Chapter 717: Chapter 717: Just Took a Liking to Her

Her gaze swept toward Ryan Walyon, and she desperately wanted to argue her case.

But, the moment she met his eyes and saw the indifference in them, the words Ariella Sawyer wanted to speak were forcibly swallowed back.

"Ah, I feel so dizzy, my whole body hurts, so tired." Falling back onto the bed, she rolled her eyes and closed them again.

"Hey!" Summer Sutton still wanted to show concern for her condition but didn’t expect her to fall asleep again just like that.

She patted her cheeks repeatedly, trying to wake her up. Ariella squinted at her and gave a wink.

Summer Sutton paused for a few seconds, immediately realizing what was going on.

If she’s capable of giving hints, her mind is clear, so she should be fine, right?

Summer Sutton was thoroughly relieved now.

Without having to worry about Ariella’s condition, there was no need for her to stay there.

It was so late; under usual circumstances, she would have gone home already.

"Jimmy, I leave Little Ariella to you, I’m heading back first!" Throwing a sentence at Ryan Walyon, Summer Sutton climbed out of the car and hurriedly walked towards the recording site exit with her phone.

She called Adrian Walyon while walking, "Adrian, I’m done for the day, has your car arrived?"

Ryan Walyon’s face looked a bit grim.

When his gaze swept over Ariella Sawyer, his expression turned darker, like the bottom of a pot.

Ariella has her own assistant, and there are so many staff members on site.

Ryan Walyon wasn’t in any kind of relationship with her, why would he stay to take care of her?

Ryan Walyon was never one to meddle in other people’s business. After Summer Sutton left, he slammed the car door shut and also left the scene.

He left a message with Ariella’s assistant, "If Miss Sawyer is fine tomorrow, proceed with the promotional photos as usual."

"Okay, okay, thank you, Mr. Walyon!" The assistant bowed deeply as she saw him off.

Ariella opened her eyes slowly only after he had walked far away.

She squinted toward the outside of the site, suddenly recalling the image of Ryan Walyon appearing when she was dying in the valley.

Thinking about it, her face involuntarily flushed a little.

"You heard it too, we’re going to the promotional photos tomorrow, right?" The assistant opened the car door and asked her.

"Of course we’re going! Why wouldn’t we accept such a great endorsement?" Ariella quickly sat up from the chair, took off the snow-soaked coat, switched to a warmer one, and instructed the assistant to start the car.

...

Ariella Sawyer was actually a bit intimidated by Ryan Walyon.

After causing him so much trouble yesterday and being directly criticized by him for her weight, she didn’t even have the guts to see him.

However, the endorsement from the Walyon Clan isn’t something an ordinary celebrity can easily get. Since Ryan Walyon had mentioned it, Ariella Sawyer had no reason not to come.

Even if she didn’t come, her agent would probably find a way to drag her here with a little whip.

Somehow, the incident with Ryan Walyon yesterday made its way to the Walyon Clan Group.

After yesterday, the relationship between Ariella Sawyer and Ryan Walyon instantly became that of a benefactor and a kept woman.

Walking through the Walyon Clan Tower, there were plenty of employees watching her, whispering among themselves, "Look, isn’t this Ariella Sawyer?"

"There are plenty of actresses, why did Mr. Walyon pick her?"

"Yeah, I wouldn’t say she’s all that great. Looks-wise, she can’t compare to Lorraine Hughes, and her figure, it’s just so-so. Isn’t it all about these two aspects when men look at women?"

"Who knows? Maybe Mr. Walyon just likes this type."

Ariella Sawyer walked through the crowd, hearing their conversation fully, feeling awkward as if she had a knot twisted in her stomach.
