Fu Shihan listened to the silence on the other end of the phone and flipped through his schedule for today.
Normally, it would be highly unlikely for Su Wanxin to initiate a conversation with Chen Lei about her identity.
"What’s happened?" He asked Chen Lei in a low voice, pausing for a moment after getting the answer. "I’m free after four this afternoon, let’s talk in detail then."
"Okay."
After hanging up the phone, Fu Shihan asked his secretary to cancel his appointments after four o’clock and sent someone to dig into Alex’s background before he continued with his busy schedule.
Su Wanxin had a busy morning and after having lunch, she leaned back in her chair and thought things over.
She wasn’t worried about Alex exposing her identity, and she felt that Alex wouldn’t reveal her identity so quickly.
Firstly, he couldn’t be one hundred percent certain of her identity without evidence. Secondly, he might have other moves to make.
Intuition told Su Wanxin that this matter couldn’t possibly be so simple.
The small company that had heavily bought Su Family’s stocks in the secondary market had been thoroughly investigated by her, just as Chen Lei had said, the boss was previously a garage owner, a Hua Country national, and would not possibly have any connections with Alex.
Therefore, the fact that these two people could come together now was a big issue.
While she was deep in thought, she received a message from Zhong Xian.

It was time for her to go for her psychological therapy session with Zhong Xian.
Su Wanxin sighed, packed up her belongings, rested on the desk for a moment before sneaking out of the office.

The therapy session with Zhong Xian wasn’t as agonizing as Su Wanxin had imagined. The session, lasting over an hour, went by quickly, and Su Wanxin felt pretty good when she left.
She took a taxi back to the company and upon sitting down, Su Yan mentioned that Chen Lei was looking for her again.
"By the way," Su Yan looked at her suspiciously and asked, "Brother Lei came over just now and told us seriously to be nice to you, did you land a big deal or something?"
"Just... something like that."
Su Wanxin smiled and nodded, then stood up amidst Su Yan’s complex gaze and went to find Chen Lei.
Chen Lei wasn’t in his office, but was in the smoking area, deep in thought and looking downstairs.
At noon, he received quite a few calls from industry colleagues asking if he had left the Su Family.
It seemed that Alex had leaked the news in advance, and if it weren’t for Su Wanxin today, he would have definitely been driven away.

Su Wanxin said it jokingly and laughed at herself.
"President Fu is so great, how could you bear to break up with him back then?"
Chen Lei couldn’t comprehend, could there be someone better than Fu Shihan for a woman to marry?
"Who knows." Su Wanxin grinned. "There are plenty of fish in the sea, maybe the next one will be even better, right?"
