Kitsune nodded. "Yes, he did."

All sages smiled and took a deep breath.

The blue barrier covering Giliberu vanished.

And the transparent goblin was nowhere to be seen.

In another dimension, bright blue light filled the nothingness.

Giliberu had changed back into his slime form—a multicoloured jelly blob.

'It's not the nothingness… that I go to after death,' he mused, glancing at his five-coloured body.

Whoosh!

A figure condensed in front of him with bright blue light.

A gentle, middle-aged woman manifested before him, who looked ordinary, neither exceptionally beautiful nor ugly.

If she stood in the middle of a town, no one would pay attention to her. But her temperament was extraordinary.

She had a warm energy around her, gentle yet vast and heavy at the same time. She was clad in a long blue gown.

Young Slime suddenly felt the urge to let go of his worries and confess everything to her like a kid.

'I only felt like this in front of… Mom,' he frowned, 'And Mama Slime.'

Creation Goddess grinned softly at him.

"What do you desire, young one?" she asked, glancing at the slime.

Slime grinned. "You finally appeared."

He sighed. 'I almost felt I would lose my efforts.' 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

He'd withstood a lot for more than a century.

The Creation Goddess nodded gently and reminded, "What do you desire?"

The young slime glanced at himself in doubt.

'Isn't this a powerful illusion? How did it know I'm slime?' he thought, clicking his tongue.

He cast, "Gel Morph!" and changed to a humanoid form.

"This isn't an illusion," the Creation Goddess said, reading his mind.

"What?" Young Slime exclaimed.

The scene of his mother's death flashed in his eyes.

Goblin Lord's death, along with the goblin kids who couldn't withstand the curse.

"You are in the past. The trial of the Demon King's Heir was created by the Voice of the World… hence it had such power," Creation Goddess added, with a soft smile.

"What?" Giliberu uttered. "I thought it wasn't real."

'She was real…' he mused bitterly. 'Now a third mother… I failed to protect.'

He closed his eyes, sighing.

"Everything you experienced is real," Creation Goddess said. "And I can grant one wish."

The Creation Goddess paused, then added softly, "You can ask for power. With it, you can overcome anything. Or, you can ask me to heal your soul and break free from that sealed artifact."

Slime fell into thoughts. 'Power… and I can break from this cursed Vael.'

He recalled how he suffered and how powerless he was from the beginning, as everyone around him was killed along with him.

"Remember… only one wish," Creation Goddess added, raising her index finger. "So, what is it?"

On the other side—

"Gods broke the divine order," Kitsune hissed, taking a deep breath.

"They must pay for that," Centaur scowled, tapping his hooves.

"Let's start the Judgement," Tengu declared, tapping his staff.

Narrowing his eyes, Holy Sage Thalmyr raised his palm to the sky.

"I, Holy Sage Thalmyr, hereby curse you, Goddess of Lust, for breaking the divine order. You will be seen as low and pathetic by every being." He barked as his palm glowed bright gold.

The sky cracked, lightning flashing in between.

A pink shadow with a human woman outline formed in front of the sages and said in a soft voice, "I broke the law, hence accept your curse."

A golden chain appeared in the air, bound her avatar, and disappeared.

Then, with a nod, she disappeared.

"Next, God of Death," Tengu hissed, raising his palm. He snarled, "I, Holy Sage Kenji, curse God of Death for breaking the divine order. From now on, all beings will be afraid of you, considering you a tyrant and evil despite you doing your work righteously."

A black energy manifested in front of them in the shape of a human male outline.

He asked bitterly, "Why, sages? Was protecting the world by breaking order considered bad?"

Sages glared at him.

Death God added softly, "Goddess of Lust was just helping… You all gave such a powerful curse? Almost no one would pray to her in the future due to your curse."

Sages fell silent.

Holy Sage Thalmyr sighed. "You are indeed right that you were just protecting the world, but we sages couldn't oversee it."

Kitsune added, "We cannot withdraw the curse but modify it."

Thalmyr, raising his glowing right palm, said softly, "I, Holy Sage Thalmyr, change the curse I inflicted on the Goddess of Lust. Her status as goddess is low, not pathetic, since lust and sex are important for sustaining life."

Goddess of Lust reappeared in front of them, and with a soft voice she said, "Thank you, God of Death."

Holy Sage Tengu raised his palm. "I, Holy Sage Kenji, modify the curse I inflicted on God of Death. He will be just feared by beings but not seen as evil, since death is necessary for the world to function."

God of Death nodded with a small grin. "Thank you, sages, for reducing the power of curses."

Sages glanced at each other as Kitsune raised her palm, which glowed golden like others, as she bellowed, "I, Holy Sage Sizune, curse the God King for breaking the divine order. He'll lose something precious one day."

Boom!

Sky flashed with gold-white lightning.

An energy avatar of gold-white lightning, in the form of a human male outline, had manifested in front of them.

God King asked coldly, "Good, now about you all failing to protect the world?"

Sages sighed.

Thalmyr declared, "I'll give up position after a few years."

Kitsune followed, "I'll do the same."

Tengu tapped his stick. "I'll train my student to take over."

All the sages decided to give up their position as Holy Sage.

God King nodded as everyone vanished.

On the other side—

Creation Goddess stood in front of Slime and asked softly, "Take your time and answer."

Slime hesitated. 'Should I wish for overwhelming power… and heal my soul with it?'

Creation Goddess grinned, musing, 'Young one, show me… just how strong-willed are you? Can you resist the temptation?'

She added, "And it can be any wish… You can ask for resurrecting all the Mama Slimes, and others who died due to you from other timelines… so what is it?"

Mama Slime flashed in the young slime's mind.
