Chapter 739: Chapter 739: Make Him Unable to Return

"Wait for me at home!" He tossed her a line and leaned down to kiss her heavily on the lips before striding downstairs.

Summer Sutton wanted to stop him, but when she walked out, Adrian Walyon’s figure was already gone from the corridor.

It was snowing outside, and now it was early morning. Summer had casually mentioned it, but Adrian took it seriously to heart.

Standing on the balcony, watching him disappear into the night, Summer felt particularly uneasy.

Taking out her phone, she called Adrian, "Adrian, why not stay home and cook something simple."

When Summer had just said that, she truly forgot about the distance issue.

It was late, making him drive so far, she would feel distressed.

Adrian chuckled, casually dismissing her concern, "No worries, I’ll be back soon."

He comforted her with a line and directly hung up the phone.

Summer really wanted to call again but was afraid of distracting him from driving.

Standing in the garden, Summer stared at the snow-covered road, feeling inexplicably uneasy.

After Adrian walked out the Walyon Family gate, he got directly into the car.

As the car started, a figure happened to exit one of the villas in the Walyon Family.

Watching him go out so late, the person upstairs flashed a hint of viciousness in their gaze...

...

Summer paced back and forth in the villa; her mind never settled after Adrian left.

Last time the child had an incident, Adrian nearly had a car accident driving back at night. Now it was late, snowing, and the ground was slippery. Summer didn’t know if it was because she might be pregnant and became sensitive; her mind was flooded with thoughts.

She even had the impulse to rush out and call him back.

But Adrian had been gone for a while, and Summer probably wouldn’t catch up.

Calling him back, he absolutely wouldn’t listen.

Summer had no choice but to continue waiting at home.

Half an hour after Adrian left, Summer called him.

At that moment, Adrian had just left the store.

"Babe, I bought the things, heading back now." Thinking Summer couldn’t wait, Adrian comforted her before getting into the car.

Summer felt a pang of sourness, and before he started the car, she reminded him, "I called just to tell you to drive carefully, I’m not in a hurry."

Adrian paused, smiled lightly with his lips curled.

"Alright, got it, hanging up now, I’ll be home soon." He hung up the phone and tossed it aside, slowly starting the car.

On a snowy night, in the dead of night, there were hardly any cars on the street.

Adrian’s drive back was smooth and unobstructed.

Afraid the wontons would get cold and taste bad, or that Summer would be uncomfortable from hunger, he sped up the car.

The journey ahead was going well.

However, halfway through, suddenly out of nowhere a large truck carrying sand and stone came barreling down, and as it was about to collide with Adrian’s car, the truck tilted, pressing directly towards Adrian’s car.

Adrian’s car was a sports car, light and nimble, but colliding with a large truck, the body was crushed, and he wouldn’t escape.

The opposite car dashed out too suddenly, without a single warning.

As the falling truck was about to crush him, Adrian’s gaze locked tightly on the diagonal front, suddenly stomping on the accelerator, a beam of light escaping from under the car just before the truck fell...

Bang!

The road echoed with a huge crash, the truck slammed into the ground, and everything on it spilled out...
