Chapter 461: 461: Bing’er!

Di Lou, after spotting Tan Bingyu in the crowd, immediately chased after her. However, the difference in their strength is simply big. One is a Nascent soul Cultivator at a late stage and the other is only at Peak Innateness realm. Even though he tried his best to chase after her, he still lost her on the way.

After losing Tan Bingyu, Di Lou leans his hand on his knees while out of breath. Even though he tried to look around for the lady who looked similar to his mother around the street, he found nothing and was a bit frustrated.

"Damn! I tried my best to chase but still lost her! Shit!"

"Maybe I am seeing things. She didn’t look like my mother."

"Or just a bit... No, it seems to be an uncanny resemblance."

"So, are they related or not!?"

"I should have called out to her!"

Di Lou was talking to himself and didn’t notice that Tan Bingyu was in the sky looking down on him with a cold look. Her eyes turned even colder when she heard his words.

"I look like your mother, huh?" Tan Bingyu mumbles and suddenly makes an urgent letter which morphs into a small bird flying to the direction of the gates.

She stares at the green-white robes with leaf patterns at the edges of Di Lou’s clothes and instantly recognizes it.

She whispers, "Heavenly Medicine Sect. Is he talking about her?"

"Anyway, I need to look for the residence where my mistress had stayed and maybe she had left a letter for me or something..."

Tan Bingyu disappeared on the spot and had gone to the direction where the core region of the Heavenly City is. That is also where the formerly Heavenly Manor, now the Moon Goddess Shrine is located.

After she disappeared, the other three friends of Di Lou had arrived. It seems they chased after their friends for gossip especially Hou Wen who immediately looked trying to find someone beside his buddy.

Hou Wen said, "Where is she? Have you not found her?"

"Who are you talking about?" Di Lou asked as he looked surprised to see his friends here even chasing after him. "Have you gone crazy?"

"Tan Bingyu. Isn’t she supposed to be connected to you by blood?" Hou Wen said.

Di Lou frowned and said, "What are you talking about? How can Senior Sister Tan be connected to me? She is older than I am and she is surnamed Tan. My mother’s clan is Xue. The Snow Clan from the northern region. The Glacial City."

"But didn’t you say that you saw someone who looks like your mother?" Lin Chiru asked.

Wan Yuren added, "That one you pointed out just now was Junior Sister Tan Bingyu. This is the first time you meet her face to face."

Di Lou upon hearing the words of his friends finally realized the identity of the lady whom he had seen the resemblance of his mother into. He had never expected that this lady is none other than Tan Bingyu, the former Core Disciple of the Three Sword Peak’s Master, Guan Yueyi.

"She is Tan Bingyu. But I heard that she is the princess of the Hidden Tan Clan and... Is it her mother? Is her mother my sister?" Di Lou murmured that the shock on his face was undeniable.

Hou Wen said, "If that’s true then... Princess Tan is your niece?!! Wow~ that’s amazing."

"If you want to be sure you can buy information. I will do it for you. I have connections. I will inform you as soon as I get the answers," Lin Chiru said as he brought a familiar looking paper and wrote ’Tan Bingyu’s family detailed family background. Until her mother’s generation.’ Then the paper turned into a white bird flying towards the direction of the gates.

Di Lou said, "Thanks, Lin-ge!"

On the other hand, Tan Bingyu finally found the place where her mistress had lived in this heavenly city. The entrance of the manor was open wide for everyone as always. It would only be closed after the sun had set. Tan Bingyu checked the formation around the manor d noticed that this defensive formation had a part into with illusionary formation and it’s located at the bedroom where Yue Xuexia sleeps at night.

"It’s better to check it when the people are gone," mumbled Tan Bingyu as she disappeared from the gates of the manor leaving the guards on it dumbfounded for a moment.

The disciples on guard duties looked at one another with the same shocked and terrified expression on their faces.

"Bro~ don’t you think it’s too cold all of the sudden?"

