Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess-Chapter 692: Training
After breakfast, Yue Xuexia had brought the three with him to the place with purer qi. It was a mountain peak near the entrance of the new Ancient ruins which had now appeared in the Mortal Realm. Since this mountain was near the entrance of such runes, the qi in this place is purer and stronger than the ones in the other part of the Mortal Realm. Though the Exiled Star’s natural heaven and earth qi are slowly returning those at higher realm didn’t feel much change. To increase the possibility of reaching another realm, they can only find a place with a richer source of qi.
Among these places is the newly opened ruins, sadly this ruin only allowed cultivators at Nascent Soul (Yuanying) and above realm to enter. Moreover to be able to come out alive you need to be at least at Soul Transformation (Huashen) Realm. That’s why for cultivators below Yuanying Realm, they were forbidden to enter such a special place. So the only choice is to join a sect or a clan, but this also means you will be restricted.
This mountain was a spare one owned by the Dragon race and saved for the Moon Goddess. On the top of the mountain is a mansion prepared for Yue Xuexia to stay when she visits their race. Now she had brought with her, Xiao Muen, Han Haerin and Ru Yunlan, her action had obvious meaning of wanting to train these three people.
In a wide and open hall, Yue Xuexia asked the three to change their clothes into ancient robes she had prepared for them.

Just based on the words spoken by Yue Xuexia, the three realized that the exalted Moon Goddess was personally going to teach them cultivation. Xiao Muen was alright as he had longed to start cultivation. His main skill is sword cultivation which is the easiest to train but the hardest to increase a realm.
The artifacts that Han Haerin and Xiao Muen had received were too high level for their current realm and Yue Xuexia forbade them to use it until they reached the Nascent Soul Realm at least. So, Yue Xuexia had to check her system storage to find artifacts that fit the three of them.
Ru Yunlan asked, "Godmother, are you going to teach us yourself?"
"Yes. I will give you cultivation techniques that fit you the most. So forget all the old ones which are not only low level and impractical." Yue Xuexia said.
With a wave of her hand, an exquisite katana shaped sword floats towards Xiao Muen. He is a swordsman who focuses on speed and strength. So a lighter weapon was the best for him. He needs a certain reach with his weapon so daggers don’t fit him. He is the type to stand on the front showing his presence openly.
Meanwhile, a sword belt, thin cicada floats in front of Han Haerin. It looks simple but minimalist in black shade. This would allow her to wear it with any kind of clothing to match with. To others it would look like an ordinary belt unless Han Haerin pulled it out and put a qi in it.
On the other hand, an empty template formation was given to Ru Lanyu. He wanted to learn more about formation. So a plate that can store formations is the best for him. This formation template allows Ru Yunlan to store at least six formations inside and it allows stacking.
After receiving the weapon artifacts from the Moon Goddess they all look at Yue Xuexia as if asking if they can truly have such treasures. The giver only nods her head and once again waves her hand. This time three books floated in front of her. Two of the books are sword techniques and the last one is a book of set formations she had written herself.
A sword technique called Nine Qilin Sword Technique was given to Xiao Muen. It is a sword technique with nine slats that focus on both strength and speed. It needs an equilibrium between one’s strength and speed. Yue Xuexia had also added a new breathing and footwork technique in the book which fits this sword technique well.
Yue Xuexia said, "Learn the breathing technique first, then you can choose whether you want to learn footwork or sword technique next. However, if you want to completely master it, you need to find a perfect balance between the three. If you learn well, you might be able to use short range teleportation with wind a medium."
"How long do you think I can master the first slash plus the footwork and the breathing technique?" Xiao Muen asked.

What was given to Han Haerin is quite similar to what Xiao Muen but different types of techniques that focus more into speed and execution instead. There is also a healing type technique added in her book. Her sword technique is Rose Thorn Sword Technique. Yue Xuexia had spoken in the language Han Haerin is the most natural with, so she can easily understand her explanation.

Translation: [Xiao Rin, you know that for girls strength isn’t everything. Though there are ways to increase one’s strength, it would nature increase as your realm increases. You are still quite new when it comes to cultivation. So this sword technique focuses on speed, and execution of illusion. Illusions are made to take one off guard. The more they didn’t expect it the more effective it is. With speed you can take out your enemy as long as you get the opportunity to do so. So the same as your Uncle Xiao, you must focus on breathing techniques first then footworks before deploying the technique.]

Han Haerin had always been interested in medicine but as the young heiress of the Han Clan, she is destined to lead her clan’s companies and so this desire had just been buried in her heart. Who would have thought that her godmother would notice it. She was delighted by such an opportunity and accepted it joyously.

Finally, Yue Xuexia looked at her Godson and saw him already reading the book of formations. She couldn’t help but smile.
