Sinner System-Chapter 577: X-Aces vs The Demon Lord (Part 4)
"Let’s do this, Kai," Remarked Aria, cracking her knuckles.
"Yeah, time to end this," I nodded, before chanting, "Now, <Emerge, Apostles of...>."
Aria spread out her wings and shot towards Vaszel as I chanted to summon the Apostles for what was probably going to be the last time in this battle, my MP going down to less than a tenth of my full capacity.
I followed after Aria as the Apostles spread out, charging Negative Energy in my left hand as I shot towards Vazsel at full speed.
Aria unleashed a flurry of Negative Energy blasts at Vaszel, before zipping up as he used Reflection to send the attacks straight back at her.
As she evaded them, she formed a long whip of Negative Energy with spikes at the end of it, before swinging it down towards Vaszel with a powerful snap of her wrist.
He fired out a blast of Negative Energy to deflect it away, before turning his attention to me as I closed in, using Drain to eat through Reflection before driving my blade towards his throat.
He blocked my strike with his staff, before unfurling a rapid slash of his spear. I quickly fly back and twisted my body across, his blade slicing through my left shoulder and drawing out a spray of blood, before he fired out a blast of Negative Energy as I simultaneously unleashed the Negative Energy I’d charged up.
Our blasts collided before erupting in a powerful shockwave, knocking me several meters back through the air, before he shifted his attention up as Aria swooped down towards him with a Flame Lance charged up, enhanced with Negative Energy.
She drove the attack towards the top of his head at full power as she closed in, her eyes widening as he narrowly evaded the attack, which grazed the left side of his face, before he unfurled a vicious, powerful thrust of his spear towards her.
She crossed her arms in front of herself defensively, the blade colliding against her gauntlets and sending her hurtling across the air, right as Ira swooped down, extending out several tendrils of Ether and wrapped them around Vaszel’s legs.
Ira continued to swoop down, dragging Vaszel along with him towards the ground, before the Demon Lord let out a snarl and unleashed a furious Negative Energy slash, splitting Ira in half before he could react, right as Avaritia and Gula sprang up and grabbed his arms, Ira having just about dragged him within their reach.
As his feet thudded against the ground, his tail shot up rapidly and struck the bottom of Gula’s jaw as her eyes began glowing, her head jerking up upon impact and sending her beams shooting up towards the ceiling.
Negative Energy erupted around his arms, blowing their grasps off, before he turned across and lunged at Gula, who drove her claws towards him as he simultaneously drove his spear towards her.
He tilted his head across, gritting his teeth as her claws plunged into his left eye, as he simultaneously pierced through the middle of her forehead with his spear, giving the blade a violent twist before yanking it back out, right as Avaritia leapt towards him from behind.
He spun around and slashed at her head with his spear, which she narrowly evaded as she got low, before springing up rapidly and swinging her claws out, inflicting a pair of deep, diagonal ashes across his torso.
She unfurled a barrage of rapid strikes with her claws, puncturing his throat and chest, choked gasps ringing out, before she came to an abrupt halt as he unleashed his Binding Chains, restraining her before whipping his spear down, splitting her head open before she could react.
As he began to lift his gaze up, he collapsed onto his knees as I zipped up above him and unleashed a devastating blast of Negative Energy, hitting his head and shoulders, stunning him as blood burst out the top of his head.
Aria and I swooped down towards him as fast as we could, closing in on him right as he shakily got back onto his feet.
I swung Desecrator towards the right side of his head as Aria drove her fist towards the left, before his arms rapidly shot up, intercepting my slash with his spear and blocking Aria’s strike with his staff.
He snarled before unleashing a burst of Negative Energy to blow us away, before taking aim at Aria and unleashing a rapid ray of Disintegration, wiping out her feet as she took off into the air with a burst of Negative Energy.
He then sent his Binding Chains shooting out towards me as I sprinted towards him, his eyes widening as I swallowed them up with Drain, before I quickly stopped and took off into the air as spikes burst out of the ground in front of him, rising towards me, before I whipped my left arm across to unleash a scattershot of Negative Energy blasts, shattering the spikes to pieces before they could reach me.
Descent will run out in a matter of seconds, we need to inflict at least one more hit of serious damage to him and exhaust him further, otherwise we won’t be able to keep up-...
My eyes widened as Aria suddenly swooped straight down towards him, charging Negative Energy into her right fist, compressing and concentrating it intensely.
She veered across the air as Vaszel rapidly extended his Binding Chains up towards her, before I shot forward and fired out a volley of Negative Energy projectiles, hitting the chains and destroying them, before Aria rapidly swooped down towards Vaszel, who took a swift step back and manifested Reflection.
Right as Aria closed in, she suddenly unleashed a couple of successive, pressurized bursts of Negative Energy, zipping across and down to land behind him in the blink of an eye, Vaszel tensing before rapidly spinning around in alarm, as she lunged forward and drove her fist towards him with a roar...
"Take THIS!!!"
