Chapter 1800: Spirit Tip World’s Split Pt.7

Kou Chongxue’s sword strike, strictly speaking, was not a rank seven sword art. Instead, it was the martial intent he comprehended in the Martial Void Realm.

Yet when he unleashed it with his cultivation, it still carried a soul-shaking might.

With many high-ranking experts of the Spirit Tip World Realm absent, their Elysium Grand Formation unable to gather enough Seventh Order energy, and the Essence Du World’s reinforcements unable to intervene in time, Kou Chongxue tore through the heavenly screen and split the landmass of the Spirit Tip World in half!

"You dare?!" Yan Yu’s roar shook the Yuandu Heaven Domain.

But under Shang Xia’s overwhelming pressure, he was unable to spare even a fraction of his attention to deal with Kou Chongxue, He couldn’t even send away a few high-level True Immortals to help defend the Spirit Tip World.

The counterattack Yan Yu had hoped for, where True Immortals from both worlds would unite against Kou Chongxue, never materialized.

While Yan Yu believed that if half the True Immortals were to work together, they could keep Kou Chongxue at bay, the reality was very different. Those experts lacked the foresight and composure to react accordingly. They had already been stunned by the sheer force of Kou Chongxue’s sword qi. How could they summon the courage to resist?

Star Ships from the Essence Du World that had been circling the fleet and hoping to destroy them to pick up the spoils, fled in panic. They were afraid Kou Chongxue would turn his attention to them.

What they didn’t know was that the single strike Kou Chongxue released had pushed him to his limits as well. After the strike, his dantian was momentarily drained and would require time to recover.

Well, no one outside of Kou Chongxue himself was aware of his brief weakness.

The flagship with Kou Chongxue ignored the retreating ships and sailed directly to the breach in the Spirit Tip World’s heavenly screen, boldly entering the world.

Behind it, the Spirit Ark and over 10 mid-scale Star Ships reformed their formation beyond the heavenly screen.

"Damn, he cut it a little too big... Patriarch Kou basically sliced 40 percent off the Spirit Tip World...” Huang Jinghan chuckled bitterly to Gao Qin.

Gao Qin gave a grunt and nodded. "Our Spirit Ark definitely can’t carry such a massive world fragment... Why don’t you ask Patriarch Kou to slice the smaller part in half again so we can take 20 percent of the Spirit Tip World and leave?”

Huang Jinghan froze and stared at her with a strange expression.

"Hmm. That strike may have been a bit off," Kou Chongxue said, already appearing on the deck of the flagship. Gazing down at the Spirit Tip World, he added calmly, "But since it’s already cut, we may as well tow the full world fragment back. We’ll do exactly what we did with the Azure Qing World.”

Gao Qin frowned but responded, "That might be difficult. If we drag the fragment behind the starships, it’ll slow us down and draw the attention of lurking enemies."

"The better option would be to store it inside the Spirit Ark. It’ll make for faster travel, and even if we’re attacked, the ship’s defenses are strong. It’s far less tempting than dragging a world fragment openly."

Kou Chongxue nodded. "That makes sense. But I admit I’m being greedy. 40 percent of the Spirit Tip World is far more valuable than 20 percent. Larger fragments retain more of the world’s origin, while smaller pieces lose it more easily."

Gao Qin sighed, "Understood. Shall we deploy the chains now?"

Kou Chongxue glanced toward the distant battlefield. "Let’s not waste time. We got lucky. A world with the Spirit Tip World’s heritage and strength shouldn’t have been so easily split.”

The ease with which Kou Chongxue had severed the Spirit Tip World was due not just to his masterful swordsmanship or the fact that their top combatants were tied down. A critical factor was that Guan Ziqing, in his past struggle against Yan Yu, had depleted a large portion of the world origin, leaving its defenses hollow.

Nearly 20 anchor chains dropped from over 10 ships from the Essence Luxuriant World’s fleet. The flagship and Spirit Ark deployed 4 chains as per usual, and every chain was accompanied by a True Immortal who rushed to the landmass they had split off.

The Spirit Tip World had 22 continents. 17 of those had reached a state of perfection.

The severed portion comprised of 10 of those continents, 6 of which had reached a state of perfection. There were also 2 Elysiums on it. Even a fool could tell Kou Chongxue's sword strike wasn’t off in any way. It had been clearly calculated.

Inside the Spirit Tip World, a few True Immortals tried to erase the remnant sword qi Kou Chongxue released to fuse the landmass, but as they approached, they were overwhelmed by a sword intent that bore down on their very souls. It felt as if a cold, indifferent gaze loomed above. If they tried anything, they would be struck down instantly.

Obviously, no one dared to test the consequences.

As the chains fell, several local factions tried to resist, but the combined strength of both Elysiums only had 6 True Immortals in total. They weren’t even close to stopping the Essence Luxuriant World’s experts without Kou Chongxue, even with the suppression of the World’s Will.

Once they secured the area, dozens of experts who specialized in terrain mapping and formations followed. Nearly a hundred elite cultivators and a massive amount of material to set up formations followed.

As everything was playing out, Yan Yu and the high-level True Immortals who were suppressed by Shang Xia repeatedly tried to rally the forces of both worlds to retaliate.

But with Kou Chongxue standing sword-in-hand over the Spirit Tip World like a god of death, no one dared to provoke the Sage.

Meanwhile, inside the Spirit Tip World, some forces that noticed there was no resisting the change immediately changed sides. They tried to defect to the Essence Luxuriant World. Leading the way were the Elysium-level powers on the landmass that had been split off.

Though Guan Ziqing’s death had weakened the pro-Essence Luxuriant World voice in their world, there were always hidden supporters, neutral powers, and fence-sitters waiting for the wind to shift.

Thanks to those people, Xin Lu and several elite cultivators of the Essence Luxuriant World had been well protected. They were released without any injuries and became the bridge between the Essence Luxuriant World and the surrendering factions.
