was in her twenty-fourth or twenty-fifth year. She wandered the city alone, entertaining young children, indulging in familiarity and offering her pillow. Ma Lang’s wife united with all in lust, and whoever she connected with would forever be severed from carnal desires.]

[After several years, Ma Lang’s wife died, and the people of the state mourned her passing. They pooled funds for her funeral arrangements, burying her with ceremony...]

[Suddenly, a Brahman Monk arrived from the west, sat down cross-legged at her grave, burnt incense with great reverence, and surrounded it in admiration for several days, proclaiming ’I seek my companion.’ When people saw this, they said to the monk, ’This woman was promiscuous, a wife to all, why do you respect her so?’ ]

[The monk replied, ’It is beyond what the donor knows. This is a great sage, full of compassion, joy, and generosity, indulging all worldly desires. This indeed is the Clavicle Bodhisattva, whose karmic connections are now complete, as the saints have said.’]

[The crowd did not believe him and opened the tomb to verify. Upon examining her entire skeleton, they found the bones joined together like a lock, just as the monk had said.]

[The Brahman Monk picked up the skeleton with his staff, ascended into the clouds, and departed to the west...]

[The general idea is that once, there was a ’Ma Lang’s wife’ in Bingzhou, who was very beautiful. She did not refuse intimacy with any man and promised that anyone who engaged with her would forever cease to suffer from carnal desires.]

[A few years after Ma Lang’s wife died, those who had been intimate with her grieved deeply and buried her.]

[There suddenly appeared a monk from the west who sat at the grave of Ma Lang’s wife, burned incense, and stayed for several days without leaving, expressing his desire to find a companion who shared his ideals.]

[Upon seeing this, some people asked the monk why he showed such great respect to a woman who had indulged so much in her desires.]

[The monk explained that she was not what the donor imagined, but a saint of the Buddha possessing great compassion. Ma Lang’s wife enjoyed giving, and could accommodate and guide the diverse desires and needs of worldly people with a vast heart of tolerance.]

[Ma Lang’s wife was the ’Clavicle Bodhisattva’, who had completed her mission to educate beings in the mortal world, and all favorable conditions had now reached a perfect stage. This is what the saints of the Buddha declare.]

[The people did not believe this and excavated the grave to examine the body. Ma Lang’s wife’s skeletal remains indeed had bones interlocked like a lock, as the monk had described, truly the ’Clavicle Bodhisattva’.]

[The monk lifted the ’Ma Lang’s wife’ skeleton with his zen staff, proving his point and departed to the west...]

[According to the annotations in the Scriptures, Ma Lang’s wife’s title of ’Clavicle Bodhisattva’ is not her actual title; her true title is ’Magical Dharma Freedom Bodhisattva’, and the monk is an incarnation of ’Buddha Kasyapa’ descended to earth.]

[After the Magical Dharma Freedom Bodhisattva attained enlightenment, she became the Adjacent Servant beside Buddha Kasyapa...]

[The conclusion of the Scriptures is an Invoking Mantra, and it is noted that the ’Magical Dharma Freedom Bodhisattva’ would often descend to show saint after enlightenment, to embody generosity towards those with great sexual desires and guide the rooting out of the afflictions and desires of the faithful disciples.]

After reading the Scriptures, Lin Xun couldn’t help but retort, "What is this, a communal bus?"

Having found the method that allows the Magical Dharma Freedom Bodhisattva to descend willingly, the next step in the plan can commence.

[You are given 12 hours to accept the testing mission, but instead of proceeding immediately, you inquire with the ’Librarian’...]

[If the testing mission is part of a scenario, then what if the Monster leaves the scenario’s bounds before the test begins and has not returned by the time it starts?]

[The Librarian adjusts his monocle and responds, ’Apostle, there are no loopholes for cheating.’]

[Even though no one can enter or exit the scenario during the test, if an enemy leaves the area before the test, they will be forcibly transported back into the scenario when it officially starts.]

[If you think you can lure Buddha Kasyapa down and then initiate the testing mission to sneak in ahead of time... you’re thinking too much.]

[After nodding in understanding, you bid farewell to the ’Librarian’ and the White Elephant Demon and return to the main hall of the temple.]

[The White Elephant Demon, looking at the toweringly beautiful Bodhisattva Statue, declares righteously, ’Little brother, it is my inescapable duty. Let the eldest brother invoke the deity, I guarantee that we’ll make this Bodhisattva submit!’]

The Free Temple is the Fragrant Fire Dojo of the ’Magical Dharma Freedom Bodhisattva’, but ordinary temples do not merely enshrine a single Buddha. This is especially true for Adjacent Servants like the Magical Dharma Freedom Bodhisattva.

Ordinary temples may place ’Saigandada Day’ in the Heavenly King Hall at the entrance, and some large temples, even if they mainly enshrine another Buddha, will also have statues of the Three Buddhas in side halls.

A deity like Vajra Haemother, who is a bright consort, needs to be worshipped in the main hall along with the main deity ’Awakened Vajra Bowl’.

Since the Magical Dharma Freedom Bodhisattva is an Adjacent Servant of Kasyapa Buddha, there is no need to place a statue of Kasyapa Buddha in the main hall, but it should be set up in a side hall.

Although this may spread the offerings thin, it also indicates that the main deity of the hall is backed by others, being under the protection of a great Buddha.

However, there are countless temples with the Great Dharmapala of Buddhism ’Saigandada Day’ and statues of the Three Buddhas. These Buddhas are omnipotent and manage myriad affairs; they cannot oversee so many charges all at once.

As long as one does not provoke them, such as by slaughtering every disciple in the whole city and causing these great Buddhas to receive less incense offerings and thus notice, they will not interfere.

[Seeing you agree, the White Elephant Demon arranges a series of ritualistic Buddhist instruments like burning incense and Buddha Flags, reciting the Invoking Mantra...] 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

[You gaze upwards, through the main hall’s dome, waiting for the ’Magical Dharma Freedom Bodhisattva’ to descend and show saint...]
