Sorcerer Supreme at Hogwarts (English Versión)-Chapter 175 - 75
Chapter 175 - 75
N/A:
I originally planned to develop this part later on, but given the direction the story is taking "and with a magical-muggle war looming on the horizon" I thought it would be best to move some things forward.
Also, I get the feeling we're getting closer to the end of the main storyline, and I want the final arc to have the level of epicness it truly deserves.
Of course, that doesn't mean the content stops there. I already have several specials in mind that are quite advanced (in fact, there are so many that they could form their own mini-series of about 100 Chapters).
I'm also considering starting a new story focused on the Flamel children, with a much lighter tone and a more comedic approach.
So don't worry"there's still a lot to explore in this universe.
...
"Is that really your plan?" Tony asked as they exited the meeting room, still talking with disbelief.
"Of course. If it works, it'll be perfect. And if not... well, Plan B is already in motion. Either way, they won't be able to fulfill my request without them," Stephen replied with a half-smile that raised more questions than answers.
"You're completely insane," Wanda said, smiling with a mix of fascination and fear.
"Shut up. You're not exactly the one to talk," Stephen growled, shooting her a sharp look.
"So, what's the real plan now?"
"Return to Hogwarts. We have to wait for their decision... and make sure everything's ready," Stephen answered, though a hint of unease showed on his face.
"And what about Beauxbatons? It's probably still surrounded by soldiers..."
"Oh, I asked Misty and the elf squad to take care of that." Stephen's mischievous smile returned, as if he already knew everything would go smoothly.
...
Misty appeared alongside Dobby, Winky, and another elf with a perpetually grumpy look: Kreacher, the former servant of Sirius.
Sirius had sent him in hopes that Misty would teach him some manners... by force. Ironically, Kreacher ended up joining the special squad of house-elves led by Misty for this mission.
All four were wearing butler outfits"maid uniforms in the case of the female elves. Kreacher, however, wore an illusory uniform conjured by Misty's magic, as he had refused to wear one... even under threat of death.
Though he constantly expressed his disdain for Sirius, Kreacher secretly dreamed of one day having his head mounted alongside the old Black family elves... as a badge of honor.
With the same grumpy expression as always, Kreacher tugged at his clothes as if trying to rip them off.
"Everyone has a zone. East, west, and south. I'll take care of the north and move the castle," Misty commanded with authority, snapping her fingers. Her voice sounded like a seasoned general's.
"Yes!" Dobby and Winky responded in unison, saluting with military precision. They had learned it from watching TV with Tony.
Kreacher just frowned.
"Tsk... An elf who thinks she's a wizard..." he muttered under his breath, barely audible.
But Misty heard him.
SMACK!
A swift blow to the head made him stagger.
"Misty said speak with respect!" she snapped, glaring at him.
"Yes..." Kreacher muttered with a growl, rubbing his head.
"Go!" Misty ordered.
The three elves vanished with a snap, reappearing at the edge of the magical barrier Stephen had placed to protect the school.
While the soldiers continued to patrol the area, waiting for the barrier to fall, one of them spotted something.
Dobby had appeared right in front of him"on the other side of the barrier.
The soldier instinctively raised his weapon, but Dobby simply stared at him with curiosity, knowing no muggle could harm him there.
"What... what are you?" the soldier asked, stepping back from the strange creature.
Without wasting time, Dobby snapped his fingers twice. Glowing runes began to draw themselves on the ground, linking with others already placed by his companions throughout the area.
"Dobby is the free elf of a great master! And Dobby follows orders!" he shouted proudly as he finished tracing the final symbols.
"What are you doing?" the soldier asked, watching as the runes started to glow with increasing intensity.
"Dobby has orders! Goodbye!" he said cheerfully before vanishing with another snap.
The soldier tried to call for backup, but a tremor interrupted him.
The ground began to crack. The runes glowed as if they had just awakened the engines of a sleeping giant.
To everyone's astonishment, the land beneath the castle "and part of the mountain it stood on" began to rise.
At the center of it all, Misty floated in the air, still in her maid outfit, arms outstretched and fingers snapping to the rhythm of a magical dance.
