Chapter 141: Chapter 141 Medical Center

’Now then, time to go...I can’t take the hawk anywhere so I’ll leave it here and check on it first thing in the morning before Victoria gets here, then I’ll take it back to my room’

’After class, I’ll pick it up before Ava gets to the room, but is it okay to leave it here, I hope it doesn’t screech at night or someone might come to investigate, I should leave while it’s eating’

Roman slowly walked away as the hawk picked the meat apart with its beak. He exited the building and closed the door behind him.

The building was secret, so no one would check it unless Victoria, but she’s probably gone for the day, so Roman wasn’t worried. Now, he needed to take care of his hands and himself.

He was beyond tired at this point, but he couldn’t just go to bed, and as he was walking past the library, he met Reina, who was walking towards the library.

"Roman, are you coming from the... you’re not coming from the library," Reina said as she looked at him.

"What do you think?"

"You’re training in secret, why aren’t you training on the training ground...oh, you want people to be surprised"

"Surprised, why would I want people to be surprised? I just wanted to do something on my own, besides, Ava is training me in Mana control," Roman replied.

"Ava is training you, is she there...also there’s something I wanted to ask, did you have sex with her yesterday?" Reina asked with a smile on her face.

"Ohh, was she loud?"

"I have no idea until I came out of the room, I wanted to take a quick night dip in the bath when I heard a sound, I thought it was distress then I heard it again and again, I wish we were roommates"

"Are you jealous?"

"Why would I be when I was the first to meet you, and...is that blood on your arm?" Reina said as she closed the distance and raised Roman’s hand up.

"It’s blood, what were you doing that could cause cuts like this, You should go to the medical center for help"

’That’s right, there’s a medical center in the academy, how did I not remember’

"That’s where I was planning to go, then I saw you. Are you heading to the library? You know you can’t get spell books if that’s what you’re going for," Roman said.

"No, I was going to read more on summoning, I haven’t really gotten into that yet, I’ve been focused on improving my Mana control, at the end of this week, all summoners are required to tame their first beast" Reina replied.

"Oh, okay then, also when you get back to the dorm, come meet me in my room, we have some things to discuss," Roman said as he walked past her.

"Okay, later then" Reina replied as she continued towards the library.

Roman had forgotten there was a medical building in the academy. At first, his plan was to find a healer among the class 1 students to heal him, but now he walked towards the medical building.

It was a building sitting on its own at the other end, the closest building to it was the research department, which they didn’t have access to.

Roman arrived at the medical center, pushed the door open, and walked in.

The medical center wasn’t that big, but it looked clean and quiet inside. The walls were painted a soft cream color, and the place smelled faintly of herbs and something bitter Roman couldn’t place.

A few beds lined the walls, each with neatly folded sheets. Small wooden shelves stood beside some of the beds, filled with bottles of potions and bandages stacked in piles.

The space behind the beds had doors, so there were rooms behind. The beds here were for emergency care.

The medical center was bathed in orange-like crystals, giving the room a warm but sleepy glow.

Roman stepped in quietly, his boots barely making a sound on the smooth floor.

In the center of the room, two females sat behind the counter.

Both wore light blue robes, but right now they were leaning back in their chairs, eyes closed, breathing slowly.

Both of them were sleeping.

One of them had her head tilted back, mouth slightly open, while the other had folded her arms on the table and was resting her cheek on them, her long hair spilling over her robe.

The place felt peaceful, almost too peaceful, like it hadn’t seen anyone in days or even weeks. After all, the war wasn’t near the capital, and healers were always on the battlefield, so this medical center was for injuries in training or such.

Roman stood there for a moment, feeling awkward, the dried blood on his arm itching a little.

’So... do I wake them, or just wait?’ he thought, glancing around at the quiet room.

’They look so beautiful sleeping’ Roman muttered as he walked closer.

Both of them had black hair and almost similar build, but of course, one thing stood out to Roman, they both had a large bust.

Not the Amelia-type large, but it was bigger than average, one of them was resting back so Roman could see the bump even under her robe, they were probably in their mid-twenties or so.

’Damn, I already have a hard-on looking at them, I’m sure we’re alone, I’m definitely going to hit this’

Roman finally tapped on the counter. At first, they were still asleep, with one of them moving a bit, and then Roman tapped on the counter again, and one of them woke up.

The one resting on the counter woke up and saw someone in front of her. She quickly tapped the other one before lying back down.

"Ohh, why are you...oh there’s someone here, just give me a minute" she mumbled as she stretched her body and then cleaned her eyes with her hands before standing up.

"How can I help...male?" She paused, blinking twice, then looking at Roman before swallowing.

"You’re the male in Class 1?" She asked.

"Yes, I injured my arm training" Roman replied.

"Ohh, let me see," she said as she came out from behind the counter. Now, the second one slowly sat up, her hair a little messy from sleep. She blinked at Roman, looking surprised, then covered her mouth as she yawned before looking at him again.

The first healer, now standing, moved closer to Roman.

Up close, Roman saw she had brown eyes and a tired smile. Her robe was tied at the waist, and as she walked, it shifted just enough for Roman to notice her curves.

"Show me your arm," she said softly.

Roman raised his arm. The scratches were shallow but there were a few thin lines where blood had dried. His skin itched, and some sand stuck to the wounds.

"Oh, it looks worse than it is, but we should clean it," she said, reaching out carefully as she touched his hands.

Her fingers were warm against his skin as she turned his arm gently to see better.

"Wait over there, I’ll be with you," she said to Roman and walked back to the counter while he walked towards one of the beds, still looking at the girls.

The second healer got up, her robe slipping slightly off one shoulder before she pulled it back up. She had the same black hair but tied in a lower ponytail.

"He really is the male from Class 1," the second one whispered softly, as if to herself, while watching Roman closely as he sat down.

Roman caught her staring at his face, then at his chest, then quickly looking away.

The bed was softer than it looked as Roman sat down, then she walked towards him.

She knelt beside him, close enough that Roman could smell the faint scent of herbs on her robe.

"This might sting a bit," she warned, as she poured a bit of greenish liquid onto a cloth.

Roman watched as she carefully dabbed the wounds, her fingers brushing his skin lightly. Her touch was gentle but firm, and Roman felt a small shiver from the cold liquid.

The second healer stood nearby, arms folded under her chest, still watching. "What were you doing to get scratches like this?" she asked starting a conversation.

Roman smiled lightly. "Training... but I guess I got carried away."

"Mm, you should be careful. Your skin isn’t as tough as you think," the first healer spoke softly, glancing up at him with a small smile.

Roman chuckled quietly, still enjoying the warmth of her hands on his skin. Now, he was looking for a way to play this. From what he had seen, only the two of them were around, and he wasn’t expecting anyone to come in.

’They’re both really pretty’ he thought, trying not to stare too obviously.

The healer moved the cloth away, checking if the blood was gone. "Almost done," she murmured.

Roman’s heart beat a little faster, half from the closeness of his hands to her breasts and half from what he was thinking next.
