Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess-Chapter 763: Leaving the Exiled Star
Seeing the excited look of the Monk, everyone else didn’t know what they should do. They should be thankful that the monk doesn’t seem angry and instead looks interested in their world.
Monk Xu Jin asked, "Divine one, is it possible for this monk to look around in this world?"
"It’s not that you can’t but... we need to teach you the rules of this world first." Ru Yunlan, the God of Death, said.
He gave up thinking and decided to talk to the monk seriously about what he plans to do. If he wanted to return to his world the only way to have his godmother open the ruins and bring him back in. The problem is that the Moon Goddess had left for something. It was unknown when she would return.
After calming down from the fact they had dragged a foreign cultivator in their world, the Dragon race had come to check on them. The one in lead was the current president of their country, Long Juedi and Ling Wen. The two had longed to become a part of the Dragon race after Long Juedi had awakened his bloodline and Ling Wen voluntarily became a kin.
The first welcomed the three who had ascended successfully to the true god realm. Now the Mortal Realm has six True God realm gods including the Dragon God.
Long Juedi said, "Congratulations on your ascension!"
"Right now in our realm alone we have six true gods!" said Ling Wen.
The two congratulate Xiao Muen, Ru Yunlan, Lin Ruri and Han Haerin for entering the True God (Mahayama) realm. On the other hand, the four that were mentioned seem to be surprised instead. They would have never expected that their ascension was already known by these two and that there are even six true gods when before it was only the God of Dragons that is considered the True God in the Mortal Realm.
Xiao Muen looked bewildered and asked, "How did you guys know? We’ve just come out of the ruins today."
"Well. The voice of the world had spoken. Every time someone reached the True God realm, it would be announced to the world. The first announcement is about the ascension of the Sea God," Ling Wen explained.
Long Juedi added, "A day later after the first announcement was the announcement of the Wind Sword God’s ascension. That should be Mr. Xiao here."
"Then a few minutes later is the announcement for the Death God, the Light Goddess and the Goddess of Flowers and Nature. Everything was announced by the world so both the Mortal and Cultivation Realms should know about it," said Ling Wen.
A serious expression on Long Juedi’s face appears as he said, "There is also an announcement about the Moon Goddess. I’ve recorded it."
The group gathered as Long Juedi played his phone. Only the Monk looked at the strange gadget. He also listened as he was finding the fact that this small thing can record voices. Everyone heard about the fact that the world had restrained the ascension of the Moon Goddess for the protection of the world and why Yue Xuexia was eager to help them get stronger faster. It was because she can’t ascend without leaving people to protect the world when she is gone.
Now it’s different, their world now has six true gods which is enough to defend this world if something happens. The Moon Goddess had no reason to stay and would most likely choose to leave for the upper realm to find her family.
Lin Ruri said, "Xuexue wouldn’t be planning on leaving without saying goodbye, won’t she?"
"No, Xue’er isn’t like that. Something might have happened during Yunlan’s ascension," Xiao Muen said. "We should head to the Moon Palace and continue the rest of the conversation there. Also... Wait for Xue’er to return."
After bidding their farewell to the dragons, they headed to the Moon Palace where everyone had a place to rest. They had gathered at the living room thinking of continuing their conversation. Long Juedi and Ling Wen had come with them. After all, they need to register the locations of their chosen sanctuary. For the Goddess of Light, she will most likely return with Han Yoonjun to K country. But it seems that Lin Ruri is worried of being exploited, so she asked her husband to stay in this country instead.
In fact, they can just move the current Han Clan here, just the family branch of Han Yoonjun and the old master. After all, once Ru Yunlan and Han Haerin married, they would live in the Moon Palace as their residence. Xiao Muen would leave to live with his wife who had recently reunited with him. Finally, three years had passed and the Moon Goddess had become a being of legend and no one knew whether she still existed or not. The six guardian gods were the ones that became famous in the world and well known as the protectors of the heavens.
So when the God of Death and Goddess of Nature and Flowers decided to get married, the whole world knew about it.
At the wedding venue...
Han Haerin was wearing a gorgeous crimson ancient wedding gown waiting for her future husband to get her. She was surrounded by all kinds of flowers that bloomed in her presence. Her aura alone was enough for these flowers to bloom beautifully. Around her were small flower fairies who were helping her with her wedding dress and makeup.
"Goddess, you look so beautiful!"
"The most exquisite flower!"
"The most beautiful woman in the world!"
The flower fairies hovers happily around their creators. The wedding would be taking place at the Moon Palace. It can be said that both she and her future husband, Ru Yunlan, had a domain of their own. However, they still choose to get married on the land which their godmother had given to them.
Han Haerin said to the flower fairy that spoke last, "No. It wasn’t I who can be said to be the most beautiful woman in this world, but godmother is. No one can ever defeat her beauty. Ethereal as the moon’s reflection on the water. Gorgeous yet completely out of reach."
"Xiao Rin, are you missing godmother again?" Ru Yunlan and heard his future wife talking to her fairies.
The fairies murmurs,
"The groom is here!"
"How weird. He is the god of death but there is no scent of death coming from him. Instead there is something else..."
"Moon essences...!!"
"His death energy is being blocked by the Moon energy!"
"Amazing! It doesn’t feel unpleasant being around the lord like this..."
Ru Yunlan was also wearing a male version of crimson ancient wedding clothes. His long black hair was tied up behind him with his silver eyes looking at Han Haerin full of affection. No one would have thought that the God that rules death to show this kind of affection.
Han Haerin responded to her beloved, "It’s been a while since godmother had appeared. I miss her. It would be better if she would be able to attend our wedding."
"I too misses Godmother. However, the world had mentioned it to us before. Her burdens... Her responsibilities are now being passed onto us. We will definitely see her on the day she ascends to the upper realm." Ru Yunlan said.
Han Haerin said, "I know."
"Let’s go. It’s time for us to make vows with the heavens and complete our Dao Ceremony," Ru Yunlan said as he reached out his hand asking for his beloved to hold his.
Han Haerin smiled and put her hands into his. "Let’s go together."
The couple walk out of the room, hand in hand. As they made their way towards the highest peak, everyone in the crowd was wishing them all luck and happiness. Surrounded with their families and friends, the couple stood at the stage where they faced the sky and said their vows.
Just as they finished their vows someone they didn’t expect to suddenly descend from the heavens. The figure of the gorgeous lady in white and red ancient robes with a mask hiding half of her face. It was the Moon Goddess giving them her final blessing and farewell.
{Both of you had experienced both joy, and sadness. Separation and loneliness. Now you have tied your lives together, you will never be separated. I am extremely happy to see you both like this.}
"Godmother?" Ru Yunland and Han Haerin said with tears in their eyes.
They had an inkling that this might be the last time they would see their godmother who had changed their lives, save them, care for them and love them as their own.
{Don’t cry. This is not a goodbye but just a short farewell. We will definitely see each other in the distant future. This world... I will leave them in your care.}
The Moon Goddess looks around and sees the other Guardian Gods of this star. It took a while for her health to revert to a bit normal. Her complexion was nicer now compared on the day she disappeared. Yue Xuexia hugs Ru Yunlan and Han Haerin for the last time before she once again floated towards the heavens. The world had created a path of light for her ascension and everything in this world was bowing to her, bidding their farewell. She also took someone who had stayed on their world by mistake.
