By the same logic, just as a world’s advancement was tied to the upper limit of a cultivator’s power, perhaps a cultivator’s breakthrough into the Eighth Order was not merely connected to the evolution of a single world but to that of an entire Star Field itself.
Thinking along those lines, Shang Xia finally understood the true intentions of those long-lived Sages, including the Star River Stowaways and the Star Origin Lord himself.
For more than a thousand years, perhaps even longer, they had sought every conceivable method to breach the barrier of the Eighth Tier, yet none had succeeded.
The Star Origin Lord was the clearest example. From failing to advance through the inheritance of the Heaven Observation Sect, to constructing a complete Heavenly Field and failing again, to attempting to replace an Essence World’s Will with his own, and still failing, he had already tried four different paths toward the Eighth Order, culminating in the creation of a Heavenly Field composed of multiple Essence Worlds.
Now that he had established the Six Essence Heavenly Field, Shang Xia suspected its system was still imperfect. Yet the Star Origin Lord had become unusually patient.
Shang Xia did not know whether the Star Origin Lord had truly found the correct path to the Eighth Order, but he was certain of one thing: the man was waiting for the completion of the Super Star Field.
Nor was he alone. Those Star River Stowaways who possessed Eternal Golden Boats were clearly doing the same.
Unlike the Star Origin Lord, however, the stowaways might not have originated from the Chaotic Sea of Stars or the void around it. They were wanderers drifting through the Star River, opportunists hoping to seize their chance for ascension when a Super Star Field emerged.
Shang Xia remained in secluded cultivation for more than half a year. In that time, he had fully repaired the Crimson Soul Tablet, obtained the complete advancement formula, and infused most of the Star Rinsing Silk within his dantian with his inner qi. It was close to transforming into the Starlight Curtain.
During those same months, the Essence Luxuriant World had established all 36 continents, completing the last stage of its evolution into a perfect Essence World, though a few continents still lagged slightly behind.
Within the Heavenly Field centered on the Essence Luxuriant Realm, the five auxiliary Spirit Worlds had also grown considerably, most notably the Spirit Frost World, which grew faster than all others.
It was due largely to the special care provided by Kou Chongxue and Shang Xia.
Beyond them, preparations were already underway to construct a sixth Spirit World. Two additional Azure Worlds had been annexed, and in the outermost reaches of the Heavenly Field, new Barbaric Worlds and scattered Earth Stars were appearing like clusters of glowing beads.
The Essence Luxuriant Heavenly Field had become vast. It was so vast that it was now rivaling, perhaps even surpassing, the ancient and deeply rooted Essence Ming Heavenly Field.
One major reason for deploying so many Barbaric Worlds and Earth Stars along its periphery was to observe how the mingling of origin qi would affect the structure of a Heavenly Field.
Indeed, over the past half-year, the influence of origin qi from the other eight Star Fields had only intensified.
Even though the Heavenly Fields of the Heaven Observation Star Region continually monitored and reinforced the Mirage Domain and the Yuanjing Ruins, the two remaining spatial passages, the Origin Qi from the Illusory Sea of Stars still seeped endlessly into their skies.
At the same time, Origin Essence from the other seven foreign Star Fields was spreading as well. This not only increased the overall amount of Origin Qi but also made it increasingly mixed and unstable, further deepening its infiltration into the Heavenly Fields.
If such hybrid energies were allowed to flow unchecked, they would inevitably disrupt the internal balance of each Heavenly Field system, even threatening the World’s Will, the Origin Seas, and the cultivators themselves.
Yet completely blocking them out was impossible. Unless a Heavenly Field could somehow detach itself entirely from the Chaotic Sea of Stars, the only option was to manage the contamination.
In truth, every Heavenly Field across every Star Region faced the same dilemma.

He established an inner isolation ring encompassing the Essence Luxuriant World and its subordinate Spirit Worlds, surrounded by an outer ring of hundreds of Earth Stars, dozens of Barbaric Worlds, and several Azure Worlds.
Now, the mixed origin qi entering from beyond the Heavenly Field first affected those outer Earth Stars, then gradually spread to the Barbaric Worlds and Azure Worlds.
From the inner ring, more than 100 medium and small Star Ships, carrying thousands of Martial Extermination Realm, Martial Dipper Realm, and even Martial Void Realm experts from the main and subsidiary worlds, monitored the changes caused by the mingling energies.
It was under those circumstances that Shang Xia once again developed the urge to journey to the Star River.
“This has only been half a year, and you’re already leaving again?” When Kou Chongxue received the transmission, he reluctantly returned from the Starsea Market.
Yet when Shang Xia saw him and sensed the transformation of his aura, his initial surprise quickly turned to understanding.
“I didn’t expect you to have such courage, you’ve already begun refining and assimilating origin qi from other Star Fields!”
Shang Xia could clearly feel that Kou Chongxue’s inner qi had become more complex but remained orderly. His entire aura was shifting, showing signs of an impending qualitative leap. He had already begun the process of advancement to become a high-level Sage.

Fortunately, the new system of the Heavenly Field could still allow Kou Chongxue to resume his transformation, though its rate of change would be slower than within the Starsea Market. Still, it would be far safer and more stable.
