STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer-Chapter 622: New criteria unfold!
5th Zone, City-A
Jeremy Night was in his room. He had spent some time going through the report.
Not only had he gone through the information in the booklet, but he had also read the report given by Team Leader Gisela.
Right now, he had a good idea about the distribution of the forces here.
The immediate threat was none other than an organization called Silver Dominion. His eyes flashed with a sharp glint. This organization was another Beast Taming Organization.
There were other rival organizations as well. But this Silver Dominion was a bloodthirsty rival. It appeared they had a personal vengeance against Head Harold.
The booklet given by Melinda didn’t have such information. But the report given by Leader Gisela was thorough. It had some inside information as well.
The Silver Dominion was an organization with similar strength, but they were the oldest. The Red Moon Chamber, however, had grown recently.
Especially after the merger, the organization had grown to this level. So, they were facing problems from the Silver Dominion.
The next threat was an organization called Ashen Circle. It was another rival organization, but a lesser threat than the Silver Dominion.
Because people from the Ashen Circle only targeted the Red Moon Chamber Beast Tamers in the wilderness.
But the Silver Dominion sent their people to target Red Moon members in the city itself. Many murders had already happened.
Jeremy’s eyes flashed with a glint. These were all recorded in the report sent by Leader Gisela. The booklet given by Melinda didn’t have this information.
He had to say Team Leader Gisela truly cared about him. She had given him such vital information.
He had also read about the current organizational structure. He didn’t expect there were 50 teams inside the organization.
The teams were really big. The higher ups were quite large in number. The Head of the organization was the founder.
He was none other than Head Harold Red, a Tier-8 Beast Tamer. He was the sole voice and final decision maker.
Like he had said earlier, Jeremy had decided to focus on improving his strength first. The minimum requirement for any organization to recruit a Beast Tamer was Tier-3.
That too, only exceptional and talented Beast Tamers were recruited. Most of the organizations recruited graduates from the University and the Beast Taming Families.
So, he had real challenges waiting ahead. He then shifted his attention to the organization.
Senior Melinda must be part of one of the 50 teams.
He didn’t know the name of her team. It wouldn’t be long before he heard about them.
He knew that news about his recruitment must have made a splash. At this point in time, the whole organization must have known about him.
He was not expecting a warm welcome. Instead, he knew people would be pissed off. He could face threats outside the building.
But Jeremy didn’t plan to hide in the room. He decided to go outside the organization tomorrow.
...
The following day,
The whole organization was busy. Head Harold Red was going to release news about the new recruit officially, so that members, staff, and elders could know that there was a new member.
But he also knew that news about the recruitment had reached everyone, because the elders had called him yesterday itself.
Head Harold Red confirmed the news with them yesterday. But today, the outside world would know after the official statement release.
A few hours later,
As everyone started doing their morning work, the official statement was released. It immediately reached the IDs of everyone. The members viewed the notification.
After reading it, they were not surprised but got angry instead. They knew the news about the new recruit yesterday itself. It was internal news.
But today the official statement was released. The approval must have been given by the Head of the organization.
After learning that Head Harold was behind it, they didn’t know what to do. Because it was not mentioned which team the new recruit was assigned to.
Maybe that team leader and the members could protest against this appointment. But they didn’t know any further information. They didn’t know what to do to stop this nonsense.
So they could only ask the higher ups. The higher ups must have been disappointed as well.
As time went by, almost everyone who was in this building knew about the latest recruit. The others who went on missions didn’t know.
Any major news would not stay inside the four walls. It would reach the ears of other forces as well. There were forces who had people inside and outside the organization to collect information.
The Red Moon Chamber was not foolproof against this problem. One of the staff leaked the information for money.
So the news about the Tier-2 Beast Tamer internal transfer reached the ears of the organizations Silver Dominion and Ashen Circle.
Both organizations’ higher ups thought that the news was fake because they knew no one recruited a Tier-2 Beast Tamer, even though they had rare talent.
Tier-3 was the basic requirement for any Beast Tamer to join the organization. So both organizations took time to verify the news through other sources.
In the end, they came to the conclusion that the news was indeed true. The Silver Dominion thought it was a golden opportunity for them.
They had got an easy target now. They decided to send some people to cause trouble. If the Tier-2 Beast Tamer went around the city, then it would be his last day.
Similarly, the Ashen Circle people were thinking of doing something against the new Beast Tamer. They knew that it was unlikely for the Tier-2 Beast Tamer to go to the wilderness. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
If they wanted to do something, then they would have to do it inside the city.
As time went by, more and more forces learned about the Red Moon Chamber’s Tier-2 Beast Tamer.
They were in shock. Since there were a large number of forces, many of them didn’t care about the Red Moon Chamber. But the news about the Tier-2 recruitment shocked them.
They had only ever recruited Tier-3 Beast Tamers.
