Secret Marriage, High-Profile Pampering!-Chapter 784: Separate Rooms Tonight
Summer Sutton currently shows no signs, except for occasional nausea; otherwise, she feels just like before.
The days of waiting are still quite long.
The next day Summer Sutton arrived at the office a bit early and unexpectedly found Ariella Sawyer there too.
Her eye bags were terribly swollen, looking as if she hadn’t slept well last night. After arriving, she found a chair, sat down, and held her head without saying a word.
"What’s wrong?" Summer asked, putting down the files she was organizing.
Ariella seemed to be thinking hard about something, but then shook her head.
"Impossible!" she muttered to herself, pounding her head in frustration.
"What’s impossible?" Summer asked, following her words.
Ariella looked up at her, her brows tightly knitted. "I dreamt last night that Ryan Walyon took me home. It was the whole night. How could that be possible?"
She and Ryan Walyon had no such relationship whatsoever.
Ariella thought she must have drunk too much, or perhaps was daydreaming about him.
She pondered for a while, shook her head, and stood up to get herself a cup of coffee to clear her head. From behind, Summer’s voice suddenly came, "He actually did take you home last night!"
Ariella froze, turned sideways, and looked at her in disbelief, as if stunned by her words.
"Go do your work! Put on some makeup, you look terrible," Summer reminded her, then buried herself in her day’s work.
Stiffly, Ariella walked out of the office, her mind somewhat adrift.
Ryan Walyon actually took her home!
Why?
...
During the day, Summer Sutton worked at the office, and after work, she and Adrian Walyon went to the amusement park.
The cutesy Summer Amusement Park, with a name that sounds full of love, is already well-known this year even before summer comes, as everyone knows that Adrian created this park for the Walyon Family’s little princess.
Apart from the Walyon family, many unrelated media outlets, netizens, and domestic followers of the Walyon family have also begun to anticipate the arrival of the Walyon family’s little princess.
Summer Sutton feels a bit pressured with this pregnancy, mainly because Adrian has high expectations for the child.
Moreover, considering the few near-accidents with the previous child, Summer can’t imagine the blow Adrian would suffer if anything happened later in this pregnancy.
Taking this into account, she has become particularly cautious lately.
So cautious that, even while sleeping at night, she worried that Adrian might accidentally press on her and harm the baby and had even considered sleeping in separate rooms.
Upon returning home, before bed, after taking a bath, Summer looked at Adrian blow-drying his hair and cautiously suggested, "Adrian, I want to sleep in the guest room tonight."
Adrian paused and looked at her sideways, "Why?"
"You see, I’m not even three months in yet. The doctor said it’s still a critical period. When we sleep together, you often can’t sleep, right?" Summer carefully looked at him, analyzing together.
"And then?" Adrian didn’t show much emotion from her words.
"I’m already over a month in; just another month until three months. For the remaining time, how about I sleep in a separate room? I’ve thought it through, and this decision is good for both of us; you won’t have to lie next to me every day, enduring so much, and I won’t have to worry about you accidentally hurting the baby." Summer took a deep breath and expressed all her thoughts.
