Sign In To The Body Of Chaos At The Start-Chapter 69: The Embrace of Destiny!
Chapter 69: The Embrace of Destiny!
The soft, melodic whisper echoed throughout the chamber and into Damon and Artemis’ ears as they stared at the Astronomanian Princess who was busy standing up.
The Princess was gorgeous, now that she had stood up, her voluptuous body was on full display for Damon. Surprising, she was only slightly shorter than Damon, being the 2nd tallest woman he had seen aside from his mother Sapphire. Her long, luscious purple hair landed on her shoulders.
The Princess waved her hand, a starry light illuminating the room and once the light disappeared, her previously bare body was now cloaked in tight fitting combat outfit, only adding to her charms.
The air within the chamber was thick with the remnants of ancient power, the very walls humming with an energy that resonated through Damon’s bones as she finished dressing herself.
"Thank you," she repeated, her voice a melodic whisper that echoed in the vast chamber. "For centuries, I have been bound here, trapped in darkness. You have given me freedom."
Damon, momentarily stunned by her ethereal beauty and the weight of her words, finally snapped back into action as he looked at the beauty before him, "What is your name? And do you remember anything before you were sealed here?"
Damon inquired, wondering to know just how much information the Astronomanian Princess had about the time before she was sealed.
Meanwhile Artemis, who had been gathering treasures from around the room, stood frozen, her heart pounding as she watched the interaction unfold. Her eyes narrowed slightly, a pang of jealousy gnawing at her as she saw the way the Princess looked at Damon.
Damon might not be able to see it, but Artemis, as a woman, could certainly see how the mysterious woman’s eyes tinged with possessiveness, desire, love, lust and many more romantic and erotic emotions all twirling within her eyes and her various light expressions.
"Oh forgive my manners, my name is Astralene Arianna Arfonia, Princess or I guess, former Princess of the Astronomanian Race, but for my saviour..." The mysterious Princess, whose name was now known, stepped forward, hugging Damon who stood in shock, her voluptuous breasts pressing against his chest as her head rested against where his heart would be before she continued speaking,
"My saviours here can call me Astra, only my most beloved ever had the opportunity to call me by my first name btw, handsome Demon man." Rachel spoke, chuckling.
In truth, Rachel certainly knew what it took to break her seal. According to what the Sovereigns had told her before they sealed her away, only a fated soulmate would be able to break her seal, and she was destined to be with him.
Now that she saw Damon, she had to admit it was true, compared to anyone else she had met back in her era, Damon was a tier above in terms of handsomeness, truly incredible, and his voice made her aroused by simply listening to it, he was perfect.
Meanwhile, as Damon felt the Princess hugging him, in that moment, he felt a strange connection to her, a bond forged in the depths of the universe itself.
"You’re... welcome, my name is Damon, and my partner here is Artemis." Damon managed to say, his voice steady despite the tumultuous emotions swirling within him. He could feel the power radiating from her, an ancient force that seemed to intertwine with his own Aether.
With a graceful movement, the Princess reached out, her delicate fingers brushing against Damon’s cheek. The touch sent a jolt of energy through him, and he felt an overwhelming surge of emotions—gratitude, relief, and something deeper, something primal that he couldn’t quite place.
"As for what happened before I was sealed, I remember most of it, how my race was massacred by the Abyss, me being the only survivor. The Sovereigns took care of me, but recognizing my plight, sealed me away awaiting a fated one to unseal me."
Astralene spoke, her words hung in the air, laden with a sorrow that seemed to echo through the ages. Damon felt a deep sympathy for her, even if he couldn’t directly understand her plight from experience, he knew how devastating loss can be.
Artemis, unable to remain silent any longer, stepped forward, her eyes filled with a mixture of curiosity and jealousy. "What will you do now that you’re free?" she asked, her voice laced with a subtle edge.
Astralene turned her gaze to Artemis, her eyes remaining firm as she looked at the fox-eared girl. "I will reclaim my place in the world, and repay the kindness of those who have freed me."
Damon could feel the tension between the two women, a silent battle of wills that played out in the space between them. He knew he had to keep the peace, to ensure that their journey continued without further conflict.
"We need to find a way out of here," Damon said, breaking the silence. "It’s no time to waste time discussion, do you have any faster methods to escape, Princess? Preferrably towards the Dragon Clan’s location."
Astralene nodded, her expression becoming more serious. "There’s a portal that was placed somewhere here, leading to a middle dimension that has exits we can take towards the Dragon Clan, but we must be swift. he Abyssal forces will not remain idle for long."
With a wave of her hand, Astralene summoned a shimmering portal, its surface rippling with an otherworldly energy. Damon felt a sense of urgency wash over him, the need to escape this island and return to a place of safety growing ever stronger.
