Jeremy Night killed a few Tier-4 Purple Snakes in succession. Because of this, the burden on the front team was reduced somewhat, though the threat was not over.
But Jeremy Night remained alert. He could see the Tier-5 Purple Snakes yet to emerge from the forest. The situation was different on the other sides of the city walls. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
With his sharp eyesight, he had spotted many Tier-5 Purple Snakes attacking the other sections of the wall. The Tier-5 higher-ups were dealing with them.
The situation here was totally chaotic. Ben, the middle-aged man, started attacking the Purple Snakes with his lifeline beast bull.
Melody and Kara continued to coordinate together. Their cat-type Lifeline Beasts were already drenched in blood.
Tom’s Fiery Flame Lizard was roasting the lower-tier Purple Snakes, while Dan was using his Armadillo Lifeline Beast to crush them.
Everything was going fine. As time went by, Jeremy used his handgun to eliminate the Tier-4 beasts.
At this time, his teammates were convinced that this Tier-2 young man was a genius. No wonder he had volunteered to come here.
They couldn’t fight across ranks. But Jeremy Night was not only fighting across ranks, he was killing across Tiers easily.
Just as Jeremy Night thought, the Tier-5 Snakes were not making moves yet. Suddenly, a large Purple Snake sprinted out from the forest.
The massive snake body, over 20ft in size, appeared before everyone. Ben and the other teammates were shocked.

The Tier-5 Purple Snake was coming right towards them. The team members were only Tier-4 Beast Tamers; they couldn’t face a Tier-5 beast.
"What do we do?"
"The beast can spit poison!" Tom shouted.
He ordered his Fiery Lizard to retreat, and the lizard appeared behind Tom.
Melody and Kara exchanged looks. They too called back their Lifeline Beasts because of the Tier-5 Purple Snake.
The other Tier-4 and Tier-3 Purple Snakes moved away from the Tier-5 beast. Tom, Dan, Melody, and Kara looked scared.
Swoosh!
Jeremy Night’s eyes flickered. He looked at the team members. They were all Tier-4 Beast Tamers.
A hint of worry flashed in his eyes. He had seen a higher-tier Purple Snake shooting out poison earlier. It had destroyed one part of the city wall.
He feared that this Tier-5 Purple Snake could spit out poison now. Just as he was about to pull out his handgun to shoot.
Swoosh!
"Beast, you dare!"
A black arrow cut through the air, reaching the Purple Snake in a single shot. Under the shocking gaze of everyone, the black arrow pierced through the head of the Tier-5 Purple Snake and came out the back.
Puchak!
Blood splattered on the ground. The massive lifeless body then fell down.
Seeing that, everyone sighed in relief. They were scared that they were going to die. Fortunately, one of the commanders on the city wall had made a move.
He was a middle-aged man with a bow and arrow talent. Whenever he used his talent, he rarely missed the target.
Every hit was a bullseye.
Jeremy Night relaxed as well. He had been worried that the front line was going to be breached.
Meanwhile
Governor Black’s big rhino had already crushed several Tier-6 Purple Snakes. It was marching forward. At the same time, Governor Black was staying alert.
His main target was the Tier-7 Purple Snakes.

Suddenly, he noticed three Tier-6 Purple Snakes hiding ahead of them. They were waiting to ambush them.
"Be careful," he said to the rhino.

The big rhino made a sound before stomping the ground. It was one of its abilities. The ground cracked under the stomping.
In a flash, the crack extended forward, stretching up to the hideout of the Tier-6 snakes.
They couldn’t afford to hide anymore. The Tier-6 Purple Snakes leaped forward to attack.
Swoosh!
One of them spat venom. The venom shot from its fangs, targeting the rhino.
Seeing that, Governor Black made a move. He was expecting such an attack. He immediately appeared before the big rhino and brought his black shield forward.
Boom!
At that moment, he started using his talent. A mysterious power flowed from his body and covered the huge shield.
Boom!
The purple venom stream struck the huge shield in a flash.
Zzzz!
The purple poison tried to corrode the shield, but the shield was protected by a powerful layer.
Boom!
Black then disappeared from the spot. He flew over to the Tier-6 Purple Snake and smashed its big head with the shield.
Pfff!
He was a Tier-8 Beast Tamer. The Tier-6 Purple Snake was not a match. The head was easily smashed in a single move.
Black then moved towards the other beasts. In the blink of an eye, he killed the other two remaining beasts.
His real goal was to attack the Tier-7 Purple Snake which had shot out the poison arrow earlier.
It had already taken several lives. The Tier-7 beasts were cunning; they were purposely luring people to come inside the forest.
Governor Chloe Morgan’s Side
Her Tier-8 Snow Tail Sparrow had successfully frozen many Tier-4 and Tier-5 beasts. But she knew she had to attack and kill the Tier-7 beasts behind them.
Otherwise, the fight would continue to occur.
Swoosh!
She was standing on the back of the sparrow. The giant sparrow was flying over the forest.
Swoosh!
All of a sudden, a purple poison arrow was shot at the sparrow. It was done by one of the hiding Tier-7 Purple Snakes.
The purple poison arrow cut through the air, traveling at high speed.
Governor Chloe saw the attack. Her expression changed drastically. She ordered her sparrow to respond.
Kee-Kee!
Her sparrow made a sound before releasing ice spikes at the poison arrow.
Boom!
Both of them came in contact with each other. The ice power immediately froze the poison. Because of the impact force, an explosion occurred a second later.
The purple ice broke into pieces and fell to the ground. The remaining ice spikes continued shooting towards the target.
Boom!
The Tier-7 Purple Snake, which was hiding, was struck by the ice spikes. The Tier-8 ice spikes were strong, yet they only broke the scales of the Tier-7 beast.
The Purple Snake hissed out loud before continuing to hide.
