Chapter 317: Chapter 317: Mu Su’s Intentions

Su Wanxin walked out of the restroom with a headache.

The alcohol she had consumed earlier was now fully kicking in. Her face flushed, her gaze blurry. Stepping out of the restroom and not seeing Mu Suyu waiting outside, she pouted unhappily and let out a soft hum.

Wanxin couldn’t remember the way she had come. Seeing a staircase nearby, she walked over and sat down, honestly waiting for Mu Suyu to come back for her.

The corridor was eerily quiet, making her feel a bit scared.

Wanxin leaned her head down on her knees, suddenly thinking of Fu Shihan, and the recent events.

The more she thought, the sadder and more wronged she felt, her tears falling uncontrollably like beads from a broken string.

Nobody wanted her.

She didn’t have a home or family anymore.

She was the Evil Star, she couldn’t be with Fu Shihan anymore. Even if one day her health improved, she couldn’t return to the past.

Unhappy, unwilling. But she couldn’t speak up, she could only pretend not to care.

She couldn’t let go... she couldn’t come to terms with it. She didn’t know how much longer she should keep pretending, but she knew she was truly exhausted, struggling to hold on.

If her return only brought misfortune to Fu Shihan, why did she come back?

She shouldn’t have come back, or rather, she shouldn’t be alive.

Fu Shihan stood in a corner nearby, watching her cry like a child, a trace of reluctance crossing the depths of his eyes.

His feet moved uncontrollably towards her, and from a higher standpoint, he spoke softly.

"Why are you crying?"

Hearing the voice, Wanxin slowly lifted her head. With tears blurring her vision, she looked at the person in front of her, sniffled, wiped her tears, then stared intently at him for a while.

Fu Shihan just let her stare, then after a moment, as she slowly lowered her head and buried it again, he spoke.

"You’re not Fu Shihan, Fu Shihan was driven away by me, he won’t come back."

She murmured softly, pretending she was dreaming.

Fu Shihan bit his lip upon hearing this. "You realize you made me angry?"

"Mm, I know," Wanxin replied obediently like a doll. When she drinks too much, she is always like this, quiet and compliant, which is why Fu Shihan always worried and never let her go to bars with others.

Her voice was tearful, her eyes red from crying, one could think she was the one faced with a divorce agreement that afternoon.

Fu Shihan watched her, feeling the pain in his heart slowly spread and lessen.

Gradually, he squatted down, eye to eye with her. Seeing how upset her tears made her, he began to regret again.

Was he a fool? Why was he angry with her?

"Is the alcohol good?"

Fu Shihan asked softly, Wanxin thought about his question seriously, nodded, then shook her head.

"Is it good or not?"

"Some are good, some are not, this bar is no good, mixing the good with the bad."

Fu Shihan was momentarily stunned, then laughed, unable to help it. "Do you know who owns this bar?"

"Hmm? I don’t know."

"Me."

Mu Su.

Mu, implying longing.

Su, implying Wanxin.

This bar was secretly opened by him during high school, unbeknownst to her or their families.

Initially, he just thought about creating a place for himself to hang out, never expecting the business to flourish and become one of Di City’s landmark nightlife spots.

He had checked today; the drinks she had been served were all priced in the quadruple digits. The cheapest bottle was two thousand six hundred, the most expensive thirty-two thousand. Even with such spending standards, she still complained about mixed quality, leaving Fu Shihan speechless.
