Chapter 313: Chapter 313: Divorce Agreement, Signatures.
"You haven’t annoyed me, and I’m not throwing a tantrum. I’m just tired, and I don’t want to play house with you anymore."
Su Wanxin spoke calmly, sighing as though she was so exhausted that she hardly had the strength to speak.
Fu Shihan watched her in silence. Su Wanxin slowly walked over to the desk, opened a drawer, and took out a document.
"There shouldn’t be any issues, just review and sign it."
She tossed the document onto the desk. Fu Shihan stepped forward, and the words "Divorce Agreement" caught his eye; he clenched his fist then released it.
"So in your eyes, marriage is just a child’s play?"
"With someone else, no, but with you, yes. In my eyes, from the day I turned seven and came to your side, it’s been about playing a game with you."
Su Wanxin gave him a firm response.
"All these years, I’ve done everything exactly as you wished, but have you ever cared if I liked it? In your eyes, am I a person, or an interchangeable, replaceable toy? Have you ever really thought about it?"
After more than a decade with him, Su Wanxin knew exactly how to stab at his heart. Each of her words was like a sharp dagger, causing him to bleed profusely.
Su Wanxin laughed mockingly, gazing into his eyes as she spoke softly.
"You don’t really think that during these years I left, I haven’t slept with other men, do you? How can you be so naïve?"
When Fu Shihan heard this, his dim eyes changed.
He watched Su Wanxin casually pulling at her collar, revealing the obvious hickey on her neck, a sight that stung his eyes.
"I even rolled in the sheets with someone else last night, to tell you the truth, it felt much better than with you."
"Are you sure you know what you’re saying?" Fu Shihan asked in a low voice after a long silence.
"I couldn’t be more sure. I hate you, I hate your family. If given the choice, I would rather have died back then than have met you and spent these past years with you."
Su Wanxin tapped the document on the desk, urging him.
"Hurry up and don’t make me despise you. And don’t hold me up; I still have to go for hotpot."
"Is this the gift you’re giving me for returning from my business trip?" Fu Shihan chuckled, "What if I refuse to sign, what then?"
"I’ll die for you to see."
Su Wanxin’s voice was light, but each word carried weight.
Fu Shihan took a sharp breath, sensing she was serious.
She would rather die than to have any further connection with him.
He stared at her for a long time, then picked up a pen and wrote his name on the document.
He had written his name countless times in his life, but never was his hand shaking as it was now.
Su Wanxin looked pleased with his action and stepped forward to take a copy of the document. Fu Shihan stopped her, warning in a cold voice.
"Stay away from me. I’ll take the document back to review thoroughly. If there’s nothing wrong, I’ll have someone deliver it to you."
"What’s this? Are you, President Fu, afraid I’ll covet your wealth?"
"These things, who can be sure? Aren’t you enjoying the car I gave you?"
"...Right." Su Wanxin nodded, smiling. "Then you have a good look, I’m off to eat."
She turned and left, not looking back, and did not see the person behind her trying to grasp the hem of her clothes.
Fu Shihan’s hand hung stiff in the air as he watched the door open decisively and slam shut. He pounded his chest a couple of times, then looked at the document he had signed, picked it up, and tore it to shreds.
