Sinner System-Chapter 450: Calamity Raids (Part 8)

"Hahaha, now, this is what I’m talking about!" I exclaimed gleefully, evading a blast of wind before launching myself towards my opponent with a sharp burst of telekinesis.

I smirked while concentrating Mana around my fists before releasing the charged up energy, powerful bursts of force erupting and blowing my opponent back.

I was so excited to tackle this Calamity Level Dungeon after so long, only to be immensely disappointed by how ridiculously easy it was.

But at last, in the Boss Room, I was finally having some fun. I was up against a Wind Dragon, and I was taking it on by myself. I asked the others to let me fight it alone, and luckily, they obliged without any real fuss.

Don’t know when I’ll get another opportunity like this, so I gotta make the most of it and enjoy this battle to the fullest!

"Hey, you shure you dom’t want any helmp?!" Called out Iseul, slurring as she leaned against the back wall and sipped on a bottle of vodka.

"Nah, I’m good! I’ve got this, you just hang back and take it easy!" I responded, before whipping my arm across and firing out a rapid, slashing wave of telekinesis towards the Dragon.

It quickly flew up, before roaring in pain as my attack struck the middle of its left back leg, inflicting a deep horizontal gash across that spot, blood streaming down.

Hm...

"Come on, shrink down, dumbass! Seriously, you’re making this way too easy! I know you can understand me!" I exclaimed, the Dragon growling before it snapped open its jaws and fired out a devastating gust of wind from its mouth.

I unleashed a telekinetic shockwave as the gust closed in on me, withstanding the attack before I unleashed several consecutive telekinetic bursts behind myself to blast myself through the air towards the Wind Dragon.

It stiffened as I closed in on it faster than it expected, before I formed a large, concentrated blade of telekinesis and whipped it down at the Monster’s chest.

It quickly tilted its body across, before roaring in pain as I sliced through its right shoulder and severed its arm, blood spraying out as the arm fell off and thudded against the ground.

I spun around as I slipped behind it, before unleashing a concentrated telekinetic blast, hitting its back and sending it flying forward.

Oh, crap!

I chased after it as it let out a snarl and shot towards the others, all of them shrinking back, except Iseul. She let out an annoyed huff and stepped forward as the Dragon charged towards them, before raising her right hand...

"Don’t interrupt my booze time, shtupid lizhard. [Grand Lightning Cannon]."

A sharp roar of pain rang out as a bright electric flash burst out, hitting the Monster’s chest and stopping it in its tracks.

"M’kay, nexsht...[Lightning Boosht]."

Huh? I haven’t heard of that Spell before...

Iseul set her bottle down as lightning burst out, wrapping around her body. Her hair stood up on end as she drew out her jagged, lightning bolt-shaped blade. She cracked her neck with a tilt of her head and zipped across, a sharp crackle ringing out as she slipped behind the Dragon in the blink of an eye.

Woah, she’s faster than I am! Well, at least when I’m not using telekinesis to propel myself. Where did this come from?

The Dragon let out a sharp snarl as she slashed at its back with her blade, inflicting a shallow cut across that spot. She let out a hiccup before springing back and firing out a vicious, crackling bolt of lightning, hitting the side of its mouth as it spun around furiously, driving its left arm down towards her.

She swiftly zipped away to her right, the lightning wrapped around her crackling intensely, before she fired out an intense, concentrated lightning blast as the Dragon simultaneously fired out a burst of wind.

Her blast hit its left eye as the Dragon’s attack slammed into her, launching her back through the air before she hit the ground and skidded back, letting out a sigh as she stared up at the ceiling.

"Uh...you good?" I inquired in bemusement, her hair going limp as the lightning around her faded.

"Mhm, jusht a couple of broken ribsh, should heal shoon...buh I don’t feel like fighting anymore. Could you hurry up and finish thish off?" She slurred, before muttering, "Where’d I put my bottle...?"

As the Dragon stumbled back, wisps of smoke billowing out of what was left of its eye, it tensed as I shot towards it, before it suddenly shrunk down into its humanoid form.

"Alright, now we’re talking! Although...it might be too little too late," I sighed wistfully, as the Dragon shot towards me, wind swirling around the claws on its left hand.

As we closed in on each other, I unleashed a small but intense telekinetic shockwave, knocking the Dragon off-balance. Its remaining eye widening in alarm before it gasped sharply in pain as I drove my left arm forward, a drilling mass of telekinetic energy swirling around my hand and piercing into the Monster’s solar plexus.

It snarled before furiously driving its claws towards the side of my head, before I blew its arm away with a telekinetic burst, a violent shudder of pain erupting across its body as I reached its Core and drilled through, shattering it inside the Monster’s body.

I pulled my hand back out as its body went limp, before it fell over and collapsed onto the ground, blood pouring out of the hole in the middle of its torso.

Hm...were Calamity Level Monsters always this weak? I mean, it had plenty of power, sure, but it didn’t seem like it had all that much combat experience.

On another note...

"Hey, what was that Spell you used, Lightning Boost?" I asked Iseul curiously, approaching her as she picked up her bottle and took a swig.

"Huh? Oh, I came up with that, like, a while ago, I wash inshpired after that tournament we had. Took shome time to get the hang of though," She replied with a shrug.

"Cool...hey, after we get out of here, wanna spar?"

"Hm? Sure, I guesh."

Yes!