Chains of light descended from the sky, anchoring the castle and the floating land. One of those chains was tied directly to her hand.
Then, with one final snap, space seemed to collapse in on itself.
The castle "and everything around it" was sucked into a wormhole, vanishing completely and leaving behind a massive crater.
"This is Guard 1134... Magical facility... it... they took it," the soldier said over the radio, his voice shaking, eyes wide with disbelief.
"Repeat, what was taken?" came the voice from HQ.
"The castle. They took the whole castle."
"What? How the hell do you lose a massive castle?!"
"Some weird... magical creatures. They just... took it... in seconds..."
"Is anything left?"
"No..."
"...Return to base."
"Yes, sir."
...
Meanwhile, at Hogwarts, all the students stared open-mouthed as a gigantic floating castle appeared above the Black Lake, like a vision straight out of a dream.
Stephen and the others had just arrived and were approaching to assist in the task.
Tony tapped his smartwatch and began typing. His voice spoke to Metis, his personal AI.
Shortly after, several technological cubes fell from the sky. They disassembled mid-flight thanks to their thrusters and reassembled beneath Beauxbatons, forming a floating base that stabilized the structure.
Misty's chains of light faded away, and she descended, smiling as she approached Stephen.
"Well done, Misty," he said proudly, guiding the castle toward a clearing near Hogwarts.
"If you need me, you know how to call," Misty replied, disappearing into a cloud of light.
Wanda, for her part, created energy bridges connecting the new floating castle to the ground. She also summoned magical chains to anchor it securely.
Beauxbatons, the legendary French school, now floated above the Black Lake, quite literally becoming Hogwarts' celestial neighbor.
And everyone... everyone stared at it with a mixture of awe, fear, and admiration.
Meanwhile, Hogwarts' professors and students"who had been evacuated to a temporary shelter in Hogsmeade"hurriedly returned.
Their faces radiated joy and astonishment upon seeing that their castle not only remained standing... but now floated majestically in the air!
Madame Maxime stepped forward alongside Dumbledore, both of them staring at the colossal structure suspended in the sky.
"Magnifique..." whispered the headmistress of Beauxbatons, eyes still wide in wonder.
"Should I bring Durmstrang too?" Stephen asked with a mischievous smile, glancing sideways at Dumbledore.
The old wizard took only a second to catch the young man's teasing.
"If necessary, I wouldn't mind sharing the grounds with both schools," he responded calmly, refusing to show any annoyance.
"What a relief..." Stephen said, widening his grin. "Because everything indicates that magical schools around the world will begin concentrating in one location per continent.
And Hogwarts' grounds... are perfect to host up to three schools."
"What are you saying?" asked Madame Maxime, frowning.
"Well, it should all be online right now," Stephen replied, pulling out his phone. Around him, students and professors quickly did the same.
"Is this real!?" exclaimed a student, eyes glued to their screen.
"The magical world is coming out of hiding!" another shouted in amazement, reading aloud.
The news was clear and forceful:
The International Confederation of Wizards had decided it was time to move beyond the veil of secrecy.
The invisibility spells protecting magical places from Muggle eyes would be lifted.
If any country refused to accept magical presence within its borders, special zones would be established to serve as sanctuaries for all magical beings.
A new, independent magical country would be officially founded.
Every magical being would automatically become a citizen of this new nation, backed by the Confederation.
Any attempt by Muggle governments to arrest, abduct, or suppress a wizard... would be met with a response.
Specialized squads would be deployed"even if it meant breaking peace treaties.
But that wasn't all.
The Muggle world had received a statement too"one that included irrefutable evidence:
"Failed attempts at agreements with governments.
Corruption among political leaders.
Military abuses.
And most shockingly... historical proof of how dark creatures destroyed cities, and how wizards secretly protected humanity"even during the infamous witch hunts."
Thanks to Tony Stark, it had all been leaked.
The message to the world was clear:
"We were always there. Protecting you. Trying to coexist. We are not terrorists.
But if you hunt us... we will respond."
The magical message seen in the sky was not a threat...
It was a declaration of existence.
A demonstration of what magic truly is.
Stephen smiled as he read the news.