"Oh my god! She just disappeared! Did you see it!?"

"Shit! I am wide awake now!"

"Is she a Yuanying Realm Senior?"

"Shss~ don’t talk anymore? Do you not want to live!"

This situation was reported to the elders of the sect especially the Heavenly Sword Sect who is on guard duty this week. As Tan Bingyu, she looked around the city which she hadn’t visited for years. She took her time walking around waiting for the sun to set.

Who would have thought that while she is looking for an inn to stay for a few days, she bumps into her old friends. Someone was suddenly calling her name.

"Sister Bingyu!?"

When Tan Bingyu turned around she saw Fu Lili together with Mo Jue and Qi Shiru. The lady is in tears while looking at her while the two gentlemen were surprised yet happy to see her as well. Fu Lili ran towards her and hugged her while the other two approached her.

"It’s really, Senior Sister Tan! I thought Fu-shijie is seeing things again," said Qi Shiru.

Mo Jue said, "Long time no see. You’ve changed a lot."

"It’s been a while. I’m glad to see you three well as always. How is Meiren doing?" Tan Bingyu asked while patting Fu Lili’s head.

Fu Lili answers, "Gua-shijie is alright. She is already as strong as Master. Sister Bingyu, what happened to your hair? Why did it turn completely white. Before it would only become this way if you are using your abilities."

"I have developed a special physique. It involved pure ice elements and my hair is proof that it awakened successfully. By the way, I heard that my mistress, Yue Xuexia, stayed in this city. Do you know where she went? I can’t feel her aura in this city anymore?" Tan Bingyu asked.

The moment that Tan Bingyu mentioned that she can feel someone’s aura within the city meant that her cultivation is higher than theirs especially since they can no longer see through her.

Mo Jue said, "It seems that you have gotten stronger. Much more than we had expected. Also, we don’t know where Lady Yue had gone. After killing the Evil Dragon that day and stopping the Beast Riot, she suddenly disappeared."

"Even the ancestor said that they didn’t know where she had gone too," said Qi Shiru.

Fu Lili said, "Sister Bingyu, are you going to return to the sect?"

Tan Bingyu smiled and shook her head. Then said, "No. My life had been saved by my mistress, Yue Xuexia. If not for her, I might not have survived after falling into a coma due to the backlash of my constitution. Since then I have made a vow to serve her all my life. Wherever she goes, I shall as well."

"But...!" Fu Lili stopped her words when Mo Jue held her back and shook his head at her. He is asking her to stop and no longer pursue this topic.

Qi Shiru said, "It’s been awhile.... If Tan-shijie is not busy, let’s eat at the usual restaurant. Even though it has been renovated, the menu is still the same."

"Good idea. Afterwards, let’s go meet the master," said Mo Jue.

Tan Bingyu nodded her head and agreed to their invitation for a meal. She smiles at the juniors of hers who are now grown up compared to the last thing she remembers about them.

"Alright. Let it be my treat then," said Tan Bingyu as their group headed to the restaurant in her memories.

After having an enjoyable feast, the group heads back to the Heavenly Sword Sect and heads to the Three Swords Peak. When they arrived, they saw their Master playing chess with their sect master who had been visiting here almost daily. Fu Lili had the most energy right now thanks to the arrival of Tan Bingyu.

Fu Lili shouted, "Master, look who we have brought over to see you!"

"You damn brats! You have the nerve to appear before this master right now. Didn’t you just skip the morning training.."

Peak Master Guan’s words halted when she saw the figure of the one she had been guilty of all her life. Tears fell from her eyes as she looked at Tan Bingyu. Even the Sect Master, Wan Yuren, was surprised himself.

"BING’ER!!!"

Before the others could react, Peak Master Guan Yueyi was already hugging her former disciple. The guilt in her heart made her whole being sad and in pain. She could only cry as she finally saw the disciple whom the sect made her abandon against her will.

Tan Bingyu hugged her master as well and said, "It’s been a while, Master. Uncle Master Wan."