"Let’s go," he said, taking a step towards the portal. He turned to Artemis, his eyes filled with determination. "Stay close to me. Even if this portal was 100% safe originally, we don’t know if it’s quality deteriorated over time, and something goes wrong."
Artemis nodded, her eyes still lingering on the Princess. She felt a strange mix of emotions—jealousy, admiration, and a fierce determination to prove herself. She wouldn’t let anyone, not even this mysterious Princess, overshadow her.
As they stepped through the portal, the world around them seemed to blur, the oppressive energy of the island fading into a soft, ethereal glow. They emerged in a vast, open field, the sky above a brilliant shade of blue, dotted with fluffy white clouds.
The contrast to the desolate, corrupted landscape of Starlight Island was stark, and for a moment, Damon felt a sense of relief wash over him.
"Where are we?" Artemis asked, her eyes wide with wonder as she looked around at the serene landscape.
"We are in the Fields of Eternia," Astralene replied, her voice filled with a sense of reverence. "A place where time itself stands still, and the forces of the universe converge. You’ll have much more experiences in unique dimensions like this in the future, but we can’t stay here for long, our path might destabilize and we might pop out 10,000 years in the future if we take too long."
Damon felt a shiver run down his spine at her words. The Fields of Eternia were a place of legend, a realm where the very fabric of reality was said to be thin, allowing glimpses into the past and future.
"Then lets get moving," Damon said, his voice firm. "We wouldn’t want anyone to take advantage of our supposed deaths, would we Artemis."
Artemis nodded at Damon’s words and they all continued onwards, following Astralene throughout the fields. Damon couldn’t help but feel a sense of beauty, the aura of time, space, and reality itself was distorted, yet simultaneously felt so peaceful and beautiful. The air was filled with the scent of blooming flowers, and the gentle hum of nature seemed to soothe his weary soul.
Artemis meanwhile ignored the beautiful landscape, to her, it was rather ugly after seeing Damon so enraptured by Astralene. Artemis’ eyes fixed on the Princess. She couldn’t shake the feeling of jealousy that gnawed at her, the fear that this mysterious Princess would steal Damon’s attention and affection.
"Damon," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Thank you for protecting me. I... I don’t know what I would have done without you."
Damon turned to her, his eyes softening as he saw the vulnerability in her gaze. "You’re stronger than you think, Artemis. Don’t let anyone decide your fate for you."
Artemis felt a warmth spread through her chest at his words, a sense of comfort that seemed to ease the jealousy that had been plaguing her. She knew that Damon cared for her, and that was enough for now.
________________
With their conversation momentarily set aside, the trio continued their journey through the Fields of Eternia. The landscape seemed to stretch endlessly before them, like a time loop, yet Astralene assured that they were getting closer and closer to the portal.
"How much farther to the Dragon Clan’s location?" Damon asked, trying to gauge their progress.
Astralene glanced back, her expression a mix of determination and reassurance. "Not far now. We are nearing the convergence point where the dimension’s rift will allow us to transition to the Dragon Clan’s territory."
The path ahead seemed to open up into a more defined trail, flanked by towering crystalline structures that glowed with an inner light. The atmosphere was heavy with anticipation, and Damon could feel the shift in the energy around them.
Just as they rounded a bend, the serene landscape began to subtly shift. The flowers’ colors deepened, and the air grew warmer. They approached a majestic gateway formed from intertwining branches of luminescent silver and gold. It stood tall and elegant, radiating an aura of ancient power.
"This is the portal that will lead us to the Dragon Clan’s domain," Astralene announced, her voice filled with a mixture of hope and urgency. "Lets go, before the timestream messes up our exit point."
Damon and Artemis exchanged glances, their resolve firm. With one last look at the Fields of Eternia—a realm that seemed to offer endless possibilities yet remained fleeting in its nature—they prepared to step through the portal, promising themselves to return sometime in the future.
Damon took a deep breath, feeling the weight of their journey and the importance of the next steps. He offered a reassuring smile to Artemis, who returned it with a nod of determination.
Astralene stepped forward first, her hand reaching out to touch the shimmering surface of the portal. A ripple of energy danced across it, and the gateway’s colors intensified. Damon and Artemis followed closely behind her, stepping into the swirling vortex of light and energy.
As they passed through the portal, the world around them dissolved into a spectrum of shifting hues. For a moment, they were enveloped in a cocoon of iridescent brilliance, a sensation of being both everywhere and nowhere at once.
The disorienting rush was accompanied by a sense of motion, as though they were being pulled through the very threads of reality.