"Looks like they accepted plan A..." he said, crossing his arms. "To create a city"or rather, a magical country."
Magical schools around the world would also undergo a radical change. ƒrēenovelkiss.com
Now, each continent would have a fixed point where several schools would share territory.
This would facilitate cooperation, mutual defense... and more efficient control over the magical population.
Thanks to the magical portals Stephen had created, and the mobile gates developed with MagicTech, transportation was no longer a problem.
Students could choose the school that best suited their interests.
Learning anywhere in the world... had become a real possibility.
Additionally, every country would establish safe houses to identify and protect magical children born in Muggle homes.
A direct response to what had happened at Beauxbatons...
The kidnapping of magical children would not happen again.
The images of those crimes were also released to the Muggle public.
And along with them, a diplomatic message:
"Return our people. Peacefully."
And if not...
"We're ready to fight."
Military forces and governments did not take the threat well...
But their hands were tied.
The scandals Tony had revealed exploded across social media.
Corrupt leaders were being brought down by their own opposition.
Just as Stephen had planned.
While humans fought among themselves for power...
The magical world gained time to act.
Creating a magical nation under the gaze of the entire world was no easy task.
But if the rest of the world was busy falling apart...
Maybe they'd have the space they needed.
Of course, Stephen knew one more thing:
Once new governments took control... new decisions would be made.
Some would choose peace.
Others... war.
........
Since the official announcement, several weeks had already passed. During that time, Stephen"hired directly by the International Confederation of Wizards"and accompanied by his siblings, had embarked on a series of rescue missions to free witches and wizards who had been kidnapped by hostile governments.
At the same time, MagicTech"Stephen's company"had received the most ambitious contract in magical history: to literally build a new country.
A new continent.
Though small, about the size of a modern nation, it rose in international waters.
Obviously, MagicTech's workers alone wouldn't have been enough. That's why an unprecedented alliance was formed: the goblins of Gringotts, the major magical houses, and all known sorcery companies were hired to collaborate. United under MagicTech's direction, they built a magical nation in record time.
There were a few complaints from certain countries when, mysteriously, some of their mountains vanished. Surveillance cameras even captured a humanoid figure in a maid outfit with glowing chains dragging them through the sky. But there was no concrete evidence linking wizards to the phenomenon. And without proof... there can be no trials.
"This is the last place, right?" Stephen asked, walking with steady steps, closely followed by Harry and Loki.
"It should be," Harry replied, cautiously eyeing the scientific base lit up by red alarms. "It's good the military decided to wait. If they'd joined in, we wouldn't just be facing mad scientists... they might've even launched missiles."
"Pff, what a disappointment," said Loki with a crooked smile, gracefully twisting his hand. A soldier hiding in the shadows was flung through the air, crashing violently against a wall. "A war every now and then spices up life."
"Can I ask you something, Stephen?" Harry said, looking at the leader with genuine curiosity.
"Go ahead," Stephen replied, effortlessly dematerializing a steel wall that blocked their path, as if it were made of paper.
"Why create a country? Wasn't it enough to reorganize the magical world like before?"
Stephen stopped, looked ahead with calm, and said:
"The answer is simple, Harry.
Witches and wizards, scattered across countries, are vulnerable. Easy to locate. Easy to destroy."
He walked a few steps further, and the emergency lights flickered across his face.
"But if we unite all the powerful witches and wizards of the world in a single territory... do you think any country would dare to attack, knowing we could catch their missiles midair... and teleport them right back over their heads in less than a second?"
Harry said nothing. It wasn't a threat. It was a warning. A declaration of balance.
They finally reached the room where the magical hostages were being held, trapped in containment fields.
Stephen snapped his fingers, and a portal opened beneath them, transporting them to safety. Then, he opened another for himself, Harry, and Loki.
"Besides," he added with a sideways smile as he stepped through the portal, "isn't it awesome to have a magical country?"
They appeared in the heart of what would one day be the capital of the new magical world. A towering building bearing the emblem of the Confederation stood at the center, surrounded by a landscape under rapid construction: buildings, homes, magical roads"even forests growing in real time in the distance.
The era of magical isolation was over.
The era of Magna Arcanum... had only just begun.
