Chapter 737: Chapter 735: RADIANCE MANOR 5 freёnovelkiss-com

The next day, after having breakfast, Diamond decided to take a walk around the manor’s land and see if her plans were doable or needed some changes.

Hilary and a few employees tagged along.

The first place that Diamond was interested in was the front of the mountain, which was close to the secret base entrance as well as the first thing guests see when they enter through those gates.

"We can’t neglect the land just because the manor looks grand on its own!" Diamond said as she looked around with a frown on her face.

Upon hearing that, Hilary straightened his back and looked at Diamond humbly, asking, "Then what should we do with the land? I have been thinking that making a garden here would suffice, but then it would take ages before the flowers actually bloom and make the place representable!"

When Diamond heard Hilary’s response, she looked at him with a satisfied smile on her face and answered, a twinkle in her eyes. "I love where your thoughts are going. I want to have a garden made here and you don’t have to worry about other things. I happen to have special seeds which are resistant to any disastrous conditions. As long as those seeds are planted, I can guarantee you that this manor will become very famous!" she boasted as she patted her chest confidently.

The system always granted her good things and some of them she hadn’t even used yet. And she happened to have special seeds as well as soil. So, what if the land is very thin (infertile) and couldn’t be used for farming purposes?

She had the solution to that problem. So, there wasn’t any problem with going ahead with her plans.

When Hilary and the others heard that, they were very jovial and started speaking their minds about how they hoped the garden would look.

"If there are a variety of seeds, we can also separate them into different gardens and provide the guests with that variety."

"In the middle, why don’t we put a pavilion for the guests to admire the flowers when they are tired? It can become a hot spot in the future."

"I love that idea."

"We can plant some trees as well!"

Ideas kept on coming, and Diamond nodded as she jotted everything down mentally.

After hearing a string of ideas, Diamond looked at the enthusiastic employees and finally opened her mouth, "I heard all your ideas and suggestions. Let’s do it like this. When we are done with the tour, you go and draft designs. Whoever comes up with the best idea, we can use that."

And her words brought immense joy and a surge of thrill to everyone listening. Satisfying the boss was something that every employee always seeks and if they made her happy, then didn’t that mean being recognized and perhaps earning some bonus in the process?

Thinking about the many possibilities, the staff were happy and Diamond, seeing the glint of determination and competition flickering in their eyes, couldn’t wait to see what they would bring to the table.

Once the garden plans were brought up, they continued with the tour, and this time, they went to check the back of the mountain.

At the back, there was so much land which Diamond felt that it would be a waste if left alone like that.

As someone who was used to eating her own grown food ever since she got the Golden Space, she wanted her guests to eat homegrown food as well.

This matter of relying on suppliers all the time wasn’t a good concept. If something happens to that supplier one day, wouldn’t the manor be in trouble?

So, to her, having a farm and a ranch at the back sounded like the best thing that she could do to maximize the empty space. Besides, the benefits were quite a lot, so why not do it?

She shared her ideas with Hilary and the others. This time, she didn’t bother to ask for any ideas. She just outrightly spoke them out, and no one dared to oppose it.

"We shall have the vegetable gardens first and plant a variety of vegetables to provide for the guests," as she spread her hands gesturing for the piece of land she was talking about. She showed the staff where she wanted something done.

After showing that, she moved to the next area and designated it as farmland. On that piece of land, other crops would be planted as well. There was the matter of wells and boreholes. Water was essential for such projects, so that needed to be taken into consideration.

After the farm, the land was still plentiful. She designated some land for an orchard before designating the rest as the ranch.

She needed to keep poultry as well as any animal that could provide the manor with meat. Being self-sufficient was the best. She wanted to provide organic foods to the people and preserve their health.

Through her ideas, the staff who didn’t know her better began to grasp what kind of person she was and they didn’t dislike what they were seeing.

On their way back to the manor, Diamond didn’t forget to add something to Hilary the GM.

"I shall add three more people to the staff. One of them shall be in charge of the security. Everyone should listen to that person. Another shall be in charge of the manor’s accounts and lastly, one shall be in charge of the farming project. You just need to coordinate together and help those three to settle down as soon as possible," Diamond seriously told Hilary about that matter.

When it comes to finance, people are just human beings and could be tempted. She didn’t want to face a situation where she would be forced to either fire or report an employee to the authorities because of money.

So, in that case, she would rather have someone she trusted. And robots were trustworthy in her case. Especially when they were created by Andrea.

Andrea was programmed in a manner that he would always be wholly loyal to her. So, whatever AI or robots that he makes, they would follow the same path as well. She didn’t need to worry about them at all.

Of course, it would be great to trust people since she was a human being as well, but people were people. She would give them responsibilities that they could shoulder. The rest, they might as well leave it to others.
