STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer-Chapter 612: Part 1: Tier -5 Green Scorpion danger looming
Wilderness:
The green scorpions rushed out of the bushes and started targeting the Beast Tamers. The clash between the two sides started right away.
The green scorpions were over 3 meters in size. They were between Tier-3 and Tier-4 beasts. The Tier-4 beasts were slightly larger and sturdier than the Tier-3 beasts.
There were even Tier-5 beasts among them, but they had yet to make an appearance. The Beast Tamers had spotted them early, so they were going to be cautious.
On the other hand, Jeremy Night was facing a Tier-3 Scorpion. He couldn’t afford to waste his Starlight power, so he decided not to use it against the Tier-3 Scorpion.
He was going to rely on his ability instead.

A green scorpion over 2 meters long turned toward him and started charging. He knew this Tier-3 beast’s target was him.
He held the katana tightly. Unlike the previous hybrid beasts, he couldn’t target the flank because the green scorpion had a venomous stinger.
Even a single hit from it could poison a beast tamer to death. He had no idea where the nearest human zones were, so he would do his best to slay the beast without taking damage.
Swoosh!
The beast reached him in a flash. He was on edge from the start. His eyes never left the beast; his gaze captured all its details.
The green scorpion’s red eyes glowed. It moved both pincers all of a sudden.
Swoosh!
The next second, Jeremy shifted his body. The pincers hit empty air. He was able to avoid the hit.
But he moved his blade just in time. The vertical tip of the blade struck the side of the pincer.
Cut!
The blade pierced through the skin. The next second, blood spilled from the wound.
The Green Scorpion moved the pincer abruptly in pain.
Jeremy felt the impact force. He immediately withdrew the blade and retreated.
Pfff!
A torrent of blood gushed forth from the wound. The Green Scorpion shook its body.
Swoosh!
He jumped back. His gaze then locked onto the beast. He saw the beast had four eyes: two on the median and two lateral.
He decided to target the two median eyes. He then bolted out from his spot, charging toward the beast.
Swoosh!
He appeared before the beast in a flash. He then leaped forward to attack.
The Green Scorpion once again moved its pincer to attack, but it missed the target.
Jeremy Night brought down the sword to stab at the eyes. In a flash, he stabbed two of the median eyes before landing on the ground.
Pfff!
Blood surged forth from the wounds. The beast lost half its sight. It started moving frantically here and there.
Seeing that, Jeremy thought this was the right opportunity. He once again used the blade to attack the beast.
This time, his target was the area connecting the head and the body.
Slice!
He used his movement method to burst forth. The curved tail of the beast wouldn’t be able to target him with accuracy, so the risk of getting attacked by the stinger was low.

The blade cut through the flesh and severed the part in one move. The next second, green blood streamed out of the gash.
The body of the beast dropped to the ground. The severed head landed a second later.
After dealing with the beast, his eyes turned to the next one. It was a Tier-4 beast, stronger than the Tier-3 beast that was now dead.
If he used Starlight power, it would be easy for him. He could kill a larger number of beasts with that power. But he didn’t want to do it, because he was not without help.
Actually, the veteran and higher tier beast tamers were clearing out the beasts in large numbers. He didn’t have to take the risk.
So, he decided to handle the beast coming toward him. Also, he wasn’t going to use Starlight power unless it was necessary.

The Tier-4 Scorpion, over 3 meters in size, was massive. It would take extra effort to target its vital points. It wasn’t going to be easy.
But he decided to use the same tactics again. His senses were stronger than the beast’s. The Tier-4 beast wouldn’t be able to catch him.
The Tier-4 beast arrived before him. It started using both its pincers and stinger to attack him. Jeremy evaded the attacks one after another.
The beast was fiercer than he had expected. It wasn’t giving him any chance to counterattack.
Swoosh!
As seconds passed, Jeremy used his senses to evade the deadly attacks. The beast tamers nearby watched the kid in amazement.
Had they not already witnessed his strength fighting against the corrupted beasts, they would have already rushed to help him.
So, they didn’t think he was going to face any trouble.
Jeremy Night knew that people nearby were watching him, but he ignored them. Right now, he wanted to deal with the beast in front of him.
The beast was not giving him any chance at all.
Boom!
At one point, he used the flat side of the blade against the pincer. When both of them came in contact with each other, the impact force sent him backward. He immediately stabilized his body.
Compared to the scorpion type corrupted beasts from earlier, this one in front of him was completely different.
It was as if this scorpion beast was born to fight like this. It was not relaxing its pincers or its curved tail.
Both were moving to face the threat.
Jeremy was then forced to make a decision. He used the Second Eye ability.
He could see the blood vessels of the beast, especially the blood vessels in the path where the head connected to the main body.
Compared to the previous attack, this time he wanted to do it cleanly.
