She's Raymond's Woman-Chapter 78: The Unwanted Confession

Raymond stared, eyes widened at Candy, the gunshot sound penetrating into his ears...he immediately diverted it off her going towards Alex who had landed on the cold floor giving up the ghost. His forehead showing the hole where the bullet penetrated into.

His shocked expression came to fade away as something mischievous flashed through his eyes...a hidden smile came to play on his face when he returned his eyes towards Candy.

How? How come? How was she able to handle the gun? These were the thoughts going through his mindset as he starred at Candy.

The gun fell off her hand as it landed on the floor making a click sound.

She moved her eyes off Alex looking towards Raymond, their eyes came to Lock...Hot tears flooded down her eyes, making Raymond take closer steps towards her.

"Is...is it over?" These were the questions she threw at him... Raymond gave out a slight nod smiling at her.

"I’m pr..." He made to respond but Candy beat him to it.

"That’s a relief" She smiled...her eyelids slowly closed. She was about to land on the floor but he was quick to catch her.

He lowered his gaze on her face as he diverted it to Alex’s dead body then back to Candy.

"She really got the shock of her life today" With these words, he scooped her gently into his arms... leaving the Python cave immediately.

"Jose!"

"Jose!"

Julie called with so much haste running into the kitchen.

Jose, who was at the sink doing dishes, immediately wiped his hands with the napkin turning to her.

"Jose!" Julie walked closer to him breathing so heavily.

"What’s wrong?" Jose asked, looking down at her face.

"I...I..."Julie trailed off trying so hard to catch her breaths as she slowly took in her lips licking it.

Jose’s eyes didn’t escape that action from her; he immediately felt the need to taste her lips that immediate time.

Without warning he cupped her face bringing his lips closer to hers in other to kiss her...but in the momentum of the time whereby their lips were about to connect... Julie pulled away immediately, knocking his head.

"Gosh Julie!" He snapped frowning at once... he made to resume where he stopped but Julie never allowed instead she knocked his head.

"Get it together Jose, the clan is on fire and all that’s in your head right now is kiss" Julie scolded him.

"Fire! Fire where? Where? Which part?" Jose asked, eyes widened, diverting it to and from.

Julie rolled her eyes scoffing.

"Listen... listen...I got news" She said with so much determination in her eyes.

"News? Bring it on my radio without battery" Jose said, making Julie roll her eyes clearing her throat.

"Guess what? Alex Candy’s father is dead" She breaks the news to him making Jose cover his mouth surprised.

"How?" He asked.

"He was shot," she replied.

"By whom? Is it boss?" He asked.

"It’s Candy...Candy killed him" Julie replied, making Jose jump in terror and so much shock.

"Can...Can...Can... what?" He finds himself stuttering.

"Candy" Julie completed the words for him.

"Oh my goodness...what happened?" He asked_Julie looked around as she got closer to him.

As the News broadcaster she is...she went ahead to broadcast the rest of the News to him.

"This News is so legit...OMG!" Jose finds himself gasping in so much shock.

TWO DAYS LATER-

Diana entered the room shutting the door with a bang which woke the sleeping Rose.

Rose has been indoors sleeping and crying, her eyes are all puffy.

"Fuck it Diana!" She cursed sitting up.

"That fucking bitch has killed her own father" Diana cursed.

"Who?" Rose asked.

"Your friend Candy of course" Hearing Candy’s name...Rose immediately remembered Stone.

"What? She did what?" She asked, eyes widened.

"She shot him...who even taught her how to shoot a gun?" Diana asked clenching her fist tight...her plan of getting rid of Candy through Alex is all shattered now.

"Did I teach her how to handle a gun...for her to kill her own father?" Rose shook her head.

"But why would she kill her own father?" She added.

"You taught her how to shoot a gun? Fuck you Rose! That bitch is not only a lover snatcher but she is also a killer and a beast..." Diana cursed with so much hatred.

"Stone rejected me because of her...now I’m feeling some kind of hatred towards her!" Rose cried covering her face with her palm...her heart is wrecking so much in pain. She loved Stone so much.

"Candy is a witch...there is no doubt about that... someone who was able to make boss fall in love with her...she is a damn witch!" Diana cursed.

"Do you know what?" She added.

"What!" Rose snapped.

"You want Stone right?" Diana asked.

