Sinner System-Chapter 574: X-Aces vs The Demon Lord (Part 1)

I grimaced as a bright flash of purple burst out, wiping out my right arm as I veered across to my left, Curse Edge plummeting down, before I quickly lifted my gaze up as Ariella Velle came swooping down towards me, crimson flames and Negative Energy intensely swirling around her right fist.

As she drove her fist down towards me with a roar of exertion, I raised Dimension Breaker up defensively, her fist colliding against the staff with a devastating impact.

An intense eruption of flames and Negative Energy burst out, sending me hurtling down towards the ground.

I gritted my teeth and unleashed a burst of Negative Energy below myself, bringing myself to a halt inches above the ground.

My feet thudded softly against the ground as I landed, before racing away as a barrage of Ether blasts came shooting down towards me.

I spread out my wings and launched myself into the air as Medusa slithered out in front of me and unleashed her petrifying beams, narrowly evading them before my gaze darted across to my left as Cleo Nova unleashed a deafening sonic screech towards me. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

I fired out a burst of Negative Energy to launch myself out of the way, wincing quietly as I failed to fully evade the attack, dazing me slightly, before my eyes widened in alarm as Kaivel Intrix shot towards me from the right.

I turned towards him and manifested Reflection, before recalling Curse Edge, the weapon shooting back towards me as Kaivel Intrix closed in on me, before suddenly manifesting his Drain Skill, eating right through Reflection.

He drove his blade towards me with a vicious thrust of his arm, right as Curse Edge got within my reach. I grabbed the handle and raised the spear out in front of myself as fast as I could, his blade colliding against mine with a sharp clang, before he activated his Devour Skill, the dark jaws snapping at my head.

I triggered a blast of Negative Energy between us as the jaws began to sink in to the left side of my head, tearing off several shreds of skin as I launched myself back while simultaneously blasting Kaivel Intrix away, before petrifying beams came shooting in towards me, a pair from below and another from behind.

I spun around and flew back while manifesting Reflection again, narrowly evading the beams from below and reflecting the other pair straight back towards Cleo Nova.

She swerved across the air to evade the beams, before stiffening as I launched myself straight towards her, using Divide to manifest a clone as she fired out a wide, sticky net towards me.

I flew up and over the clone as he got snared in the net, deactivating Divide and restoring my full power before blasting myself straight towards her.

As I closed in on her and sensed the others starting to rush in or target me, I used Divide again, manifesting five clones, before having them unleash fierce barrages of Negative Energy at the others, keeping them at bay.

Cleo Nova slashed at my head with the right energy blade of her Personalis Arma, inflicting a shallow cut across the bridge of my nose as I tilted my head back right in the nick of time, before driving her other energy blade towards my stomach.

As I began to fly back, the blade suddenly extended, plunging into the middle of my stomach and bursting out my back, as I tasted blood in my mouth.

"Now, <Binding Chains>!" I exclaimed as I abruptly deactivated Divide to restore my full power, six golden chains extending out rapidly and wrapping around Cleo Nova’s limbs and torso before she could react, restricting her.

"You bastard...!" She growled, struggling against the chains.

Seems they won’t hold her for long, and the others are rushing in again...but I’ve bought more than enough time.

That resurrection ability she displayed earlier, I would imagine it likely has a long cooldown period, but I cannot be certain of that, in which case, my best option against her is...

"Now, <Petrification>," I chanted, firing out my petrifying beams at her face, right as she broke free of two of my Binding Chains, the ones around her arms.

She tilted her head across while flying back, before flinching as the beams grazed her left temple, the petrification rapidly spreading out across her forehead and to the rest of her head.

As I began to lunge forward to shatter her head and finish her off, a devastating Negative Energy blast erupted out her left hand, knocking the wind out of me as it struck my stomach and launched me back through the air.

I grimaced as I spread out my wings and came to a halt, before starting to swoop down as her now-fully petrified body plummeted towards the ground.

Suddenly, Ariella Velle charged in from my left, slamming her shoulder against mine before a powerful, intense blast of flames erupted upon impact, the force launching me across the air, before I gritted my teeth as the Dark Elf came swooping down towards me, a swirling mass of Ether around his fists, which he’d balled together above his head.

He swung them down as he closed in, suddenly unleashing a burst of Ether to propel his swing further, his fists slamming onto the top of my head and splitting my skull open before I could activate Reflection.

Blood sprayed out the top of my head as I rapidly plummeted down towards the ground, before I twisted my body across to try and regain my balance as my head healed, right as Kaivel Intrix shot towards me, dark energy swirling around his entire body.

I fired out a blast of Disintegration at him before quickly flying up as Kanine raced towards me and leapt up, swiping her claws at me, which whizzed across the air as I flew out of her reach.

Hm? Where is Cleo Nova? I did not hear a crash, so someone must have caught her before she hit the ground, but I do not see any sign of her petrified body anywh-...wait. Where is Medusa?!

I froze before quickly lifting my gaze, just in time to see Raixel dropping Medusa towards me, her eyes glowing brightly, before a pair of wide, rapid petrifying beams came shooting down towards me, closing in on me faster than I could activate Reflection.

I began to veer back while simultaneously raising my Personalis Arma above myself, but it wasn’t enough, one of the beams slipping through a gap in my hasty defense...and hitting me squarely in the middle of my face, the petrification spreading with immense speed...
