Chapter 502: Chapter 500: RECORDING SONGS 3

It would hurt her heart if she was forced to repeat it.

The producers looked at each other with wry smiles.

What was she talking about?

Wyatt, on the other side, stifled his laughter, thinking to himself, ’She is bragging. Just look at that smug smile on her face!’

"No, there is no need. This one is good!" the producer sincerely responded.

Diamond heaved a sigh of relief before beaming with happiness.

’Um. This is how we roll. I seem to have a talent for this!’

This was one of the few things that she had done seriously without pushing others. She felt really proud.

With one song done, the next song to be recorded was the second version of the song. Rather than singing all the songs first, they decided to do one song at a time and be done with it when the energy was still there.

After taking a few sips of water, Diamond started recording the next version of the same song.

When the song was finished, she exited the booth for a moment to listen to the two versions of the songs just to be sure if she wanted to keep them or change anything.

When she listened to the songs, Diamond felt very pleased with them. The system gave the songs, so what could be wrong?

Finding nothing wrong, the second session started. And just like the start, Diamond proved herself to these people. They were simply in awe.

By the time she was singing the third song, there were several more people in the studio. Although she didn’t know who they were, she minded her own business and continued to sing.

The last song she sang was a ballad, and it was very emotional. She wanted to sing that one last so that she wouldn’t be affected.

And when she started, the studio fell into momentary silence.

"In a cottage by the willows sway,

There lived a mother dear and bright, her laughter danced like morning rays,

And filled her children’s hearts with light."

The last song was a ballad about mother’s love for their children.

It was one of the few ballads she saw in the book of songs and it touched her a lot.

When she thought of the sacrifices her mother made for the family, she couldn’t help but want to share that with everyone.

She loved her father, and as soon as she started this song, she wanted to sing a song for her father as well.

She couldn’t have any favoritism. They both played an important role in her life and deserve to be thanked.

The ballad was over four minutes long and, in those minutes, those listening were all feeling emotional and their eyes teary.

Diamond sorted her emotions once the first version was done and continued with the second one.

When that was done, she raised her opinion regarding the father’s version.

When the producers heard that there was another song, they didn’t object.

Diamond hadn’t used a lot of time in her session, so adding another song didn’t matter. Besides, they get paid extra. So why not take it?

Diamond let them listen to the instrumental when she vanished to the restroom.

With her gone, the producers started talking with Iseul and the artist who had joined in on the fun after receiving a message to come and see.

"Are you sure that she had never sung before?"

"This is the first time that we are all seeing it. I thought that she knew nothing."

"She is a gem. Her voice is perfect and suitable for any genre. If she is serious about this path, she can make it big!" the producer regrettably said.

Iseul smiled as she understood why the producer was like that.

Diamond was so rich that she didn’t need to suffer walking down the path of a singer or an idol. She was doing this for fun and to know that such a talent belongs to someone passing by. They couldn’t help but find it a pity.

Wyatt, on the side, nodded happily, hearing his friend and idol getting praised like that.

Listening on the side was a young and handsome boy, belonging to one of the famous boy groups in the agency.

After listening to Diamond’s singing, he couldn’t help but have an epiphany.

"PD, do you think that I can ask her to do a duet with me?" suddenly he asked that loud as he looked at the senior producer.

The producer’s eyes sparkled when he heard that. He looked at the boy and replied, "It is possible and if she agrees, then the stage would be lit. But aren’t there a few days remaining till the concert?"

The boy replied, brushing aside the PD’s worry. "I believe that she can do it. Didn’t you see how she managed all the songs without any retakes?"

"That’s true, but now it will all depend on whether she wants to do it or not." That was another problem now.

Why will a rich young lady agree to perform on the stage just because a star feels like it?

"I will talk to her."

"No, I will talk to her about it when she is done with the last song!"

Without Diamond’s knowledge, a surprise was being cooked for her.

At that moment, she was in the Golden Space singing and practising the song she just added.

After doing so repeatedly, she drank some spiritual water and her throat was back to normal, as if it never suffered.

With the song deeply engraved in her mind, she left the restroom and returned to the studio.

When she arrived, she overheard the people in the studio discussing her.

Upon hearing the content, her eyes lit up as she found the idea very novel.

How could she let the chance pass?

With her back to the studio, the final song recording started.

It was another ballad, and this time it was for all the fathers.

She didn’t know about other people’s fathers but hers; he was a rock, a shield, and his family’s protector.

When the beat started, she also started engulfing the spectators in another turmoil of emotions.
