Jeremy spent one more hour stabilizing his strength. Then he stood up to take a bath.

About 20 minutes later,

He stepped out of the bath, changed into his uniform, and began to get ready. He knew everyone was waiting for the duel.

In order to win quickly, he thought of a plan. He hoped that it would work.

Meanwhile,

The whole First Year Students were excited. Even though the 2nd and other senior years wanted to watch the duel live, since it's a first-year area, they could only wait for the news.

The duel between Beast Tamers was a common occurrence. But not every day can everyone witness the duel of S-Grade Beast Tamers.

One such event was going to happen today. Even those families connected to Central University 14 were looking forward to the duel.

At this point in time, most of the families were familiar with the name "STRIKER." It's considered one of the old professions today.

But it has its origins in the early days of the mutation, where a strong person with body talent rose to protect the human population. That strong person didn't have a suitable Lifeline beast.

He alone fought against many colossal corrupted beasts and earned the title "STRIKER." After him, not many with body talent rose to his level.

The appearance of Jeremy Night is rekindling hope in many people's hearts. Having one more powerful talent is helpful to the Human Alliance.

Jeremy Night has already shown promise with his Supreme Combat Body Talent. If someone appears with the same talent next year, that person will be recruited by a powerful force.

So in today's duel, many families are looking forward to the result. Unlike the First Year Students and a few First Year Department Instructors, not many were optimistic about Jeremy Night in City A.

These families and various forces divide talent based on its grade. Though Jeremy Night has achieved many things, he is still not an S-Grade Talent. In many people's minds, he is weaker than 2 S-Graders.

Both the Lindsey and Scott families were paying attention to the news. They thought May Lindsey and Victor Scott would be the faces of the First Years in Central University 14.

However, the appearance of Jeremy Night spoiled their dream. Not only was Jeremy Night strong, but he had also made some achievements as well.

Considering his own City Governor family background and Dean Carolyn's support, these families didn't dare to entertain evil thoughts about Jeremy Night.

Especially after hearing about Jeremy Night's performance during the Beast Invasion, they had no reason to target him.

It's just that both families felt May Lindsey and Victor Scott were not as famous as Jeremy Night. They were stuck in the shadow of Jeremy Night.

If they wanted to change this, then this challenge duel was the only way. If they managed to defeat Jeremy Night, then everyone would forget about him.

May Lindsey and Victor Scott would get the spotlight.

Time passed,

The students from other departments were going towards the First Year Training Ground. Each and every one was excited for today's duel.

Betsy Lowe and Daniel were going there with Instructor Jacob. The three of them were carrying solemn expressions on their faces.

Though Jeremy Night had proven to them he was strong, when it came to fighting against S-Grade Talent, their will seemed to waver.

It was not their fault. Historically, Beast Tamers with S-Grade Talent had done well for the Human Alliance.

There were other famous Beast Tamers with A and B-Grade Talent, but their numbers were low. Not many with A-Grade could reach a similar height as the S-Grade Talents.

"Don't worry, Jeremy Night won't disappoint us," Instructor Jacob said to them.

"I trust brother Jeremy. It's just that he is strong at close quarters. I don't know what he will do if May Lindsey decides to attack from a distance," Daniel Stone said in a doubtful tone.

"I think Jeremy must have thought about this issue," Betsy Lowe said in a calm tone.

Daniel nodded his head. The three of them continued to walk toward the Training Ground.

Meanwhile,

"Girl, you have done a good job," Old man Derek said to Instructor Ariel.

He was looking at the vast ground which had been made ready for the duel. Those who wanted to watch the duel could do so from a distance.

Ariel Burt looked at the ground. She didn't know how Jeremy Night was going to win against May Lindsey. It was going to be his great challenge.

Old man Derek noticed that Instructor Ariel was lost in thought. He thought of something, and a smile appeared on his face.

"I heard you and Instructor Jacob are good friends. Then you must be worried about that kid," Old man Derek said.

"Yes, I know he can fight across ranks. But S-Grade Talent is different after all. Their elemental manipulation is on a different level."

"I don't know about May Lindsey, but Jeremy Night won't be defeated easily," Ariel Burt said.

Her eyes flashed with a gleam.

"Seems like you have been observing that kid as well," Derek said.

"But that kid has daring ambition. He wants to go to other zones," he added.

Hearing that, Ariel Burt was shocked inside. She turned around to look at old man Derek.

Derek said, "He wants to go to the top zone. He doesn't feel like there's any competition here. If the S-Grade Talent girl defeats him, then that kid will stay here obediently."

"But if that kid wins, he will look for a way to leave this zone," he added.

"I'll talk to him. It's a very dangerous place. The competition there is severe. If Jeremy Night doesn't handle it properly, he might be dealt with by others," she said.

"You can do that. We have tried, but he is not listening," Derek said.

Meanwhile,

Jeremy walked out of the room. He saw that others in the dorm had already left. He then began to leave.

Shortly afterwards,

He started walking towards the Training Ground Area.
