"I’m ready to help, but what’s in it for me?" Jeremy asked.

Norman was taken aback. He had thought that the young man would take some time to consider because it involved a certain risk to life.

He then said, "Of course, once the mission is completed, we will give you credit points. But I have to discuss the issue with the members."

Jeremy didn’t doubt him. He thought this person was honest. He also thought the members wouldn’t dare to scheme against him.

Head Harold would be angry if something like that happened. But he didn’t know whether Head Harold would accept this plan.

He didn’t think that they had informed him, so he kept quiet and nodded his head.

Norman saw this and said, "Don’t worry, you will be safe. You don’t have to take action. You have to verify some things with your own eyes. Then we will raid the place."

"Okay," Jeremy replied.

Then he asked about the mission timing. Norman told him to be ready at midnight. Jeremy nodded to him.

Then, both parted ways. Jeremy turned around and walked towards the main gate. He still wanted to continue with his schedule.

He wanted to take a look at other shops.

On the other hand, Norman was happy that he was able to convince the newcomer. His likeability towards the young man had increased.

He then met with his team members and started discussing the mission. The team members were all surprised, including the other Tier-5 Beast Tamer.

This was because Norman disclosed the identity of Jeremy Night. After knowing that the young Tier-2 Beast Tamer was going to help them out, the members were all surprised.

Norman told them not to disclose the matter. They knew not everyone liked the addition of a Tier-2 Beast Tamer to their organization.

So, they were going to keep it silent. Everyone had thought that if the newcomer decided to help them out, then they could complete the mission easily.

But there were going to be threats to the newcomer as well. They were hoping that no one would attack the young Tier-2 Beast Tamer.

Killings were forbidden in the city. Even if there were criminals, they had to think twice before acting.

Jeremy Night came to the parking area. He then met with the cab drivers. He saw the driver whom he had met yesterday.

He approached the driver and told him to drop him off at the same antique street.

The driver agreed to do that. Then he entered the cab and sat in the back seat.

Shortly afterwards, the cab hovered above the ground. Then it appeared in mid-air before going towards the destination.

At that time, the spies of the various organizations were doing their daily work. They saw the young Beast Tamer was leaving again.

This time they didn’t take it seriously. Yesterday, some of the spies had wasted their time.

They saw the young Beast Tamer going to an antique shop and then leaving shortly afterwards.

They understood that it was a waste of time. So, a few of those who had followed the young Beast Tamer yesterday decided not to follow today.

About 20 minutes later,

The cab driver dropped him off at the same street. Jeremy stepped out and paid the fare. Instead of going to the same shop, he went to a different shop this time.

Surprisingly, he didn’t come across the mutated stones. He found the shop owner to be suspicious, but he didn’t strike up a conversation with them.

He then left the shop and entered another shop.

Time went by.

He spent another 2 hours exploring the shops in the street. But he didn’t come across the same product again.

Jeremy thought that if he had struck up a conversation with the shop owners, he could have gotten more clues. But he didn’t want to be that obvious.

He was still unclear about their backgrounds and their affiliated forces. If they were to be hostile to the Red Moon Chamber, then it would be similar to falling into a trap.

So, he was not that disappointed. Then he found another cab service and continued to explore the city.

Time passed by.

That evening, he returned to the organization. He was happy because he didn’t find anyone stalking him today.

It was as if those people were bored by his activities. He also thought that people didn’t want to waste their time.

He then returned to his room. Tonight was going to be important. He didn’t know what kind of risks were involved.

He understood that he was going into the den to verify whether it was a criminal den or not.

Meanwhile,

Norman and the others were getting ready. They had registered for the mission. They had also decided how to divide the share.

Everyone agreed to give Jeremy Night some amount. His help was going to be valuable. Not only that, but Jeremy Night was going to face danger as well.

If the criminals were to be alerted, they could attack Jeremy Night.

On the other hand, they didn’t inform the higher-ups or Head Harold. It didn’t even strike their minds because they were not going to involve Jeremy Night officially.

Time went by

Midnight came. The team left the building for the mission. They were going to wait outside for Jeremy Night to come.

A few minutes later,

Jeremy Night left the building. He saw that there was no one in the lobby at this time. He wondered where they were right now.

Then he saw someone standing outside the building. He exited the building and saw that the person was none other than Team Leader Norman.

He went there and met with him.

"Are you ready?" Norman asked.

"Yes," Jeremy replied.

Then they exited through the main gate. Only the guards were surprised, but they didn’t ask anything.

Both of them entered one of the five cars there.

Swoosh!

Shortly afterwards, the flying cars started departing from the place. They flew in the air one by one towards the destination.
