SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS-Chapter 470 - 468: THE PAINFUL COMPARISON BETWEEN COUNTRIES
Chapter 470: Chapter 468: THE PAINFUL COMPARISON BETWEEN COUNTRIES
After the plane landed, Diamond and the rest of the passengers went through the customs and immigration process.
When all the documents were checked and everything approved, she sashayed away from the friendly officers, who kept on stealing peeks at her, making her all shy from the continuous looks.
Moving towards the terminal gate where the people picking her up were, Diamond kept glancing around, feeling amazed by how other countries take their time to build such amazing airports. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm
This was the biggest airport she had seen in her life. Even the Dielas International Airport wasn’t even half as the one at which she was.
She felt envious seeing all that. Even the number of airlines at the airport was many. Whether domestic or international. And yet when she compared it with her own country, the difference made her heartache.
The airport looked like a hypermarket if she were to put it on the same level as shops. There was everything under one roof.
Department stores, duty-free shops, restaurants, and two hotels.
She even spotted a gate leading to a train station. For passengers who don’t want to use cars, they can take the train to go to the city center.
There were several luxury airport buses, cabs, taxis, and other modes of transport waiting to take the passengers to their destined destinations.
For her though, she didn’t need such services, as the voucher came with an executive chauffeur who would be in charge of driving her wherever she wanted to go, plus a group of bodyguards to take care of her safety all the time.
That was another reason why she didn’t bother bringing her own apart from the fact that the hassle of getting visas and preparing all the necessary documents overwhelmed her.
Besides, her bodyguards’ strength right now didn’t seem to be that overpowering. She also wanted to be surrounded by handsome bodyguards and not fierce-looking.
Gesalsi was a country which emphasized greatly one’s beauty. Even the law enforcement, it wasn’t rare to come across some deadly handsome men who could even win modeling contests if they were to leave the job of serving the public.
Diamond was a lover of beauty. So why should she sabotage herself when she was being handed over to men and women to ogle for free?
Thinking about this wonderful team, Diamond’s pace increased.
As for the airport, she can envy and take a look at it later in the future. Right now, she was curious about the hotel where she was going.
When she looked it up online, she was amazed and satisfied by what she saw. But photos and real life sometimes tend to differ. She was very eager.
As she walked towards the gate, Diamond also admired the professional adverts literally everywhere. From billboards, moving pictures, adverts and many more. The young men and women looked pretty good to look at.
With their skin tone ranging from white and yellow to light brown. They were indeed a feast to the eyes. She was even more curious as to what kind of skin products they use and whether they would suit her or not.
Although she didn’t like using make-up most of the time, applying now and then didn’t seem to be anything bad.
After admiring the airport for a while, Diamond finally started seeing other people. Those who were waiting to pick up others stood behind the barricade and she even spotted several reporters.
’It seems that there is some celebrity arriving today!’ Diamond thought as she noticed the commotion.
Gesalsi was one of the countries which had taken over the globe by its music. Even someone like Diamond listened to some of it, though it wasn’t that obsessive.
Her local music still sounded the best, and she supported it. Nonetheless, seeing handsome men and cute ladies who can sing and dance, who couldn’t be tempted by that?
Her curiosity, though, was piqued, wondering who might be arriving but knowing that even if she saw the person or people, she wouldn’t be able to recognize them. She decided to faithfully find the people who were picking her up and go to the hotel.
She needed a good bath and a wonderful rest. She had been sitting on the damn planes for far too long.
Sorting her mind easily like that, Diamond narrowed her eyes as she started looking around the crowd.
{Mother, your people are on your left!} and Andrea once again came to the rescue.
Diamond smiled as she tapped the earbud in her right ear, muttering, "Thanks darling!" happy to have been saved once again.
{You are welcome!}
Knowing where to go, Diamond was no longer a headless chicken as she proudly walked over to that place.
As she approached, she couldn’t help but notice a banner with her name on it. Seeing it, a smile blossomed on her face as she increased her pace.
Standing with the banner was a well-dressed middle-aged man. Just looking at his dress, Diamond assumed he was the chauffeur. While the four lean and tall men standing behind him with shades on should be the bodyguards.
She just hoped that they were devilishly handsome.
After getting played by those twins, what she needed was a group of handsome guys to wash her eyes and forget that the twins ever existed.
On the other hand, the chauffeur holding the banner saw a beautiful lady approaching and, with the way she was smiling at him, he had an inkling that she might be the VVIP that they were her to pick.
And surely his intuition was spot on.
"Hello, you must be here to pick me up!" the beautiful lady fluently spoke in his vernacular language, startling him to the core.
he was just a chauffeur in other people’s eyes but they didn’t understand or know how hard it was to become such a chauffeur.
In order to drive the VVIP guests well, every chauffeur like him needed to know a minimum of two languages, and the universal language was included.
At least by knowing the language fluently, they would be able to interact better with the guests and serve them well. This way, in the future, when they think of Gesalsi, they will return to their hotels and establishments.
Among the many chauffeurs around, he was one of the few who knew five languages. Although he didn’t know the guest’s language, speaking to her in the universal language was the best option he was opting for.
But never in a million years did he expect the other to speak in his native language as if she was a local-born.
Just how did she do it?
