Sinner System-Chapter 499: It Begins

"Do you think the humans have given up, my Lord?"
"No, I highly doubt that. They’ve likely opted to focus on bolstering their defenses, they must have realized that trying to defeat the Dungeons is a futile effort," I replied with a smirk. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
There’s now less than ten hours before the Dungeons disappear and the Monsters within emerge out into the open.
The human strongholds, what they call the Sanctuaries, will soon be glorified graveyards. All the humans have done is trap themselves, there will be no escape.
"I wonder if there will be anything for those of us in this Final Dungeon to do by the time we emerge? There are nearly four weeks left before we can leave, the Monsters in the other Dungeons who will be set free in less than half a day could wipe out the entirety of humanity by then," Mused Spektar thoughtfully.
"No, I believe the strongest among the humans will persist a while longer. If I had to wager a guess, the humans will likely focus on their defenses and try to eliminate the Monsters attacking the Sanctuaries, ideally before we emerge from the Final Dungeon. But that will not work.
We still have more than a hundred Archdemons, Dragons and King Ants in play, the humans do not have the firepower to fend all of them off. I believe there are around five or six humans who are genuine threats, but we can disregard the rest.
Anyway, once they realize that trying to eliminate all those Monsters is futile, the strongest among them will likely venture here, and aim to conquer the Final Dungeon. They likely assume that, if they can defeat me and the Sentinels, they can win this war," I surmised in response.
"But what if they do possess some immensely effective defensive measures or secret weapons? What if they actually do have the means to kill all the other Monsters?" He pointed out.
"I believe that is quite unlikely, they would have already used it if they had such a thing, and I doubt they can just come up with one in less than a week...but I suppose it isn’t impossible.
No matter, we have plenty of Monsters to spare. I can link my senses to the strongest Monster of each Dungeon, and that will remain true even after they emerge from their respective Dungeons.
All I will need to do is link to a few of them as they move to attack the Sanctuaries. And if something unforseen occurs, I can simply issue new orders to have them adjust their attack accordingly. If it comes down to a battle of attrition, our victory is assured," I stated confidently.
I do not know exactly how many Hunters the humans have on their side, but I am certain that it is nowhere close to the number of Monsters under my command.
After all, if that was not the case, they wouldn’t have had trouble dealing with the seven thousand or so Dungeons that I arose.
The vast majority of humans do not possess any Magic, they will be completely and utterly helpless even against the weakest of my Monsters.
"Yes, I suppose that’s true. It would take a miracle for the humans to win this war."
"Indeed. Now, then, I think I shall take a nap. With so little time left, I feel quite restless, so perhaps some sleep will help pass the time," I replied with an impatient sigh.
"Very well, then I shall go mingle with the Sentinels, since I literally cannot sleep."
Not much longer now, it is only a matter of hours before my dream begins to come into fruition, the extinction of humanity...

"Come on...," I muttered, pacing around restlessly.
"Calm down, my Lord...there is less than half a minute left," Responded Spektar in bemusement.
"I cannot help it. This sense of anticipation, I have never felt this emotion so strongly before," I replied, as I continued to pace around.
This is it, mere seconds away...I shall enjoy watching the humans get slaughtered, I want to see them lose all hope, to plunge into despair.
Everything I endured during my life in this world, I shall have every last human experience for themselves. They will be shown no mercy, I have no such thing to spare for their kind.
"I believe there’s less than ten seconds now, yes?" Spektar asked me.
"Indeed. Five. Four. Three. TWO!!! ONE!!!" I exclaimed gleefully, before chanting, "And so, it begins! Now, <Thought Communication>."
I used the Skill to link with every single Monster that was now set free, before directing my thoughts at them...
Go forth, to the human settlements. Show them no mercy, kill them all!
Finally, I-...hm?
Several Monsters are dying, what is this?
I linked my senses to some of the Monsters, to get a look at what was going on.
"Ah, it seems the humans are dropping bombs in the areas where some of the Dungeons were, including all the remaining Calamity Level Dungeons. It seems they did not have enough to bomb all the Dungeons."
"How powerful are these bombs?" Spektar asked me.
"Quite. Even the species that the humans refer to as Calamity Level are not unscathed, twenty-four of them have been killed, including five Archdemons. A rather large number of the weaker species have fallen as well. But it is inconsequential. Only a fraction of their total numbers have been eliminated," I informed him.
It looks like approximately five hundred of the Dungeons were bombed, and around a quarter to a third of the Monsters in each of those areas were eliminated.
Had the humans possessed enough of these explosives to drop three or four onto every single area that these Dungeons appeared in, they actually might have managed to wipe out the majority of the Monsters, perhaps even all of them, or at least close to it.
But the explosions have ceased, they’ve likely used all of these bombs. No, they may have kept a few in reserve by the Sanctuaries...I should instruct the Monsters to proceed with relative caution, have the weaker and more expendable ones lead the way and trigger any traps set.
Yes, I should not get careless simply because the odds are stacked so heavily in my favor. I shall be as thorough as possible, and ensure that I succeed in exterminating the humans...
