Sold as the Alpha King's Breeder-Chapter 1286 - 41 : Under the Moonlight Again
*Zara*
My breath caught in my throat as I took in the muscular, formidable figure before me. In the most gorgeous of ways, the moonlight illuminated his handsome features and broad shoulders.
There was no mistaking it now. This was the mysterious wolf from the woods that passionate night. And he was someone I recognized instantly.
I had to look down to make sure. My heart pounded with exhilaration as I saw beautiful golden threads extending from my chest to none other than Noah.
His threads entwined mine, and I realized he was my true mate. Tears began to pour from my eyes as I gasped, reaching up to cup his cheek, this time with pure, tender passion.
Noah let out a breath, closing his eyes for just one moment and basking in my touch. Then, he opened his eyes again, his blazing orbs seeming to search my soul.
He knew something was different, here and now. He asked in a whisper, “Do you see them?”
I knew exactly what he meant.
I nodded, shedding more tears of sheer joy. I should have listened to my wolf, my instincts, this entire time, I thought. I was so caught up in everything that I didn’t realize who was standing right in front of me.
A look of relief and passion rested on Noah’s face before fading into sadness. “I wish I could see them too,” he said.
“It’s okay. We can make the tea if you want. We have extra lilies now, and–”
“I don’t need the tea to tell me what I already know,” he said in a husky voice.
Without another word, I lowered my hand and threw myself into his arms, feeling pleasant shocks rush through me as we embraced. His arms wrapped around me, and I felt wonderful.
This felt right, natural, and wonderful. We fell to the ground, and his mouth met mine hungrily. He explored even more aggressively than when we first met.
I returned his eagerness in kind, wanting... no, needing him, wanting to entwine my entire being with my beloved true mate.
I felt his strong hands roam my body with eager urgency, brushing over every sensitive spot on my body and sending shivers cascading through me.
A low moan slipped from my lips, prompting a growl from Noah that just intensified my hunger for him. He cupped my buttocks, grinding against me with intensity.
I could feel his length rub against the most sensitive spot between my legs, and I squirmed, needing him right then. A whimper of wanting slipped from my lips.
I heard Noah let out an excited chuckle, clearly delighted by my reaction. He broke the kiss, panting, and leaned up, staring into my eyes, drinking me in.
I saw the passion in his gaze, and no doubt, the need for him reflected in mine. Our passion couldn’t be contained any longer.
I needed him now.
He obliged, laying me reverently on the soft forest floor. My body hummed with anticipation as he straddled me in a pool of moonlight.
Noah didn’t waste any time and slowly began to penetrate me. I let out a long, drawn-out moan as he dragged against every sensitive spot within me.
Ecstasy filled me entirely as he did, and my body gratefully accepted his entry. I was connected to him, and it not only felt completely blissful, but entirely right.
His thrusts were tantalizingly slow as he locked eyes with me, running his fingers through my hair and taking deep, heaving breaths. The moans that spilled from his lips were music to my ears.
Noah’s strong, slow movements reached into the very depths of me, hitting all the spots that made pleasure rush through my entire body.
It wasn’t just lust driving us, either. The feelings were amplified so much by the feeling of love and passion that locked us together.
Tears began to gently crawl down my cheeks as the feelings just intensified between us, a warmth building within me that couldn’t be contained.
Every fiber of my being was aware of him, understood by him, and cherished by him. Our souls were in sync, emphasized by each slow, delicious thrust he gave me.
I adored the sounds that spilled from his lips as he made love to me, the gasps, moans, and even growls that met my ears, telling me he was enjoying this just as much as I was.
He leaned down and locked lips with me as we made passionate love, and I felt his free hand explore me as he did so. I moved my hips with his, eager for more of this wonderful feeling.
We moved together so wonderfully and naturally, bathed in the moonlight that brought us together. My heart pounded and my breathing quickened.
My arms wrapped around him as he made love to me, pulling me closer to him as he intensified his thrusts, but kept going at the same, slow pace.
My moans grew more and more intense, just like his, and soon, I knew I was going to reach my end. My body shuddered with its peak as my muscles clenched around him.
His scent of musk, vanilla, and pine enveloped me as he took me slowly and hungrily, something wonderfully pleasant and comforting.
A cry of ecstasy escaped my lips as I gave into the pleasure, lust and love entwining effortlessly as Noah released with me.