"Of course I fucking wants him so bad" Rose cried.

"Me too, I want Raymond... I’m so much in love with him...this is the plan... let’s get rid of Candy together Rose" Diana said, making Rose cry to die down as she looked at her face.

"What?"

ONE WEEK LATER-

"Mom, how are you?" Candy asked so ever gently as she dropped the flowers she came with beside her mother’s gravestone. Raymond too dropped his.

They were both dressed in black attire.

"Hope you’re doing good over there? I’m doing fine also" She said smiling but Sadness was visible in her eyes. Raymond just stood quietly beside her.

"Guess what mom? The evil man is dead...the man that sent you on an early grave is gone...I killed him mom... I wished I find out sooner I could have killed him earlier mom, I’m sorry for taking late vengeance for you Mom...I’m so... sorry" Her voice cracked, a drop of tear felled down her eyes but she immediately cleaned it smiling as she glanced towards Raymond who smiled at her so sadly.

"I came with someone today mom...Guess who it is?" She asked_ her eyes not leaving Raymond’s. Raymond slowly retracted his eyes off hers landing it at her mother’s grave.

"Hi Mother...My name is Raymond Monster...your daughter’s boyfriend" Saying this he received a hit on the shoulder from Candy making him smile wide showcasing his white set of teeth.

"His Last name is weird right mom? Monster....but he is the opposite of his name...he is such a sweet soul mom" Candy smiled as she looked at Raymond, their eyes locking... Raymond moved closer to her as he snaked his hand around her waist.

Candy’s smile widened... their eyes still locked.

"He is my boyfriend...my happy pill" Candy muttered out... Raymond felt like ruffling his hair in so much excitement...he wanted to claim her lips and kiss her so hard but he retracted the Thought off his head because they are before the grave of the mother of the woman who has captured his heart so much.

He smiled, breaking their intense eye contact as he moved it closer to the grave.

"Mother I promise to take care of your daughter...no harm will befall her again...her pains will be my pains...i just want your blessings..." He trailed off, returning his eyes back to Candy’s eyes... whose eyes were filled with so much emotion.

He moved his hands and slowly tucked her hair behind her ears.

"Because I wish to spend the rest of my life with her"He completed his words making Candy move into his arms hugging him up.

DAYS LATER-

"Cheers!" Candy and Stone clicked their bottles of beer together.

Candy decided to make up with him in fact she missed their friendly moments together and chats...she felt so bad the other day she yelled and avoided him.

"I’m sorry for avoiding and yelling at you" She apologized while sipping from her bottle of beer.

Stone smiled, sipping from his own.

"It’s fine...I’m happy that we are back together...I missed my drinking buddy" He said, staring so lovely at her.

Candy scoffed, rolling her eyes.

"Why are you looking at me like that? She asked.

"Cos you’re so beautiful... Candy" He gently called looking into her golden eyes.

Candy scoffed playfully.

"I’m sorry for all that has happened to you...I know you’re scared of this clan...it doesn’t suit you and you don’t belong here Candy...infact I don’t mind quitting everything for you candy...for us" He said...Candy creased her brows confused.

"What are you talking about?" She asked.

Stone moved his hand and placed it on hers.

"Let’s run away from here together candy...I promise to give you that perfect life you ever wished for...I..."

"What? Why? Why are you saying all this Stone? Are you drunk already?" Candy asked, chuckling up as she slowly retracted her hand off his feeling somehow uncomfortable.

Stone moved again and placed his hand on hers making Candy to blink.

"I like you Candy...no it’s not like...I’m so much in love with you... infact..."

"What’s going on here!" Stone’s rest of words were immediately interrupted by a deep masculine cold voice sounding from behind.

Candy and Stone both snapped their eyes towards the direction of the voice.

Gasps escaped Candy’s throat as she tried to retract her hand off Stone’s...but dude held her tight.

Her eyes gazed into Raymond’s own...but he wasn’t looking at her, his cold furious eyes were on Stone.

Before they knew it he started strolling towards them...his pace fast... getting closer to them.

"Get your fucking hand off her bastard!"

He leaned down grabbing Stone by the collar as he threw him against the wall.

Stone landed on the wall...his body trailed down to the floor with a loud thug.

"Do you want to die by my dagger, Knife or Gunshot? Answer me!"
