Obscurus, Hyperspace

Three days have passed sicne they have left the Phoenix Prime in the heart of the Eternal Empire of the Asurya, and because the Obscurus was going at half of the maximum speed that was possible, they have already crossed a rather good part of their journey.

For most of the time, Arcturus spent his time on the deck of the starship training, either sparring with Jeniael or training alone. Even though he was a Beta-Grade Warrior, Jeniael was able to keep up with him during their spars for most of the time.

Though it wasn't really that surprising, in fact, due to her Ancient Warrior Path, which gave her far more benefits than Arcturus was receiving from using the Physical Strengthening Serums.

She was easily able to keep up with him for several hours, after which she would become tired and call the spar end, though it was still rather admirable. Arcturus knew that once she reached the Beta-Grade, then in pure physical confrontation, he wouldn't be her opponent.

When there was some time, he was also teaching Zehal swordsmanship, and he was rather surprised how fast she was progressing. Obviously, she wasn't really any kind of genius with a sword, but at the same time, she was talented more than enough to defeat at least some random things.

Right now, he was once again teaching Zehal the swordsmanship, because the Heiress of the House Alvix was rather insistent on learning the swordsmanship from him directly, and he was happy to oblige, because he profited the most from it.

Arcturus realized that probably the best method of deepening an understanding of the Way of the Sword was teaching the others, and it was greatly paying off.

He obtained an increase of another 5% in the Transformation of the Skill Basic Swordsmanship to the Grandmaster Realm, which put his current progress at 25% overall.

Not to mention, he also got some minor growth in the Sardau Star Sword as he was using this Sword Style when he was sparring against Zehal, while he was pointing out the mistakes that Zehal was constantly making when she was swinging the sword.

Which was a very nice progression overall.

With this tempo, he would really become a Grandmaster in the Basic Swordsmanship in a few months, which would probably break a few records across the entirety of the Cosmos that somebody managed to reach the Grandmaster Realm so young.

"We should be stopping Zehal... you are making rather staggering progress. I can guess that soon enough, we can proceed to the more complicated styles."

Arcturus stopped their training when they noticed that Zehal was already catching her breath and was becoming pretty tired. It was the best time to stop in the training and let her rest, among the three of them, she was farthest from the physical fighting as much as possible.

"If you say so..."

Zehal muttered as she herself was very tired from the training, and she too wanted to rest.

She wasn't a physical fighter, swordsman, or anything, and she was doing it only because she wanted to get closer to Arcturus.

Zehal knew that because she was focusing her development in an entirely different and opposite direction to that of Arcturus, it was hard for them to spend some time with him, thus she came up with the idea of teaching her swordsmanship.

It was a rather good scheme, and she even had to admit that Arcturus was a pretty good teacher, as she learned a lot about swordsmanship from him. At least she won't be that much defenseless when she was fighting, as the close-quarter combat was her greatest weakness that was never really covered.

"We would be almost crossing through the borders between the Phoenix Star Region and the Wildstar Star Region."

Arcturus stated as he helped Zehal sit down comfortably, as she was pretty tired already.

It took them five days from the heart of the Imperium to the borders between the Phoenix Star Region and the Wildstar Star Region. Which meant that they would be going through very strict border control, as the borders were patrolled extremely tightly within the Imperium.

Especially the borders between the Phoenix Star Region and other Star Regions, as the Phoenix Star Region was the center of the Empire. Fortunately enough, they had their papers right and everything was alright with the Obscurus, so passing through the inspection wouldn't be any problem.

"I would be going back to my chambers. Call me when we are nearing the border check."

Zehal said as she then returned to her quarters to rest while Arcturus continued training because he still had some more time until they reached the border control.

On the borders between the Star Regions, their starship would undergo comprehensive scans and checks of the contraband, forbidden items, potential enemies, spies, or even illegal immigrants.

Believe it or not, there were actually many illegal immigrants who attempted to cross borders and enter the Imperial Sovereign Space.

These people were not attempting to enter the centers of the civilization within the Imperium, but rather to make their living on one of countless habitable planets that were capable of holding life.

Unfortunately for them, all of them were caught by the Imperial Navy and most often executed on the spot. Only the ones that were valuable and could be ransomed back to their respective nations were captured, imprisoned, and put into use at a later date.

Arcturus was practising the Psionic Battle Arts for some time, as he wanted to do something different after training in the physical exercises for almost the entire day. Training in the Psionic Battle Arts was something that he was doing more or less because he needed to do it, to compensate for his weakness in the Psionic Skills.

This was something that all Psykers, especially those with the Super-High Risk Primal Ranked Psyker Abilities, needed to deal with. Though at least, he was getting some results after attending the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy.

At the same time, his Psionics Skills were becoming more and more refined than before, and he had also learned not to overly depend on his Super-High Risk Primal Psyker Ability Dimensional Ability.

Most of the Psykers, especially those with the powerful Psyker Abilities met their doom because they were overconfident in their ability.
