Richard glared at Eric, puffing and huffing which made him look cute rather than scary.

"You ..... what are you doing?" he hissed a question, trying to keep his tone low but Eric simply smiled dotingly as he responded.

"I want to dance with the person that I love. Can’t I do so?" he seriously said, his brows rose in amusement.

"But ... you," Richard was exasperated as he tried to express his worries to the younger man. "Aren’t you afraid that by doing this, people would ...you know...."

Eric chuckled as he listened to that and pulled him closer to him, that way their bodies were literally stuck to each other.

That kind of bold move was simply too unexpected for Richard but he wasn’t the only one stunned by that move. Everyone who was interested in the couple gasped in shock.

Her desire to eat melons literally glued Diamond’s eyes to the couple, a bright smile on her face as her eyes sparkled with immense joy that the young ladies with her couldn’t help but be stunned.

"Sis, are you having fun?" Clarissa amusedly asked, seeing how her eyes were literally twinkling.

Diamond, turned her head with a smile to look at Clarissa and then Lisa who didn’t seem to have much interest in her brother but her.

"Um, I am having fun!" she cheerfully responded as she returned her gaze to the dancing pair that were stuck to each other.

She couldn’t help but wonder how Richard was faring with all the rubbing happening there. If it was her, she would be thinking about dragging the other party to bed and devouring him like never before.

Clarissa chuckled when she heard that. ’I am curious about the kind of man pursuing my cousin. Aren’t you as well, Lisa?"

Lisa upon hearing that jolted out of her reverie and looked at her brother who was melting in the arms of a man she had never seen before. She grinned slyly upon seeing that and nodded while saying, "I am curious but I bet that there will be others who are more curious than me," thinking about how wild her parents were going to be after hearing about all that.

Diamond didn’t want any man touching her body. Richard was an exception since he was her friend but the rest, she would rather sit down and drink, than rub bodies with them.

After dancing to two more songs, Richard no longer wanted to remain a spectacle, so he urged Eric to leave.

After they left, they joined Diamond and the others at the table where they were busy enjoying some drinks and snacks.

The moment that they returned; Diamond teased Richard so much that he was literally heating up with all the shyness. Diamond was so happy and mischievous that she showed others a side that they had never seen before.

Every beginning has an end. After hours of having fun, people connecting and networking, it was finally time for the banquet to come to an end.

As the host, Richard personally sent off his guests who weren’t disappointed by the banquet at all. His friends teased him a lot and Eric had to clench his jaws as he watched with a belly full of sourness at how they were interacting.

Diamond watched all that amusedly, finding Eric’s possession a bit too romantic. She was reminded about herself. When it comes to the men that she loves. Watching them with others was a bit difficult but one thing was for sure. No matter how much she loses, she can’t stop them from being with their friends. With the guests gone, Diamond participated in carrying the gifts to the awaiting cars.

When everything was settled, everyone boarded the cars with Diamond settling with Richard and Eric. Eric shamelessly tagged along. Since they were neighbors, Diamond interceded on behalf of Eric, wanting to enjoy some drama on the way back home.

As they headed back after midnight, Diamond on behalf of her friend began to do what every friend would do to help a friend who was being pursued.

"So, Eric how old are you?" Diamond asked seriously as she flicked her nails while fixating her gaze on the young man who had Richard and no one else in his eyes from the moment he sat with them in the car.

Eric reluctantly steered his gaze away from Richard and looked at Diamond who he finally learnt was not an ordinary being.

He could tell that Diamond was supporting him and since she was a friend that could influence Richard if he performs well. He might finally get the person he had been itching to get for a very long time.

Eric was taken aback when he heard that. He didn’t think that Diamond would be so carefree to share about her relationship when there was an outsider. "I own an investment company," that answer made both friends look at Eric in a new light. That was some serious business.

Eric felt confident seeing the reaction of the two. After all, these two weren’t paupers. They were rich. While sincerity could move hearts, stability was what everyone believed in nowadays.

Both Eric and Richard sat straight when they heard that. Diamond wasn’t playing when it came to this issue. They have seen that during her serious questions which made Eric feel as if he was facing his father. That man can be scary when he feels like it.

"Please, go ahead and ask!" he responded firmly though inwardly he was nervous. Who knows what was going to be asked?

Diamond smiled relievedly when she heard that. She looked at Richard and squinted her eyes playfully, wondering to herself how Richard would react once the question was asked.

A smile formed on her lips as she imagined how that would be in a few seconds.

Richard at seeing her smile, suddenly had a bad feeling but before he could open his mouth, Diamond was already asking Eric. "How much do you love my friend?"

Eric didn’t expect to get such a question but somehow, he felt relieved that she had asked him that.

Instead of looking at Diamond, he looked at Eric, the person in question.

Richard’s heart was pounding like a drum. He was nervous, anxious and was having all sorts of emotions after Diamond asked that question.
