SSS Awakening: I Can Create Skills By Will-Chapter 62: Predator in the Camp II
A plan formed in his mind piece by piece.
Pick them from the edges.
Remove the scouts first.
Break their coordination.
Avoid a full alert for as long as possible.
Arthur’s lips curved slightly. It was not much different from the strategies he once used in another life. Isolate, weaken, control the battlefield.
He pictured the rewards waiting inside the camp. Loot. Monster cores. Intent points.
A whole camp of them.
"This is mine," he whispered.
Within minutes, the strategy was clear in his head. His breathing steadied, his thoughts sharpened, and his intent focused.
But before he moved, there was one last preparation.
Arthur opened his interface.
And a faint glow spread before his eyes.

Arthur did not hesitate.
"Yes."
A pulse of energy spread through his body, quiet but deep, like something settling into place within his mind. Threads of intent formed and dissolved around him as if testing their new strength.
And another interface appeared.

⟬ Skill Description ⟭
The user structures sovereign intent into spatial threads, forming a reinforced interference field that dominates local movement and pressure flow.
━━━ PRIMARY EFFECTS ━━━
• Strongly disrupts enemy momentum within the field
• Greatly slows charges, leaps, and rapid assault vectors
• Interferes with coordinated attacks and formation stability
• Expanded radius and improved field stability
━━━ SECONDARY EFFECTS ━━━
• Targets moving through the field suffer increased structural strain
• Movement resistance compounds over time within the area
• Follow-up attacks inflict greater impact due to destabilization

Arthur read through it once, then smiled.
"Worth it."
The pressure in the air around him felt heavier when he willed it. More obedient. More precise.
Now he was ready.
So he moved.
No dramatic charge, no loud step. Just a quiet shift of weight and a soft breath.
A goblin scout stood near the edge of the camp, lazily watching the tunnel behind him. It never noticed the distortion in the air.
Arthur’s intent spread first.
The invisible threads tightened around the goblin’s body. Its movement slowed, its reaction delayed, as if the air had turned thick.
Before it could react, Shhk.
Arthur’s dagger cut across its throat.
He caught the falling body before it hit the ground and lowered it gently. No sound.
He moved again.
Another patrol turned the corner. Arthur released Intent Weave in a narrow radius, just enough to disturb their balance. One stumbled slightly, confused.
That moment was enough.
Thud.
Slash.
And two bodies dropped.
Arthur’s movements were clean and efficient, each step flowing into the next. He shifted between control and attack naturally, the result of hours of training.
A goblin spearman noticed something wrong and raised its weapon.
Arthur’s intent field expanded.
The monster’s thrust slowed mid motion, its arms trembling under invisible pressure.
Arthur stepped forward calmly and drove his dagger into its chest.
"Too slow."
Then he vanished again into the shadows.
One by one the outer guards disappeared. The camp remained unaware, though tension slowly spread among the remaining goblins. They sensed something but could not find it.
Arthur felt a thrill rise in his chest.
This was hunting.
But no plan survives perfectly.
As a goblin archer climbed down from its position earlier than expected and spotted a corpse lying near the firelight. Its eyes widened and it shrieked.
"GRAAA!"
The camp erupted instantly.
Arthur clicked his tongue. "Tch. So much for quiet."
Dozens of goblins rushed toward him, weapons raised. Warriors charged, spearmen formed lines, and arrows rained from above.
Arthur stepped forward instead of retreating.
His intent surged outward, and the air thickened.
Goblins charging toward him slowed as if trapped in mud. Their formation broke, and their timing ruined. Some collided into each other while others staggered forward helplessly.
Arthur moved through them like a shadow.
Slash!
A throat opened.
Crack!
A kick shattered a knee.
A spear thrust toward him, but the momentum faltered inside his field. Arthur sidestepped easily and drove his dagger upward.
Blood sprayed.
He laughed softly.
"Come on. Is this all?"
More goblins rushed him together, trying to overwhelm him with numbers. Their coordination might have crushed a normal explorer, but within Arthur’s field their movements interfered with each other.
They tripped. They slowed. And they exposed themselves.
Arthur flowed between them, switching from control to attack and back again.
Intent Weave restrained.
Execution followed.
Boom. A heavy kick sent a goblin flying.
Shhk. A clean cut severed another’s arm.
Arrows shot toward him but bent off target as the field disrupted their speed. Arthur closed the distance instantly, appearing before the archers.
"Bad position."
Two quick strikes ended them.
The thrill of battle burned in his chest. His senses sharpened, his movements grew faster, and his intent surged stronger with every kill.
Blood splashed across his clothes. His dagger dripped red. His calm smile never left.
The remaining goblins hesitated. Fear spread among them.
They circled him cautiously, their earlier aggression replaced with unease. The strange human standing among their fallen kin radiated pressure that made their instincts scream.
Arthur tilted his head slightly.
"What happened?" he asked softly. "You were loud a moment ago."
A goblin warrior roared and charged in rage.
Arthur expanded his field fully.
The creature’s charge slowed drastically, its body trembling under the pressure. Before it could resist, Arthur stepped forward and drove his blade through its skull.
Thud.
The body collapsed at his feet.
The others stepped back.
Arthur rolled his shoulder casually and looked around at the circle of monsters.
"You should try running," he said quietly. As he watch none of them move.
The battle resumed, but now it was no longer a fight for survival from Arthur’s side. It was a hunt.
