SSS Awakening: Creating Primordial Beasts To Be My Summons-Chapter 7: Meeting Other Ouliers
Cohen held the violet slime in his hand, reflecting on its changes.
’So, this is a Primordial being? I have a legendary summon?’
His eyes squinted as he leaned forward, pondering more.
’I guess I’ll only notice the pattern of what makes a being Primordial once I obtain more.’
Putting that aside, he felt the excitement of the slime as it bounced around in his arms.
"Welcome to my team, little one. I’ll be calling you Bobby!"
Receiving its name, Bobby jumped up and down on his hands, before jumping to his head.
"Haha, I hope we get along well."
After completing his Talent test, Cohen was ready to go to the grounds for the session.
He had only wanted a slime as a test, yet he somehow stumbled upon a Rare slime—one he had never even heard of before.
He didn’t plan to make his first set of beasts slimes. They were beasts that were easy to tame because they were quite weak. That sort of thing was a last resort.
’Should I reconsider, since Baptise makes them stronger? But something tells me Bobby is a special case... maybe my first beast gets an extra boost.
’I also don’t know if I can spend the NP carelessly, although I only used 125 out of 4500.’
While Cohen considered, the time for the session approached, forcing him to put it aside.

Using his phone’s map to guide him to the given coordinates, Cohen traveled across the forest swiftly.
He reached the boundary of the outskirts, marked by the Heavenly Spire. encountering guards who he showed his access card too.
He followed a marked path that led to a wide clearing in the forest where people had already gathered.
There were almost 30 people present, each believed to have a C class or Talent at least and an Uncommon or Rare class.
They gathered in groups, telling Cohen parties were already formed.
’It’s natural since it’s their second time fighting beasts,’ he thought, slowing down on his tracks.
At that moment, most people turned to him, scrutinizing him.
Cohen was dressed in a simple t-shirt and joggers for the looseness they offered, his dagger tied to his pants with a rope.
His blue shirt was soaked with blood at the shoulder, and Cohen was generally dirty, making several Outliers instinctively reach for their weapons..
But there was no chaos to keep them alert.
"Hey. I’m Cohen, I’ll be joining the session with you guys."
Showing them his access card, he broke the silence while thinking.
’What made y’all so stunned? I’m just a guy!’
Murmurs began spreading while several Outliers subtly shifted into defensive stances.
"A new guy?"
"Is it one of the guys that were still in coma?"
"I heard about him. He saw the being too! That means he’s very strong."
"What’s that slime on his head?"
At that moment, an Heavenly Spire guild that was handling matters walked towards him.
He had brushed-back brown hair and green eyes, looking like he was in his late 20s. This is Brawn, the official that was present when Cohen woke up.
"Mr. Brawn, sorry I’m late," Cohen said, seeing the man.
Brawn’s eyes twitched, seeing how Cohen looked.
"Mr. Cohen, I see you’ve been busy this fine morning."
He looked up at the slime that was bubbling up and down on Cohen’s head.
"Your abilities are that of a tamer... and you seem to have leveled up."
Cohen shrugged.
"You could say I’m a tamer. And yes, I spent a sufficient amount of time in the outskirts looking for weak monsters to hunt. Been up since dawn and I tell you, it wasn’t easy."
He spoke in a truthful yet deceptive way.
Brawn’s tongue was caught as he was left speechless for a second.
"What the fuck? The dude’s hunting alone?"
"He must have awakened something strong!"
"Still, isn’t he being too bold? He’s underestimating the world of Awakened."
That line gave Brawn an idea of what to say.
"Mr. Cohen, unlike many here, you’ve come across monsters here before awakening and you know of its dangers.
"I advise you to not underestimate this world of Awakened."
Cohen’s eyes narrowed slightly as he recalled his earlier attempt to Inspect Brawn.
It had failed completely because the System didn’t allow Inspection beyond ten levels.
Compared to the other officials he had seen though, the difference in strength was obvious.
"My bad," Cohen laughed dryly.
Brawn and Cohen exchanged a moment of silence. Brawn was the person that pioneered Inspecting the Ouliers while they were knocked out.
Out of the 3 that Inspection didn’t reveal any information except level, Cohen was one of them.
He had nothing weaker than either an S-rank Talent or a Legendary Class.
The odd looking slime on Cohen’s head and his fast level up was proof of the young man’s capabilities.
"Here," Brawn extended a small cube to Cohen, "it holds the items that we promised you."
"Thank you."
Cohen took the small silver cube etched with faint mana accents. Channeling a thread of mana into it, he activated the storage, and three items dropped neatly into his arms.
He had been allowed to choose two common items and one uncommon item as his reward.
His choices were simple but practical: an uncommon dagger, a fitted black chest armor crafted from scaly monster hide, and a top-tier common accessory that enhanced body recovery.
After he wore this, he noticed a boy, age 19, a bit chubby and standing at six feet, with blonde hair and yellow eyes.
The boy walked towards him.
"Hello there... Mr. Cohen, right?"
Cohen, with his Perception of Grays and normal system Inspect, had figured out the level and general strength of people present.
’Stereotyping really is a bitch. Who would’ve thought this chubby kid was one of the strongest here?’
Cohen extended a friendly shake.
"Yes, just call me Cohen."
The chubby boy accepted the shake.
"I’m Dax. Nice slime you got there."
"I know right. I managed to encounter this fellow when I was looking for a monster to tame. You can call him Bobby."
Bobby extended an arm from its spherical shape, waving at Dax.
"Haha, hello to you too, Bobby."
Dax turned back to Cohen.
"Would you like to join our party? We’ll welcome you and bobby with good hands! And our party isn’t quite weak either. I’m at Level 6 myself."
Cohen looked over Dax’s shoulder, closer to the cave entrance, where four individuals stood differently from others.
’I guess he’s trying to gather the strongest too. He is a quick thinker.
’Hmm, people here are between level 4-7. I won’t be able to farm exp well without standing out.’
’I’ll have to hunt on my own later, so I’ll just use this session to see how the other Outliers are and how the dungeons are structured.’
Cohen wore an appreciative smile.
"I hope I don’t drag you guys down."
"Not a chance, Cohen. You’ve already hit Level 2 on your own when most of us were scared to even hunt under supervision. We’d be lucky to have you. Come, meet the team."
Dax chuckled, leading Cohen toward the four figures standing slightly apart.