My body shook with pleasant, warm aftershock as I realized our true mate bond was revealed. At long last, I’d finally found my love, and it happened to be someone I had already fallen in love with.
The look in Noah’s eyes told me he felt the same fiery passion that I did. Our destined souls were now intertwined. The feeling of relief and joy was overwhelming in the best of ways.
I marveled in my mind at the fact that our future, which once seemed so uncertain, now shone bright with promise, just like the golden threads that joined us together.
Noah gave me a gentle kiss on the lips as now, exhaustion washed over me. I stared up at his blazing blue eyes, my own shimmering with tears of emotion, and gave him a smile.
“Rest, beautiful,” Noah said gently. “I’ll carry you back.”
He took me into his arms. I felt completely safe and secure, with no doubt in my mind that he was the one I’d been looking for this entire time.

I didn’t know how much time had passed before I woke up in bed, giving a yawn and a luxurious stretch. I rubbed my eyes for a moment as the memory of what had happened last night hit me.
Sitting up, I looked around hopefully, wanting to find Noah. He wasn’t in bed beside me, which caused a pang of wanting to rush through my body.
My wolf pushed for me to go find him, but right then, I was just trying to figure out if that was just a dream, or had truly happened.
When I began to focus and spotted the beautiful golden threads encircling me everywhere, I knew it was all real. My wolf balked at the idea of it being all a dream, anyway.
Letting out a soft sigh, I got out of bed, looking around. Noah had prepared some clothing for me here as well, which I was grateful for.
I slipped into a nightgown and wandered out, searching for Noah. The morning rays of the sun were just breaching the horizon.
The scent of bacon and eggs hit my nose, and I realized he must be making breakfast. Maybe that was why he didn’t wake up beside me.
I entered the kitchen, spotting him and giving a warm smile. “Hi,” I said when I met his gaze.
He returned my smile with a curious one of his own.
“Hey, beautiful. How are you feeling?” he asked.
“After last night, I feel wonderful,” I breathed. I took a seat and studied him, noting the surprise on his face.
“The bed felt that comfortable, huh?” he asked. “That is a relief. I was hoping you’d adapt well to this place. I’m glad you weren’t too stressed and were able to sleep.”
I furrowed my brow, tilting my head. That was a weird response... no mention of our night of passion in the woods last night. Did he not enjoy it as much as me, I wondered?
I blinked slowly, and then nodded. “Yes,” I said hesitantly. “How was your night?” I decided to ask, my heart clenching. What was going on?
“It was well. I was worried about you but got no reports or sightings of the rogues last night. I took a run in the woods just to make sure of that entirely.”
“A run in the woods? I see, how’d that go?”
“It was uneventful. I didn’t run into any trouble, no scent of invaders either. It put me at ease to make sure, even though I know there’s no way they know about this place.”
My heart pounded even harder, and I swallowed. I stared down at my hands, trying to figure out how to approach this.
Noah was tender and caring. He had been that way before I even knew he was my mate. He’d been intent on helping me as a good friend before.
There was no way this was on purpose, but I still felt very sad that he seemingly didn’t remember a thing.
I wondered if Merida could be behind this or, worse, whether the Luna Lilies had caused some side effects I didn’t know about, and that the rogues were warning me about.
He had drunk the tea to check for Serena, and nothing had happened then. I cursed myself inwardly for not drinking the tea when he had insisted back then.
Noah caught onto my expression and frowned deeply. He walked over and sat next to me. His presence sent shivers through me, especially now that I knew the truth.
“Hey, what’s wrong, Zara?” he asked in a concerned tone. “Are you feeling okay?”
“Sort of,” I replied softly, then gave a sigh. “Something... extraordinary happened last night, but I don’t know how to explain it.”
“Really? Well, I’m all ears. I’m here to help you, Zara. No matter what. Did something disturb you late at night or something?”
“No, the exact opposite,” I said. “I was restless and ran out as my wolf too, but I ran into someone.”
“You did?” Noah asked, perturbed. He then furrowed his brow. “There was no rogue activity, so I guess that’s alright, but you should have told someone. Anyway, who did you run into? Was it your mate?”
He sounded a mixture of hopeful and sad, as if the idea of me being with someone else hurt him. I definitely understood that at this point.
“Yes, I did,” I said. Then, I met his gaze. “Well, I ran into you, Noah.”
