STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer-Chapter 528: Tyrant Black Centipede
Wilderness:
A Tier-6 Black Centipede is living nearby. It’s over 80ft long with hundreds of legs. It has mouth parts with powerful jaws. Including the terrible poison claws.
Right now, it’s resting under the ground right next to the huge bed rock. The place is surrounded with vegetation. It’s laying low to hunt the prey.
The Centipede beast is vigilant. If there are prey trespasses in this place, then it would know. Not knowing, the VANQUISH Team is looking for the resources in this area.
Suddenly, the Centipede opened its eyes. It caught the scent of the prey. But it’s not the scent of the beasts. But the scent of the human beast tamers.
The scent immediately excited the beasts and ignited its bloodthirst. The Tier-6 Beast are quite intelligent. The Black Centipede was angry realising that humans have trespassed into their core area.
These beasts were aware of the battle sometime ago. The Colossal beast living in their territory had warned the humans. Yet the humans had dared to come here.
Swoosh!
The Black Centipede moves. It’s going to hunt humans. The two antennas are moving. It quickly found the location. It’s a few metres away from the spot.
Swoosh!
The Black Centipede bolted out towards the location. Its body is flying like a projectile.
On the other hand, the VANQUISH Team were doing their job. Their Captain Devon was in a hurry. They have come to the core area on a whim.
But from the beginning, he is feeling a sense of crisis. He didn’t know why but he wanted to find the resources as soon as possible.
They have already got some in the inner area. They won’t be returning empty handed. So he won’t be spending too much time here.
Rustle!
But his expression changes the next second.
"Be careful," Devon shouted.
Hearing that his team members alerted. They turned around and saw a massive beast looking at them from above.
The Beast Tamers’ face turned pale with fright. The Tier-6 Black Centipede is casually looking over them. But its oppressive presence has scared others.

Devon moved towards his members. He appeared before them facing the Tier-6 Black Centipede.
His forehead is dripping with cold sweat. He was expecting some corrupted beasts to appear. But he didn’t expect it would be a Tier-6 Black Centipede.
Devon is looking at the venom claws. It’s not ordinary Tier-6 Corrupted Beast but
"Ready to flee from the place," Devon said in a low tone.
Hearing that members nodded their heads. Devon can fight against the Beast. But he wouldn’t guarantee the victory. But the Tier-4 Beast Tamers are cannon fodders.
tchk-tchk!
The Black Centipede made a threatening sound before leaping forward to attack.
Seeing that Tier-4 Beast Tamers are terrified. Devon was nervous as well. He glanced at others.
"Go!"
He shouted. The Tier-4 Beast Tamers turned around and started fleeing. But the Black Centipede caught one of them.
The powerful jaw caught the body. The Beast Tamer was scared sh!t. He couldn’t even call his lifeline beast. The beast’s jaw tore the body into pieces in the blink of an eye.
Swoosh!
It gave a chance to other Beast Tamers precious seconds to flee. They hop on to their lifeline beast and fled from the place.
A big cat is running through the forest. Devon sat on its back. Their current direction is towards the underground tunnel.
Not faraway from the tunnel. Jeremy Night is hiding inside the tree hole.
As the time went by, the Black Centipede chased down others. Its speed is faster than the Tier-4 Beast Tamers.
A Tier-4 Beast Tamer is flying on a blue sparrow. But the sparrow wasn’t able to escape from the sudden attack.
trrrr-trrrr!
The sparrow was alarmed. It was caught by the corrupted beasts. The Black Cenipede immediately pounced on it. The Beast Tamer was thrown off the sparrow.
Pfff!
In the blink of an eye, the blue sparrow became food for the Black Centipede.
Aaaghh!
The Beast Tamer screams out. He is suffering immensely. Because of the death of the lifeline beast. His mental zone cracked. He became crippled.
tchk-tchk!
The Black Centipede tasted the Lifeline beast. I was satisfied with the food. Then the beast gaze fell on the Human Beast Tamer.
Swoosh!
The Beast Tamer was not himself. He is experiencing pain all over his body. Before he could realise what happened.
He found himself between the jaws of the Black Centipede.
Aaaghhh!
He screamed. The Black Centipede bit the Human Beast Tamer. It began to chew down.
Pfff!
Blood splatter across the ground. It didn’t hurry. It has already caught the scent of others. After eating the human Beast Tamer.
Swoosh!
The Black Centipede starts chasing down the next target.
Meanwhile,
Devon reaches the other side of the Tunnel. He was about to go deeper. But he suddenly felt the presence of something.
He asked his big cat about this feeling. The big cat has powerful senses. It quickly found the human scent coming from one of the giant shade trees.
It communicated with the contractor Beast Tamer.
Devon’s eyes sharpened. He got a target behind his back. He wanted to get rid of the tail. It’s only possible if he shifted the target.
Then he communicates with his big cat. The Big Cat then started moving towards the Giant Shade Tree.
Meanwhile,
Jeremy Night is practising the breathing method. Suddenly, he feels a sense of crisis. It was real. His heart skips a beat. He then ended the practice.
He removed a small portion of leaves covering the entrance. He then uses his eye ability to look outside.
He then spotted a human beast tamer riding a big cat. They are coming in his direction. As they got closer, he recognised Beast Tamer. It was the same person who blocked his path earlier.
He doesn’t know why? They are coming towards his direction. He observes their facial expression. It was evident that they knew someone was hidden inside the giant tree.
"Could they be here to attack me?" Jeremy thought.
Then he looks around to find out their team members. But there were none.
