Lin Sunji walked to Bei Sangyun. "Please stop this, Sangyun. You already caused a lot of damage to our family. Don’t make grandfather disappointed."

Bei Sangyun found her words funny. Lin Sunji would really use every chance she could get to ruin her.

She smiled evilly, "Then make sure to keep your mouth and your lackey’s mouth in check. If she says something like that again, I would sew her mouth shut." A flash of ruthlessness passed in her eyes. She did not seem to be joking.

Wang Jia felt Bei Sangyun’s intense gaze and unconsciously covered her mouth.

Lin Sunji narrowed her eyes in displeasure.

She really couldn’t read Bei Sangyun. She thought this incident would bring Bei Sangyun a lot of pressure and put her in the corner. But the latter seemed unbothered. She did not even attend the last family meeting.

Bei Sangyun seemed not to care about her reputation and just said anything she wanted. Was she truly unconcerned?

Seeing that the girls in front of her remained silent, Bei Sangyun became uninterested. She kicked Wang Jia’s chair before going back to her seat. Of course, she did not forget to give a challenging gaze at the silent Sophia.

Sophia’s silence throughout the drama made Bei Sangyun puzzled. She expected that she would make a big fuss out of it to ruin her image in front of everyone. But she didn’t, which was unexpected.

As Bei Sangyun returned to her seat, Lin Sunji asked one of her friends to call the cleaning staff.

The room was quiet.

Everyone learned today that although the tyrant had a lower status within the Lin family because of her origin of birth, it did not change the fact that she was ruthless and frightening.

It was best to not offend her.

Sophia went to the last row where Bei Sangyun was seated.

Bei Sangyun smirked inwardly. Well, she was still right. There’s no way Sophia would not grab this opportunity to ruin her. She was just wondering when Sophia would make a move.

She then saw Sophia drag an empty chair. This caused Bei Sangyun to raise her brow. What was she doing? Did she want to sit in this row?

"Hey." Fei Chuan’s voice disrupted her thoughts. Bei Sangyun turned to look at him.

Fei Chuan: "Your hands."

Bei Sangyun: ?

Fei Chuan impatiently repeated, "Stretched out your hands."

Bei Sangyun was confused, but she still followed his words. She displayed her hands.

Fei Chuan sprayed a lot of alcohol on her palm. "I can’t let you spread bacteria to me."

Bei Sangyun: "..."

Sophia arrived at the last row just in time to see Fei Chuan spraying alcohol for Bei Sangyun. His long bangs covered his face as usual. But from this angle, Sophia could see his tall nose and cherry-like lips.

Her heart skipped a beat. She put a strand of her hair behind her ear and called Fei Chuan, "Uhm, Fei Chuan, I’ll be sitting in the last row with you. Please take care of me."

Her sickening sweet voice caused Bei Sangyun to look at her sharply.

Sophia did not come to argue with her but to sit with them instead. What was she planning?

.....

It didn’t take long for Bei Sangyun to realize what Sophia was up to. Throughout the whole morning, Sophia kept initiating conversations with Fei Chuan.

"I am sorry about last time. I did not mean to throw the drink at you. Sangyun is just really hateful. She left me in the mountain, and I got hurt. She did not apologize but mocked me instead, which made me angry. You see, I am not usually like that."

"If it’s alright with you, can I treat you at lunch break? I want to properly apologize over a meal."

Bei Sangyun was seated in the middle of the two. Fei Chuan was on her left side while Sophia was sitting in Richard’s seat. Her face was darkening as Sophia kept on talking while pretending she did not exist between them.

"What kind of food do you like? Do you have any preferences?"

"What is your favorite drink? Mine is strawberry...."

Bei Sangyun suddenly slapped the desk loudly, which caused everyone in the room to look at her. The teacher at the front also glanced her way.

"Is something the matter, student Lin Sangyun?"

Bei Sangyun pointed at Sophia, "Teacher, this student keeps chattering and bothering my studies."

The teacher glanced at Sophia, who turned red. This was one of the foreign exchange students. How could she scold her? But it was Bei Sangyun who made the complaint. The teacher gently asked Sophia.

"My dear, is there something you don’t understand? You can ask me instead. My French is not that fluent compared to your language teacher, but I still know a bit. I’ll help you to the best of my abilities."

Sophia shook her head. After the teacher looked away, she glared at Bei Sangyun. How dare this lowly woman embarrass her in front of Fei Chuan?!

"You’ll pay for this," Sophia muttered.

Bei Sangyun met her angry gaze. She smirked, "Embarrassed now? You are talking non-stop by yourself. I was wondering when you are going to stop embarrassing yourself."

Sophia turned red in shame. Throughout the ’conversation,’ Fei Chuan did not answer her even once. He did not even spare her a glance.

Seeing Bei Sangyun’s proud smile made Sophia burn in jealousy. Fei Chuan only talked to Bei Sangyun.

Hmph! She did not believe Fei Chuan would continue ignoring her! He would fall for her sooner or later!

She only needed to separate the two. With Bei Sangyun around, it would be hard to approach Fei Chuan. Sophia glanced at her watch.

When would her brother arrive? She needed him to take Bei Sangyun away!

.....

However, Richard did not arrive even when lunch break passed. But the moment that Sophia was waiting for finally arrived. Bei Sangyun was called to the teacher’s office.

Now that irritating wall was gone, Sophia sat on Bei Sangyun’s chair—beside Fei Chuan.

"Hi, Fei Chuan." Sophia flashed him her best smile. "You did not respond to my invitation earlier. I also did not find you at lunch. Where did you go?"

Fei Chuan and Bei Sangyun disappeared at lunch. Sophia suspected the two ate out somewhere. This made her jealous again. How come Fei Chuan was only willing to talk and spend his time with that bastard girl?

Fei Chuan glanced at Bei Sangyun’s seat that was now occupied by someone else. Because Bei Sangyun’s chair was close to him, he could smell the sweet strong perfume around Sophia. The sickening smell made him nauseous.

He frowned. "Go away."

Sophia’s smile turned stiff. Fei Chuan’s abrupt and rude reply took her by surprise. But she still resumed her smile, "Are you still angry about last time? I am really sorry. I did not intend to throw it at you—"

Fei Chun raised his head and gazed at her with irritation, "Are you deaf? I said go away. That seat belongs to someone else."

Sophia: "..."

She became flustered at Fei Chuan’s cold shoulder.
