Shattered by Fate, Restored by Truth-Chapter 270 Happy Birthday
Chapter 270: Chapter 270 Happy Birthday
A few minutes later, he ran back, panting slightly, to where Fu Shihan was, fearing that Fu Shihan might have had second thoughts and left on his own.
Following Fu Shihan downstairs, they encountered Li Mo just returning from sunbathing outside. Seeing the two of them about to leave, she guessed that Su Wanxin must have woken up.
She lowered her eyelids, said nothing, and pretended not to see them, softly discussing dinner plans with the domestic workers behind her.
Fu Shihan was originally angry, raging at the thought of the suffering that Su Wanxin had endured. But then he thought of the hardships Li Mo had gone through over the years, and he couldn’t help but stop in his tracks.
"Mom."
He looked at Li Mo and spoke softly.
"Wanwan has been in a coma for a year and a half since the car accident; recovering might take some time. You once said she is more like your child than I am. What about now? Is she still like your child?"
Li Mo clenched her fists, silent, as Fu Shihan continued.
"If that psychologist of yours is any good, introduce them to me."
"What do you need him for?" Li Mo couldn’t help asking.
"Who knows," Fu Shihan said with a self-mocking smile. "I might need one myself someday."
After that, he left with Yangyang. On the way back, he reminded the person in the rear seat to be obedient upon meeting Su Wanxin.
Yangyang grudgingly nodded, thinking to himself that he had been so obedient, and yet they still hadn’t celebrated his birthday with him.
He was looking forward to celebrating his birthday with Su Wanxin, but what awaited him instead was both of their disappearances, and he was sent back to Grandpa’s house.
He hadn’t gotten into trouble or done anything wrong. Why did they send him away?
Yangyang couldn’t figure it out, but when he finally saw Su Wanxin, it seemed he understood.
"Mommy, are you sick?"
He stood cautiously next to Su Wanxin, stretching out his small hand to hug her, yet hesitating.
"Didn’t you eat properly? Why have you lost weight again?"
Su Wanxin smiled and held him close.
He felt so soft and cuddly in her arms; it brought her comfort.
"Happy birthday." Holding him tight, Su Wanxin kissed his cheek, speaking softly. "I’m sorry, Mommy had some things to do and couldn’t celebrate with you." ƒгeewebnovёl_com
Hearing this, Yangyang’s emotions suddenly couldn’t hold back.
He burst into tears, crying inconsolably into Su Wanxin’s chest.
"Mommy’s bad, it’s Daddy who corrupted you, right? Don’t be like Daddy, Daddy’s a baddie, you have to stay with me."
Fu Shihan frowned at his words but didn’t argue. However, when he saw Su Wanxin trying to soothe him by giving him something, he couldn’t help but step forward and snatch it away.
Yangyang watched in shock as the object was taken from his hands; he looked up blankly at Fu Shihan, hearing him ask, "How could you give this to him?"
It was Su Wanxin’s birthday gift to Yangyang, a jade piece she had carried since childhood, left to her by her parents.
Seeing Fu Shihan take away his gift, Yangyang broke down crying.
He jumped off Su Wanxin and onto the ground, tugging at Fu Shihan’s clothes and yelling, "Give it to me! You stink, Daddy, it’s for me from Mommy, not for you!"
Agitated and angry, seeing Fu Shihan’s cold gaze, Yangyang sat down and cried his heart out.
He wanted to grow up, to grow up fast!
"Just you wait till I grow up, I will take Mommy away and keep her from seeing you!"
Wiping his tears, he ranted at Fu Shihan.
"Mommy is mine, mine!!"
Fu Shihan’s gaze darkened upon hearing these words. He looked at the tantrum-throwing child on the ground, suppressing the urge to hit him.
This was his own child, and Su Wanxin was present, so he couldn’t beat him to death.
